For a first appointment, patients typically contact the clinic via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to describe their presenting condition — whether that is musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury, or a chronic mobility concern. The physiotherapist will conduct an initial assessment to understand the nature, duration, and functional impact of the condition before agreeing on a treatment plan. This may combine manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modality-based interventions across a series of follow-up sessions, with the frequency adjusted as recovery progresses. Patients with complex or long-standing conditions may benefit from clarifying whether the clinic is able to correspond with their GP or specialist.

To take the next step, reach out to Prohealth PhysioFocus directly via WhatsApp or phone to describe your condition and book an initial assessment slot.

Physiotherapist Chris Wong has been a great help with my knee problem. From the first session I liked his approach. During the treatment he explains what he is doing, why he is doing it and what is happening in your body. That gave me a lot of confidence and helped me understand the problem much better. He also gives exercises and takes the time to explain the purpose of each one and how they help the recovery. He has been working on my hip, ITB and the muscles around the knee and I’ve noticed clear improvement since starting physio. My knee feels much better and now I also know what to do to prevent it from coming back. He is friendly and patient and always answers all my questions. The sessions feel relaxed and you can tell he genuinely cares about helping you recover properly and not just giving a temporary solution. I’m really happy with the treatment and I would definitely recommend Chris to anyone dealing with knee pain or a sports related injury.

I had an excellent experience with Jade for my carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) and shin splint injury. She created a truly bespoke rehab program tailored to my condition and lifestyle, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Jade is not only highly knowledgeable and professional, but also incredibly caring and attentive. She carefully monitored my progress and adjusted the exercises as I improved. Thanks to her structured and personalised approach, my wrist strength has improved significantly and my shin pain is now well managed. Highly recommend Jade to anyone looking for a dedicated and results-driven physiotherapist.

The therapist took the time to reassess my injury rather than just going along with the original diagnosis I came in with. This thorough, thoughtful evaluation made all the difference, helping me to get back to my gym routines. He explains everything very clearly and answers any questions I have. Highly recommended!

I have been coming ProHealth for years whenever I have an injury. In the last 3 months, Jade has been my therapist and I can’t recommend Jade enough. She was incredibly patient, professional and genuinely caring throughout my TFCC wrist recovery. Over the last three months she guided me step-by-step, always explaining things clearly and adjusting treatment as needed. I always felt listened to and never rushed. My wrist has improved so much thanks to her. If you need a physio who really knows what they’re doing and actually cares, Jade is the one.

Chris has been incredible. I came in with shoulder and lower back pain, and he quickly identified the root causes and created a targeted treatment plan. He’s knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely cares about my recovery. I’ve seen significant improvement in mobility and pain levels. Highly recommend his expertise.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Prohealth PhysioFocus charge per session?

A specific fee schedule was not available at time of listing. As a general guide, physiotherapy consultations in Singapore typically run S$80–150 per session for a standard 45–60 minute appointment, with initial assessments sometimes priced slightly higher. Follow-up sessions, specialised modalities, or extended treatment blocks may be bundled into packages at a reduced per-session rate. Confirm the per-session rate, any package terms, and the cancellation and no-show policy directly with the clinic before booking. Ask whether your Integrated Shield Plan or corporate health insurance provides reimbursement for outpatient physiotherapy — many do, but a doctor's referral letter may be required by the insurer. Do I need a referral or assessment first?

Physiotherapy in Singapore does not require a GP referral to book directly — you can contact Prohealth PhysioFocus via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form and secure an appointment without a prior doctor's visit. That said, a referral letter from a GP or specialist is worth obtaining if you intend to claim under an Integrated Shield Plan or corporate insurance, as many insurers require one for outpatient therapy reimbursement. At the first visit, expect to complete an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and any contraindications. The physiotherapist will then carry out a physical assessment before outlining a recommended treatment plan. Patients with post-surgical conditions, fractures under active orthopaedic management, or cardiac or neurological complications should inform the clinic in advance so the appropriate clinical protocols can be in place.

Is the practitioner licensed?

Physiotherapists practising in Singapore are regulated by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is mandatory — an unregistered person may not legally provide physiotherapy services. You can verify any physiotherapist's registration on the AHPC public register at ahpc.edu.sg by searching for the practitioner's name before your first appointment. Prohealth PhysioFocus did not list specific regulatory licences in the information provided to KakiList. We recommend confirming the full name of the treating physiotherapist and cross-checking their registration on the AHPC register directly. Professional indemnity insurance is standard practice for AHPC-registered physiotherapists and provides recourse in the event of a treatment-related complaint. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the AHPC public register before treatment.
