About Raffles City Convention Centre
Raffles City Convention Centre is a venue rental provider located at 80 Bras Basah Rd, Level 4, Singapore 189560, in the heart of the Civic District. It is KakiList-verified and holds a 4.4/5 rating across 1,491 Google reviews — a robust sample that reflects consistent guest experience across a wide range of events. Pricing is positioned in the mid-to-upper range, in keeping with a city-centre convention facility of this scale.
When enquiring about a booking, confirm the capacity for your specific event format — standing cocktail, banquet round-table, and theatre seating each yield different numbers from the same floor space, with cocktail typically running 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated count. Ask about the F&B arrangement: whether the venue operates on an in-house F&B minimum spend, an approved-caterer list, or an external-caterer corkage model. Clarify A/V provision (PA, projector, screen, lighting, microphones), aircon hours, noise curfew, setup and teardown access windows outside the rented period, parking (the adjoining Raffles City Shopping Centre carpark is a practical option), accessibility via lift and ramp, and whether the space is a registered ROM solemnisation venue if a wedding ceremony is involved.
To proceed, contact Raffles City Convention Centre by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to check date availability, request a floor-plan and capacity sheet for your event format, and arrange a site recce before committing to a deposit.
Do a site recce, confirm capacity for your specific event format (cocktail / banquet / theatre), and put the F&B policy, A/V inclusions, noise curfew, setup/teardown access, and rescheduling terms in writing before paying the deposit.
Raffles Shopping Center is a fantastic place for both shopping and dining in the heart of Singapore. The mall is well-designed, clean, and conveniently connected to the MRT, making it very accessible. It offers a great mix of high-end boutiques, popular brands, and local specialty stores. The food options are excellent, with a wide range of cafes, restaurants, and food courts. Whether you’re looking to shop, grab a bite, or just escape the heat, Raffles is a perfect stop.
Weekend parking is $2.20 for 2 hours. Subsequent hour at $0.40 only. Went on Saturday morning. Shops were still closed but Marketplace at basement is quite busy already. The convention has vaccination going on on level 4. There is a food court on level 3 which has quite a lot of local food. Can try. Can also do grocery shopping at Marketplace.
The reason for visit was vaccination but it’s a really well maintained place. The vaccine procedure is queue for registration, wait with the queue number, vaccine shot and 30 min observation. Total about an hour so keep hydrated. The shopping mall is one of the best, especially the market place with amazing food options.
Seen the mall growth and been a loyal shopper of the anchor tenant: Robinson. The mall has added more newer brand to add vibrancy to the shopping sensation. Drop by the basement to experience their food paradise...
Kudos to the team at the Raffles City Convention Center for ensuring that the nation wide vaccination exercise is done smoothly and to the best of experience. Really quick and easy, connected through MRT. Love the comfort found in the convention hall as well. 4th floor, above the shopping centre, and you can't possibly miss it.

Raffles City Convention Centre prices events as packages rather than simple hourly rates, which is standard for a city-centre convention facility. Function room packages at venues of this scale in Singapore typically start from S$1,500–8,000+ for smaller configurations and rise to S$8,000–30,000+ for full-day ballroom or multi-room use. The quoted package usually covers the rented space, basic A/V (PA, projector, screen), aircon hours, and on-site staff. Common add-ons include extended-hours surcharges, external-caterer corkage (typically S$3–8 per pax), in-house F&B minimum spend arrangements, liquor corkage for BYO, photography or videography permits, and setup and teardown windows outside the rented period. Contact the venue directly for a formal quotation tailored to your event format, guest count, and date. See the full Venue Rental cost guide for Singapore →
Raffles City Convention Centre offers multiple rooms and configurations across Level 4, so capacity varies significantly by the space selected. As a rule, standing cocktail capacity runs roughly 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated figure for the same room, with theatre seating sitting between the two. Request the full floor-plan and per-room capacity sheet when enquiring, and confirm that the layout allows for your stage, dance floor, or exhibition requirements if applicable. For F&B, convention-centre venues of this type typically operate on an in-house catering arrangement or an approved-caterer model rather than open BYO. Confirm whether there is a minimum F&B spend per pax, what the approved menu options cover (including halal, vegetarian, and dietary-restriction requirements), whether a tasting is available before booking, and the liquor policy. If you are planning a wedding solemnisation, confirm whether the space is a registered ROM venue or whether you will need to arrange a Justice of the Peace separately.
A deposit — typically 30–50% of the total package value — is required to secure the date, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event. Popular Saturday evenings in peak wedding and corporate season (March–April and October–November) book out well in advance at city-centre venues, so enquire at least six to twelve months ahead for those dates. Before paying the deposit, do a site recce to confirm room dimensions, ceiling height, A/V capability, and accessibility (lift, ramp, accessible toilets). Clarify the noise curfew, parking arrangements, and setup and teardown access windows, as these are often outside the rented period and can affect your vendor logistics. Put the rescheduling and force-majeure policy in writing — reputable venues typically allow postponement within six to twelve months without forfeiting the deposit where a restriction or unforeseen circumstance forces a change of date.
