About Physio & Sole Clinic (Orchard)

About Physio & Sole Clinic (Orchard)

Physio & Sole Clinic (Orchard) is a physiotherapy practice located at 170 Upper Bukit Timah Road offering services to clients across Singapore. The clinic has been verified by KakiList, confirming active operations and contact channels. It holds a 4.9/5 rating across 122 Google reviews, a robust sample that provides a reliable signal of consistent client satisfaction. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range tier based on available display data; specific session fees should be confirmed directly with the clinic.

New clients typically begin with an initial consultation in which the physiotherapist takes a full history, assesses mobility, strength, and posture, and identifies the presenting condition — whether musculoskeletal pain, a post-surgical recovery, a sports injury, or a chronic issue such as lower back pain or plantar fasciitis. From there, a treatment plan is agreed, which may involve manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, dry needling, or a combination. The clinic can be reached via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form. Clients should clarify upfront whether sessions are claimable under their health insurance policy, as physiotherapy coverage varies significantly by plan and insurer, and whether a GP referral letter is required by their insurer to process a claim.

To book an initial assessment, contact Physio & Sole Clinic (Orchard) directly via WhatsApp or phone, describe your presenting condition and any relevant history, and ask about current appointment availability and the first-session format.

Nicodemus is a professional and knowledgeable physiotherapist. He resolved my neck pain in two sessions. He was patient throughout the process, and the follow-up exercises were clear and easy to follow. Highly recommended for effective treatment.

Superb experience from the initial wassap assessment to first visit at their Bt Timah branch. Toto, my podiatrist, was really patient and took time to listen, answered my queries and also explained my nails condition and the treatment plan. He was very honest about managing my expectations and one could tell he is very passionate about his craft. Overall was a relax and an informative session. Toto is very personable and knows his stuff - felt assured as well. Two thumbs up!!

I had a plantar wart on the ball of my foot, and it was painful to walk on. James was my podiatrist. He is very professional, patient, and kind. During each session, James would take time to treat the wart without causing any pain. I was also given detailed instructions on taking care of the wart at home, which I feel sped up the recovery process. After the first few sessions, there was no more pain when I am on my feet, and after a couple more, my wart is gone! The receptionists are very friendly too. They are very accomodating when I had to change my appointment. The clinic is very clean, and the tools are properly sterilized. Overall, I am glad that I chose Physio and Sole Clinic for my treatment.

When I first stepped into the Consultation Room of Nicodemus, it lent a peaceful tranquility. He put me at ease and gave his listening ear on my concern. I knew that his check on my condition was very thorough in order to explain so I could appreciate the reason of going through the recommended exercise regime. This is a superb approach - that of teaching independence and ownership. Finally, he prescribed the remedy with three sets of exercises with full assurance that if I worked hard on them, there would be good outcome. He never once coerced for a repeat visit. This is professionalism!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Physio & Sole Clinic (Orchard) charge per session?

Physio & Sole Clinic (Orchard) is listed at the mid-range price tier, though specific per-session fees are not publicly displayed and should be confirmed directly with the clinic. As a general Singapore market reference, physiotherapy consultations typically run S$80–150 for an initial assessment and S$70–130 for follow-up sessions, with rates varying by session duration, modality (manual therapy, dry needling, exercise rehabilitation), and whether the therapist holds specialist credentials. Some health insurance plans cover physiotherapy, but coverage terms differ — confirm with your insurer whether a GP referral letter is required before your first appointment. Package rates for a fixed number of sessions are sometimes available and may reduce the per-session cost for clients committing to a rehabilitation programme. See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

No GP referral is required to book directly with Physio & Sole Clinic (Orchard) — most physiotherapy clinics in Singapore accept self-referred clients. However, if you intend to claim physiotherapy costs through a health insurance policy or an employer medical benefit, your insurer may require a GP or specialist referral letter before reimbursing the sessions, so it is worth checking your policy before your first appointment. The initial consultation typically involves a full musculoskeletal assessment — covering posture, range of motion, strength, and the mechanism of your injury or pain — before any hands-on treatment begins. This assessment shapes the treatment plan, so bring any relevant imaging reports, discharge summaries, or previous therapy records if you have them. Clients with certain conditions such as recent fractures, post-surgical wounds, or suspected red-flag symptoms should inform the clinic at the point of booking so the therapist can confirm suitability before the appointment.

Is the practitioner at Physio & Sole Clinic (Orchard) licensed?

In Singapore, physiotherapists are regulated by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is mandatory — practising without AHPC registration is a criminal offence. You can verify any physiotherapist's registration by searching the AHPC public register at moh.gov.sg using the practitioner's full name before or after your appointment. Physio & Sole Clinic (Orchard) does not currently list its regulatory licences on this KakiList profile. As a client, you are entitled to ask the treating physiotherapist for their full name and AHPC registration number, then cross-check it on the public register. This is standard practice and no legitimate practitioner will object. Also confirm whether the clinic holds professional indemnity insurance, which protects clients in the event of a treatment-related complaint.
