About Psych Connect
Psych Connect is a counselling practice based at 10 Winstedt Road, Singapore, offering psychological and counselling services islandwide. It holds KakiList verification, confirming that operating details and contact channels have been reviewed. On Google it carries a 4.5-star rating across 79 reviews, a moderate sample that provides reasonable directional confidence in service quality.
Engaging with Psych Connect typically begins with an initial consultation, during which the counsellor takes a brief history of your presenting concerns — whether that is anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, or workplace stress — and discusses your goals for therapy. From there, you can expect a proposed approach, an indication of session frequency, and a conversation about whether a recurring package or single-session arrangement suits your situation. Enquire about session format (in-person at Winstedt Road or online), appointment availability, and the cancellation policy before committing. You can reach the practice via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form.
To take the next step, send a message via WhatsApp or complete the contact form on their listing to request an initial consultation slot and confirm the counsellor's credentials and approach before your first appointment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Title: A Clinic That Prioritizes Rules Over the Well-Being of Children and Families As a guardian, I must share this serious and factual account of our experience with Psych Connect. For the Child & Therapeutic Experience: We enrolled our child in this practice with the expectation of professional, child-centered care. After a single session, it became clear that the therapeutic approach was fundamentally misaligned with our child’s needs. The experience was distressing for our child, who expressed clear resistance and refused to attend any further sessions. This fundamental mismatch in care was not acknowledged or addressed by the team. From a Guardian’s Perspective & Service Attitude: When we communicated our child’s negative experience and the decision to discontinue treatment, the clinic’s response was cold, rigid, and entirely lacking in empathy. We were met with an unwavering insistence on their no-refund policy, with no willingness to discuss the situation or consider a partial refund for the numerous prepaid, unused sessions. There was no attempt to understand our concerns, no apology for the poor therapeutic fit, and no effort to find a reasonable resolution. The priority was clearly on enforcing financial terms, not on the welfare of the child or the concerns of the family. Critical Warning for Prospective Clients: Exercise extreme caution before committing to prepaid session packages. The clinic’s policies are inflexible, offering no protection to families if the therapeutic relationship fails or the child’s well-being is compromised. Be mindful of the clinic’s response to critical feedback. A surge in positive reviews following negative feedback suggests a focus on reputation management rather than accountability and improvement. This practice demonstrates a profound lack of the empathy and client-centered care that is fundamental to psychological services. I cannot recommend it to any family seeking genuine support for their child.
Some time has passed since our sessions, but I was reminded of Ms Aneesha today. I wanted to share our positive experience with her and the lasting impact of her work. She is patient, thoughtful, and deeply respectful in her approach. What stood out to me was her ability to support without making assumptions, creating a safe and constructive space for reflection and growth. And the benefits continued to endure over time, for which I am grateful. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an empathetic practitioner who can genuinely connect well with adults and young children.
We had a very positive experience with Psych Connect. Ms Veronika Schindler who supported my daughter was professional, caring, and created a safe space where she felt understood and comfortable. We saw real progress, and as a parent, I felt reassured knowing she was in such good hands. I would highly recommend Psych Connect to other families seeking supportive and professional therapy services.
Our daughter was assigned to Principal Educational Therapist, Ms. Mathana Balan or Ms. Maddy as she is fondly known to all the kids, after her dyspraxia / ADHD diagnosis. Ms. Maddy immediately puts all her young clients at ease, giving them the assurance and encouragement they need to tackle even the most daunting tasks. Within a few sessions, our daughter had a robust writing framework tailored to her learning needs, giving her newfound confidence to tackle the heavy academic load that came with secondary school. Ms. Maddy is highly attuned to her young or even teenage charges, she instinctively knows what troubles them. She is very mindful and always provides timely recommendations to parents and child, be it to help with emotional regulation, coping with social situations or even just helping them to frame their thoughts. We have been most fortunate to be paired with Ms. Maddy, a better champion for those with learning needs, we could not find. She is firm but kind, encouraging but realistic in managing expectations and most of all she is a safe space for all our children, a true confidante and role model. As a parent, I too enjoy my 10min after class with Ms. Maddy! You’ve journeyed with us for over to 3 years Maddy, as our time with you comes to a close, we just want to say a big thank you, you’ve made a real difference in all our lives.
I engage in clinical supervision with Sanveen and I like her direct approach. It is evidence-based and filled with humour. I also like that Sanveen (Dr. Sanveen; although she has never once asked me to address her as such!) is able to guide me with empathy and challenges me to view my own blindspots. Thank you!

Psych Connect displays a mid-range price indicator but does not publish a fixed per-session rate publicly. For counselling services in Singapore, individual therapy sessions typically run S$100–200 per hour at private practices, with initial consultations sometimes priced separately. Some practices offer multi-session packages at a slight reduction. Confirm the per-session fee, any first-consultation charge, and the cancellation or no-show policy directly with Psych Connect before booking. Also ask whether sessions are claimable under an employee assistance programme (EAP) or insurance policy, as some workplace plans cover a set number of counselling sessions per year. A GP or specialist referral is not required to book a counselling session at most private practices in Singapore, including those operating in the wellness space. You can contact Psych Connect directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form to request an initial appointment. At the first session, you will typically complete an intake form covering your personal history, current concerns, and any previous mental health treatment. If you have a clinical diagnosis or are managing a condition under a psychiatrist, bringing any relevant reports helps the counsellor understand your background. A GP referral letter can be useful if you intend to make an insurance claim, so check your policy before booking. If your needs require medication or a formal psychiatric assessment, the counsellor can provide a referral to an appropriate clinician.
Counsellors and psychotherapists in Singapore are not yet statutorily regulated under a single mandatory licensing board, unlike physiotherapists (AHPC) or TCM practitioners (TCMPB). However, credible practitioners typically hold registration with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) or the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), or hold an accredited postgraduate qualification in counselling or psychology. Before your first appointment, ask Psych Connect directly for the counsellor's professional registration body, membership number, and highest relevant qualification. You can cross-check SAC membership on the SAC website and SPS membership on the SPS directory. If clinical psychology services are offered, confirm whether the practitioner is registered with the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP). Note that Psych Connect does not list any regulatory licences in its current KakiList entry — confirm credentials directly.
If Psych Connect isn't the right fit, these are other counselling providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
