Patients typically begin by reaching out via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to describe their condition or rehabilitation goal — whether that is post-surgical recovery, sports injury, back or neck pain, neurological rehabilitation, or general musculoskeletal complaints. At the first consultation, the physiotherapist conducts a structured assessment to establish a working diagnosis and agree a treatment plan, which may combine hands-on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities such as dry needling or ultrasound. Patients should ask upfront whether their plan suits individual sessions or a block package, how many sessions are expected, and what the cancellation policy is. Those covered by corporate or personal accident insurance should confirm whether the clinic issues the documentation required for claims.
To take the next step, contact Rapid Physiocare (Kovan) via WhatsApp or phone to describe your condition and arrange an initial assessment appointment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
I had an excellent experience with Kok Hong at Rapid Physiocare. He was very thorough in assessing posture-related muscle tightness from long hours of desk work and clearly explained the root causes of my discomfort. The treatment was targeted and effective, and I felt significant relief in my neck, shoulders, and back after the session. He also shared practical posture, stretching, and simple exercise tips that are easy to incorporate into a busy workday to help prevent the tightness from returning. Highly recommended for anyone experiencing aches and stiffness from prolonged desk or computer work.
My daughter had a few sessions with Rachel Soh, and we were very impressed. Rachel was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. She provided my daughter with personalised exercises and guidance that really helped her improve. After the sessions, my daughter felt much better and more confident in her recovery. We highly recommend Rachel and Rapido Physiocare for anyone looking for excellent physiotherapy care!
I went to see Kok Hong for a hamstring strain, and he’s helped me recover really well while also strengthening it to prevent future issues. He takes the time to understand my athletic training and always tries to relate it to my rehab. I really appreciate how he tries to incorporates relevant exercises and drills into his treatment and suggests specific drills to help me improve. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone dealing with an injury.
Kok Hong is very professional and knowledgeable. He managed to alleviate most of my ankle pain during my first visit and taught me many ways strengthen my ankle.
Tan Kok Hong was quite good in the physio therapy on my left leg surgery recovery. I feel good after the therapy as I slowly gain confidence on my left leg as he guide me in my recovery journey.

Rapid Physiocare (Kovan) is listed at a mid-range price point ($$), but a precise per-session rate is not published on this listing — contact the clinic directly for a current fee schedule. As a general Singapore market reference, physiotherapy consultations typically run S$80–150 per session at private clinics, with follow-up sessions sometimes slightly lower. Block packages of six to ten sessions are commonly offered at a small discount. Confirm whether the first consultation (assessment) carries a different fee from follow-up treatment sessions, and ask whether consumables such as kinesiology tape or theraband are billed separately. If you hold a corporate health benefit or personal accident policy, check whether the clinic provides the itemised receipts and referral documentation your insurer requires. GST applies to physiotherapy services at private clinics. See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →
Physiotherapy in Singapore does not require a GP referral — you can book a first appointment directly. However, arriving with any relevant medical records, imaging reports (MRI, X-ray), or a specialist's letter helps the physiotherapist contextualise your condition more quickly and avoids duplicating diagnostic steps. At the first visit, expect a structured intake assessment covering your presenting complaint, medical history, aggravating and relieving factors, and functional goals. The physiotherapist will then carry out physical tests before proposing a treatment plan. If you intend to claim through MediSave (which covers physiotherapy at approved community rehabilitation centres rather than standard private clinics) or through an insurer, clarify eligibility at the point of booking. Patients with complex or post-surgical conditions may benefit from bringing a GP referral letter, as some insurers require it to process a claim.
Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is required by law and verifiable on the AHPC public register at https://www.healthprofessionals.gov.sg — search by the practitioner's full name. AHPC registration confirms that the individual has met the required educational and clinical standards and is subject to professional disciplinary oversight. Note that this listing does not currently include the individual practitioners' names or their AHPC registration numbers. Before beginning treatment, ask the clinic for the full name of the physiotherapist who will treat you, then verify their registration on the AHPC register directly. This is a straightforward step and any legitimate clinic will accommodate the request without hesitation. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the AHPC public register before treatment.
