About Reach Community Services Society
Reach Community Services Society offers counselling services across Singapore, operating from its Bishan centre. The listing has been verified by KakiList, though no ACRA registration has been confirmed. With only 5 Google reviews at a rating of 4/5, the sample is too small to draw firm conclusions about service quality.
Prospective clients typically begin with an initial consultation to discuss their presenting concerns and goals. Reach Community Services Society covers counselling, which may address a range of personal, relational, or mental health concerns. It is worth confirming at enquiry whether sessions are individual, couples, or family-based, what the session format and frequency look like, whether a recurring package or single-session arrangement is available, and what the cancellation or rescheduling policy is. Asking about the practitioner's qualifications and professional registration at the outset is strongly advised.
To take the next step, contact Reach Community Services Society by phone or through their online enquiry form to ask about availability, session format, and practitioner credentials before booking your first appointment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
It took me some encouragement to walk-in one day in July to seek help for my anxiety, stress, burnt-out as a care giver for many years. At first I didn't know what's REACH is about even though I walked past many times after moving to Bishan just 4 months ago. The staff whom I chatted with were very professional, approachable, patience and caring. I'm glad I've made the right decision to walk-in with an opened heart for help and found out my problems that's been bothering me for 5 years. I will continue my healing with the counsellors at REACH.
Hi, my experience with this counselling organization is not great right from the onset. The organization is very clear on its website that they do not accept any cancellations and will not refund regardless of any scenario before the counselling session. It is already a sign but which I decided then that it is acceptable still. Counsellors are professionals working by appointments and cancelled appointments mean lost work opportunities which other clients could have come through. However, a few times their reception or contact personnel came across as aggressive and condescending. I selected a senior counsellor whom I chose after some perusal and consideration of their list, and made payment immediately. Someone called up after 45 mins or so and told me that "how you managed to book the slot which is not available??" "Can you see Y instead because X is very full and booked??" They are fast in collecting payment, refused to refund and now blame clients for successfully booking slots on their website. I have lost interest in this kind of so called counselling organization of which one can clearly experience no empathy, no understanding and no justice, right from the beginning. *P/s - Refund me asap or else i will lodge a complaint against your organization with the relevant monitoring body. Part 2 - The 'senior' counsellor called up, offering to re-schedule the meeting, admitting their system mistake. But not one word of apology. Not from her or the reception. Pretty sure I will be taking my business to somewhere else. Thanks, no thanks.
To my wonderful mentor Dawn Ho want to give five stars to my hope mentor Dawn Ho for her professional work and being so skillful in your job thank you

Reach Community Services Society lists its pricing at the '$$' band, but no specific per-session rate has been published on this listing. Singapore market rates for counselling typically run S$80–200 per session for individual therapy at community service providers, with subsidised rates sometimes available for lower-income households. Confirm the per-session fee, whether a package of sessions is available at a reduced rate, and the cancellation or no-show policy before booking. Ask whether GST applies. Many counselling providers accept self-referrals, though a GP referral can be helpful if you intend to claim against an insurance policy or if your situation involves a clinical mental health condition that may benefit from co-management with a psychiatrist or psychologist. At your first visit, expect to complete an intake form covering your presenting concerns, relevant history, and goals. Ask whether there are any contraindications or cases the counsellor does not handle, and confirm what happens if your needs are assessed as requiring a higher level of clinical care than counselling alone can provide.
No regulatory licences are currently listed for Reach Community Services Society on this directory. In Singapore, counsellors are not yet governed by a statutory licensing board in the same way as physiotherapists (AHPC) or TCM practitioners (TCMPB), but reputable practitioners typically hold registration with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) or the Singapore Register of Counsellors (SRC). Before booking, ask the practitioner directly for their professional registration number and the body they are registered with. For psychologists, confirm registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS). Confirm the practitioner's qualifications and whether they carry professional indemnity insurance. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
