Enquiries about event spaces at Raffles Hotel Singapore typically begin by confirming capacity for the intended event format — standing cocktail, banquet round-table, or theatre seating, with cocktail layouts typically accommodating 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated count. Prospective clients should clarify whether in-house F&B is mandatory or whether an external caterer is permitted, and establish any applicable minimum spend per head or corkage arrangement. Key practical details to confirm include A/V provision (PA, projector, screen, microphones, and lighting), aircon hours, noise curfew, setup and teardown access windows (which are often outside the formally rented window), and parking — either within the property or via nearby paid car parks. Accessibility via lift, ramp, and accessible toilets should also be confirmed. For wedding solemnisations, prospective clients should verify whether Raffles Hotel Singapore is a registered ROM solemnisation venue, and confirm whether a Justice of the Peace needs to be arranged independently.
To proceed, contact Raffles Hotel Singapore directly by phone or via the enquiry form on their website to check date availability, discuss the event format and anticipated headcount, and request a full package proposal — including the deposit schedule, balance payment timeline, and rescheduling terms — before paying any deposit.
Do a site recce, confirm capacity for your specific event format (cocktail / banquet / theatre), and put the F&B policy, A/V inclusions, noise curfew, setup/teardown access, and rescheduling terms in writing before paying the deposit.
We had a wonderful experience at Raffles hotel for our birthdays. My wife has wanted to come here for a long time and the hotel did not disappoint! We had pre dinner drinks in the long bar savoring the Singapore slings and participating in the tradition of eating the table nuts and dropping the shell's on the floor. We then had dinner at the Tiffin Room which was exceptional. The food was exquisite, the wine offered first class and the service we had from Flor was truly amazing. We finished the evening walking the grounds of this truly exquisite and beautiful building. We will always remember this special occasion at this amazing hotel and thank you again to Flor for her service and making us feel special.
My wife and I recently had the privilege of staying at Raffles Hotel Singapore, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the hotel’s beautifully preserved colonial architecture — pristine, elegant, and meticulously maintained. Every corridor, courtyard, and suite reflects timeless grace and quiet luxury. What truly elevated our stay was the exceptional personal butler service. The attention to detail, warmth, and genuine care made us feel not just like guests, but like honored friends. Every request was anticipated, every moment thoughtfully handled. A special and heartfelt thank-you goes to Mr. Roslee Sukar, the hotel’s resident historian and former personal butler to Michael Jackson and Queen Elizabeth II. Mr. Sukar graciously gave us a private historical tour of Raffles, sharing mesmerizing stories from his decades of service. His passion, humor, and deep knowledge brought the hotel’s rich legacy vividly to life — a truly rare and personal experience we will treasure. Raffles is not simply a hotel — it is living history, wrapped in elegance and delivered with heartfelt hospitality. We left with full hearts, beautiful memories, and deep gratitude. If you ever have the opportunity to stay here, take it. This is hospitality at its finest. — Paul
Wonderful iconic hotel with great and helpful staff who genuinely cannot do enough for you. Your allocated staff members go out of their way to turn your stay into an experience. Our butler Cathy was fantastic and looked after our needs from providing in room Singapore Slings to running a relaxing bath for my partner. However, Vicki was exceptional. From the moment we arrived to waving us off, she could not do enough. This was on top of probably dealing with another 15 customers as well. She was full of advice and idea's, always making us feel special. Subsequently, it did not surprise us to learn that she was named amongst the best receptionists in Singapore after collecting just 18 months of experience. She must be the best by now. The iconic nature of this hotel makes it one of the best in the world. It's staff and their attention to detail and service will keep this hotel as one of the best in the world. Exceptional. See you later in 2026.
Only went to Long Bar, but by entering through the front entrance had a opportunity to walk a considerable distance through the outer parts of Hotel. Consequently was able to gain a flavour of what it is like staying in the Hotel. The Long bar itself was not as long as I expected. We arrived at an oportune time (around 18:30) and had only a minute or two wait to be seated. Waitress who served us was very friendly and polite. We ordered what 90 + % of people order "singapore slings" not cheap though at 44 singspore dollars each. But very nice and enjoyable. We stopped for a second drink and were rewarded with two views to the mechanical cocktail shaker in action. A sight and sound certainly to behold. If you get the chance enjoy the delinquence of throwing monkey nut casing on the floor. When left after roughly an hour there was a queue of approximately 20 people waiting for entry. Hope you do have that chance to enjoy.
An amazing stay at this first class hotel. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by their friendly staff who went above and beyond in making our stay perfect in every way. Our suite was super comfortable and the amenities first class..they think of everything to make your stay memorable. The food was excellent at the Indian restaurant. Breakfast so much choice. Lovely pool and spa as well. Don't take our word for it....go and see for yourself.

Raffles Hotel Singapore prices its event spaces on a package basis at a premium tier. Function and ballroom spaces at landmark heritage hotels in Singapore typically range from S$300–1,500+ per hour for ballrooms, or S$8,000–30,000+ for full-day event packages, depending on the room, format, and F&B arrangement. In-house F&B venues commonly set a minimum spend per head in lieu of a separate hall rental fee. Itemise the full cost before signing: aircon hours included in the package, basic A/V provision, setup and teardown access, staff on-site, cleaning, and any extended-hours surcharge (typically 1.5×–2× outside a noise curfew window). Add-ons such as external-caterer corkage, liquor corkage for BYO, and photography or videography permits may apply. GST applies to venue rental and in-house F&B. Raffles Hotel Singapore offers multiple event spaces with varying capacities. Confirm the specific room and layout for your event — standing cocktail format typically accommodates 1.5 to 2 times the number of banquet seated guests, with theatre seating sitting between the two. Share your headcount and event format when enquiring so the events team can recommend the appropriate space. As a full-service hotel, Raffles Hotel Singapore operates with in-house F&B, and external catering is typically not permitted — a minimum spend per head usually replaces a standalone hall rental fee. Confirm the beverage arrangement (house wine list, BYO with corkage) and whether menu tasting is available for events above a minimum value. For wedding solemnisations, confirm whether the venue is a registered ROM venue and whether the events team can assist with JP arrangement.
A deposit of typically 30–50% of the package value is required to secure the date, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event. Popular Saturday evenings at landmark venues book out six to twelve months ahead, particularly during wedding season (March–April and October–November), so enquiring early is advisable. Confirm the noise curfew (typically 10–11pm for venues in or near residential areas), parking arrangements, and accessibility. Ask about the force-majeure and rescheduling policy — reputable venues generally allow rescheduling within six to twelve months without forfeiting the deposit if the reason is outside the client's control. A site recce during a live event or at meal time is strongly recommended before paying the deposit, so you can assess setup, acoustics, and service standards in context. Put the F&B policy, A/V inclusions, noise curfew, setup and teardown access windows, and all rescheduling terms in writing before signing.
