New patients typically begin with a first consultation in which the physiotherapist takes a detailed history of the presenting condition — whether that is musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury, neurological recovery, or a workplace or motor-accident injury. The clinician will carry out a physical assessment before recommending a treatment plan, which may include manual therapy, dry needling, exercise prescription, or electrotherapy modalities. Patients should clarify at the outset whether they are seeking a single session or a course of treatment, and whether sessions can be claimed under Medisave, corporate insurance, or a personal accident policy.

To get started, contact Rapid Physiocare (Paya Lebar) via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to describe your condition and preferred appointment time, and to confirm current session fees and any documentation required for insurance claims.

I did my physio here from a ACL recon + meniscus repair with Zaki and Pei ting. Both physiotherapist have the best knowledge and they are very professional in treating patients. They helped treat my injury as well as constantly encouraged me. Good doctors not only treat the wound but also the mind/heart. Everyone is very friendly here including the receptionist. I could not recommend this physio clinic enough, you'd definitely get the best treatment here.

Had a physio session following my toe surgery and the improvement was gradual but consistently positive. My mobility is back, strength has noticeably returned, and the discomfort I was dealing with has greatly reduced. Grace, my therapist, was attentive, explained every exercise clearly, and adjusted the session to my progress. I finally feel confident walking normally again. Highly recommended for post-surgery recovery. Receptionists are also very friendly and patient. Always providing service with a smile.

I saw Grace for a persistent knee sprain and noticed significant improvement in my pain within a couple of sessions. The whole experience was comfortable and not rushed, unlike some other clinics. She explained the MRI scan results and the doctor’s diagnosis in clear, plain language, and took the time to explain how her treatment methods and exercises would help improve my condition. Grace was also attentive in correcting my form and posture when I was doing the exercises. Would certainly recommend Grace for anyone who wishes to get the most out of each physiotherapy session.

Zaki is honestly the muscle whisperer. He really knows what he is doing and gets straight to the root of the problem. Every session is efficient, focused, and built around a clear goal. His advice is practical and easy to follow, which makes a real difference between sessions. The reception staff are also great, friendly, organised, and welcoming. Highly recommend.

I had my therapy sessions with Zaki for around 5-6 times. All of which were really comfortable. Zaki listens fully on what you feel is going on in your body before he does a thorough physical check to identify the issues then did manual therapy before giving me exercises to do at home. Started really weak inner hamstrings & glutes that made valgus knee felt worse and overtime go better to the point I’m able to stand on 1 leg balancing well. Receptionist support was smooth & prompt :) both on WhatsApp and in clinic

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Rapid Physiocare (Paya Lebar) charge per session?

Physiotherapy session fees in Singapore typically range from S$80 to S$180 per session for a private clinic, depending on session duration, modalities used, and whether the appointment is an initial assessment or a follow-up. Package pricing — for example, a block of six or ten sessions — is common and usually offers a modest reduction on the per-session rate. A first-consultation or assessment fee may differ from the standard follow-up rate, so it is worth confirming both figures when you enquire. Ask whether consumables such as taping materials or electrotherapy pads are included, and whether GST applies to the quoted fee. Some corporate and personal accident insurance policies cover physiotherapy directly, so bring your insurance card or policy documents to the first appointment. Do I need a referral or assessment first at Rapid Physiocare (Paya Lebar)?

Physiotherapy clinics in Singapore generally accept self-referrals — you do not need a GP or specialist letter to book an appointment. However, a referral letter is useful if you intend to claim from MediShield Life, a corporate group insurance plan, or a personal accident policy, as some insurers require it to process reimbursement. For post-surgical or neurological rehabilitation, the operating surgeon or neurologist's discharge notes will help the physiotherapist understand your precautions and goals. At the first visit, expect to complete an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and contraindications such as recent fractures, pacemakers, or blood-thinning medication, which affect certain electrotherapy modalities. The physiotherapist will conduct a physical assessment before any hands-on treatment begins, so allow extra time for that initial appointment.

Is the physiotherapist at Rapid Physiocare (Paya Lebar) licensed?

Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is verifiable on the AHPC public register at careers.moh.gov.sg — search by name before or during your first appointment. Registered physiotherapists are required to hold a relevant degree and to meet continuing education requirements to maintain their registration. No regulatory licences have been listed for Rapid Physiocare (Paya Lebar) on this KakiList entry, so it is advisable to ask the clinic directly for the treating physiotherapist's full name and AHPC registration number, and to verify this on the public register before committing to a treatment package. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
