I was diagnosed with scoliosis as a child, but its effects only became noticeable 20 years later when I began experiencing severe lower back and shoulder pain-whether at the gym or sitting at work. During my first visit with Sylvester, he reassured me that scoliosis was not only treatable but could be resolved much faster than I imagined. His approach combines modern techniques like dry needling with traditional Chinese therapies such as Tui Na and cupping, providing immediate relief during each session. Sylvester also gives tailored exercises, posture corrections, and practical advice on diet and lifestyle to strengthen affected muscles and prevent recurrence. After just 3-4 sessions, my chronic pain was gone. This has completely transformed my daily life-boosting my mood and allowing me to train harder at the gym. I'm sincerely grateful to Sylvester and his team at Precision Physiotherapy Clinic for their expertise and care. Highly recommended for anyone struggling with similar issues!

I've been seeing Sylvester for a strained hip, shoulder issues, and golfer's elbow, and I couldn't be more grateful for his expertise. His manual therapy and dry needling techniques have been incredibly effective in alleviating pain and helping me regain mobility. Sylvester's knowledge of sports-related ailments is impressive, and he truly stands out as one of the best physiotherapists I've ever worked with. If you're looking for someone who is skilled, attentive, and genuinely invested in your recovery, I recommend Sylvester!

I’ve suffered from chronic neck ache for the past 8 years. I’ve been through 2 physiotherapists, a chiro, TCM, and tried other methods of treatment over the years but to no avail. I’ve been with Sylvester for about 5 months now and I can say I’m finally seeing improvements. I wouldn’t say that my pain is cured but at least I’m noticing a 30% improvement, which is more optimistic than it’s been over the past less than a decade. With Sylvester and his team I remain hopeful for a successful treatment. I believe Sylvester is a level above other physio because of his passion and commitment towards good customer outcomes. His sincerity towards this cause is telling and he’s not here just to earn your money. Try it for yourself

Sylvester and Edmund are excellent physiotherapists and Seamus a wonderful masseur! I have benefitted from being treated by, and highly recommend, all of them. Special mention goes to Sylvester because of the number of sessions I have had with him. Initially it was more rehab related (back/neck stiffness and poor posture from 2.5 decades of working at a desk and in front of screens) but within a short period of time (2 months), he has helped my body in healing itself and to transition to performance training (I have a goal of a strong and agile body for long walks and demanding hikes). He's patient, kind, encouraging and dedicated to the recovery and progress of his patients/clients. Very happy to be introduced to this team and to be able to work with them in my fitness/body-related goals.

I’ve been seeing Sylvester (physio) and Seamus (manual therapist) for over a year now. As a runner, I’ve dealt with my fair share of injuries and overuse issues, and they’ve helped me work through them one by one. What I really appreciate is that they never told me to stop running. Instead, they helped me keep going by making smart adjustments and targeting the root of the problem. Sylvester supported me through my latest marathon build and gave practical advice that went beyond the clinic. His dietary tips, follow-up videos, and tailored rehab plans made it easy to stay on track. Seamus has arguably the best manual therapy skills I have seen! I’ve seen other physios before but never really got better. This was the first time I felt like I had a team who understood what I was training for and worked with me to get there. If you’re a runner looking for someone who gets it and will help you keep doing what you love, I highly recommend them.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Precision Physiotherapy Clinic charge per session?

Physiotherapy session fees in Singapore typically range from S$80–150 per session for a standard consultation, with initial assessments sometimes priced slightly higher due to the additional diagnostic component. Package rates for multiple sessions are common and usually offer a modest saving over single-visit pricing. Confirm whether the quoted fee includes manual therapy, modalities such as ultrasound or TENS, and therapeutic exercise, or whether these are billed separately. Cancellation and no-show policies vary by clinic — ask about the notice period required to avoid a missed-appointment charge. Some corporate insurance plans and selected integrated shield plans reimburse physiotherapy; bring your insurer's letter of guarantee or claims form to the first visit. Do I need a referral or assessment first?

A GP or specialist referral is not strictly required to book a physiotherapy session at most private clinics in Singapore, including practice settings such as SBF Medical Suites. You can contact Precision Physiotherapy Clinic directly and self-refer. However, if you intend to claim through a corporate insurer or an integrated shield plan, your insurer may require a GP or specialist referral letter before approving reimbursement — check your policy before your first visit. At the initial assessment, expect to complete an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and any contraindications such as recent surgery, blood-thinning medication, or diagnosed osteoporosis. The physiotherapist will use this alongside a physical examination to confirm the diagnosis and agree the treatment plan with you before proceeding.

Is the practitioner at Precision Physiotherapy Clinic licensed?

Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is individual, not clinic-wide, and is publicly verifiable on the AHPC online register at ahpc.edu.sg — search by the physiotherapist's full name before booking. Precision Physiotherapy Clinic does not currently list specific regulatory licences in its KakiList profile. Ask the clinic directly for the treating physiotherapist's AHPC registration number and verify it on the public register. Practising as a physiotherapist without a valid AHPC registration is unlawful in Singapore, so this is a straightforward check that any legitimate clinic will accommodate without hesitation. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the AHPC public register before treatment.
