New patients typically begin with an initial consultation covering presenting symptoms, medical history, and a TCM diagnostic assessment (pulse-taking and tongue examination). From there, a practitioner will recommend a treatment course — which may include acupuncture, herbal medicine, tui na, or cupping — and advise on session frequency. It is worth confirming whether the clinic offers single sessions or package commitments, the cancellation policy, and whether the TCM practitioner is registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB), as this is a statutory requirement for all practising TCM physicians in Singapore.
To make an enquiry or book a first consultation, contact Real Health Medical TCM (Bedok) directly by phone or through the enquiry form listed on their KakiList profile.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Very chill n cozy environment for patient. Like the privacy place while doing the chiro. Thank Dr David Leung for his caring and attention to his patient. Highly recommended..
The doctor is very attentive and caring, and the front desk staff are polite and professional.
I’ve been seeing Dr Simon for a neck injury, and I couldn’t be more grateful for his care. He’s incredibly meticulous in his approach—every session feels thoughtfully tailored to what my body needs. Beyond his technical skill, what really sets Simon apart is his presence: he’s mindful, warm, and genuinely invested in your well-being. I always leave feeling better physically and mentally. Highly recommended.
It is a wonderful experience with Dr David to receive the treatment. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The way how the treatment carry out is professional, advice is given on how to take care of the posture. Overall, great care and attention is given, service provided is great. Will recommend this place for people who needed Chiropractic treatment.
Dr David is a good chiropractor and has great bedside manner! I have been seeing him for my frozen neck. He takes great care to explain which muscle is strained and teaches home exercises to strengthen my neck and upper back muscles to prevent stiff neck. He takes time to analyse the muscle groups and spinal vertebrae in order to do a thorough adjustment. It's a big difference compared to other chiropractors who rush through the adjustment. Highly recommended to see Dr David regularly especially after having a new born baby, my neck tends to stiffen up. Talk to Dr David for a consult especially if you have perennial muscle back neck pain!

No referral is required to book a first appointment at a TCM clinic in Singapore. At your initial visit, the practitioner will conduct a TCM diagnostic assessment covering pulse quality, tongue appearance, and a detailed intake of symptoms, lifestyle, and medical history. You should bring any recent medical reports or prescription records, particularly if you are managing a chronic condition or taking Western medication — herb-drug interactions are a real consideration. A GP referral is not mandatory but can be helpful if you intend to claim from MediSave (which covers acupuncture at TCMPB-registered clinics for specific conditions) or if your insurer requires a referral for reimbursement of TCM treatments under an integrated plan. For complex conditions, some practitioners may ask for diagnostic results before commencing herbal prescriptions.
In Singapore, all practising TCM physicians must be registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health. Registration covers acupuncturists and TCM physicians separately, and the public register is searchable at the TCMPB website — you can verify a practitioner's name, registration number, and registration status before booking. No regulatory licences have been confirmed on this KakiList listing for Real Health Medical TCM (Bedok). Before your first appointment, ask the clinic for the consulting practitioner's TCMPB registration number and cross-check it on the public register. This takes under two minutes and is the most important verification step for any TCM consultation. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
