About Pro Physio

About Pro Physio

Pro Physio is a physiotherapy practice located at 160 Robinson Rd, #05-13 SBF Center, Singapore 068914, serving clients islandwide. The listing is verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 4.9/5 rating across 30 Google reviews — a moderate sample that suggests consistent client satisfaction, though prospective clients should weigh this alongside their own assessment.

Enquiries can be made by phone or via the contact form. At a first consultation, the physiotherapist will typically conduct a structured assessment covering your presenting condition, pain history, functional limitations, and goals — whether that is post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury recovery, musculoskeletal pain management, or a chronic condition such as lower back pain or frozen shoulder. From there, a treatment plan is agreed, which may combine manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modality-based interventions. Clients should ask whether sessions are one-to-one or shared, how many sessions are recommended before reviewing progress, and what the cancellation and no-show policy is.

To take the next step, contact Pro Physio by phone or through the online form to describe your condition and book an initial consultation.

Mathias’ approach to recovery exercises was never hasty. He listened intently, carefully stress testing the area of concern and recommended exercises to build strength. He was always generous on tips to perfecting the posture in each exercise to milk the benefits. Definitely a great companion to the recovery path!

After i was suggested to undergo surgery for a SLAP 2 tear of my shoulder, I decided to consult Mathias, who came highly recommended. I have seen him for 9 months and during the sessions we worked a lot on recovering my full range of movement, as well as building strength, focusing not only on the upper part but the entire body. I now feel much better, and surgery is definitely no longer on the table. Our sessions also had a very positive impact on my overall lifestyle habits and movements. I really enjoyed his work ethic and approach. Thank you again for everything, Mathias!

I tore my meniscus recently and had been receiving treatments from Mathias on the recommendation of my wife who herself had been referred to him by her surgeon after she had a shoulder surgery. Her recovery was very good and she was back to almost full range of motion and strength by the 6th month because of Mathias professional management of her rehabilitation. Mathias was always careful to explain the hows and the whys during his treatments and always finished with sets of exercises to do to help with the recovery. I myself is now receiving the same consistent treatments from him and has also made progress in my own recovery. Thank you Mathias for helping us so we can both get back to our active lives.

I had right knee cartilage degeneration that caused me to limp and experience constant throbbing pain. After consulting with an orthopaedic specialist, taking the prescribed medication, and starting weekly physio sessions with Mathias for two months, I’ve seen incredible improvement. One session in particular was truly life-changing. I walked out of the clinic without a limp and could walk properly again. Since then, every session has brought me closer to feeling normal and I’m now back to my usual routine without pain. Mathias is easy-going, knowledgeable and thorough. He explained my everything clearly, guided me through the exercises and made sure I understood how each step would help my recovery. The use of kinesiology tape was nothing short of magic, it provided instant support and relief. I can’t recommend Mathias highly enough. If you need a physio who truly understands and cares about your recovery, look no further.

I have seen Matthias off and on over the past year for (unfortunately) a variety of physical ailments ranging from shoulder pain to back and knee pain. In all cases he has, with his inimitable good humor, helped me immensely not only in the moment but also has shown me how to prevent recurrences in the future through changes in movement and posture, stretches and the like. As someone who exercises a lot, his advice has helped me “get back in the game” and I cannot recommend anyone more strongly if you feel you need the help of a physio. Kudos to Pro Physio!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Pro Physio charge per session?

Physiotherapy session fees in Singapore typically range from S$80 to S$180 per session at private clinics, with the first consultation sometimes priced higher to cover the full assessment. Package rates — for example, blocks of six or ten sessions — are common and usually represent a modest saving over the single-session rate. Confirm with Pro Physio whether a separate initial assessment fee applies, whether packages are transferable, and what the cancellation or no-show charge is. If you hold an integrated shield plan or a corporate health insurance policy, check whether physiotherapy claims are covered and whether a GP referral letter is required to activate the benefit. GST applies to physiotherapy services at private clinics. See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

You do not need a GP referral to book a private physiotherapy consultation in Singapore — you can self-refer directly. That said, bringing a referral letter, relevant imaging (X-rays, MRI reports), or a specialist's diagnosis note helps the physiotherapist understand your condition more quickly and may be required if you intend to claim under an insurance policy. At the first visit, expect a structured intake — a verbal history, postural and movement screening, manual assessment of the affected area, and a discussion of treatment goals. If your condition involves post-surgical rehabilitation, the physiotherapist may request the surgical report and the surgeon's protocol before beginning. Clients with contraindications such as unhealed fractures, active deep-vein thrombosis, or active infection should flag these at booking.

Is the practitioner at Pro Physio licensed?

Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is renewable and verifiable on the AHPC public register at ahpc.edu.sg — search by the practitioner's name to confirm current standing. Pro Physio's specific practitioner licences are not listed in the current KakiList data, so prospective clients should ask for the consulting physiotherapist's full name and AHPC registration number before the first appointment and verify independently. ACRA registration for the business entity is not confirmed in the current listing. Confirm the practitioner's AHPC licence number on the public register before treatment.
