About Red Balloon Therapy
Red Balloon Therapy is a counselling practice based at Beauty World Centre, offering services islandwide. It has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person confirmed operating details and contact channel. It holds a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5 across 11 reviews — a small sample, so treat this as directional rather than conclusive. Pricing is indicated at a mid-range level; specific session fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly.
Prospective clients typically begin with a first consultation to discuss presenting concerns, whether that is anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, or life transitions. It is worth asking whether an intake form is completed before the session, what the cancellation policy is, and whether the practice offers individual, couples, or family counselling. Some clients benefit from a short-term goal-focused approach whilst others require longer-term support — clarifying this expectation early helps both sides assess fit. Red Balloon Therapy can be reached via WhatsApp, phone, or an online enquiry form.
To take the next step, contact Red Balloon Therapy through WhatsApp or the enquiry form to ask about availability, session format, and fees before booking your first appointment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
We are glad to have Artplay by Red Balloon Therapy in Little Olive Tree P51! They have provide a lot of creativity ways for the children to be engaged during art session. They did many art pieces that were 3D too! Through the sessions, the children discussed how they would like the art pieces to be, and the choose the colours they would like to you. Lots of conversation and interactions happening! Kudos Artplay!
We have engaged Red Balloon to conduct our weekly enrichment classes for children aged 4–6 years. The children had a wonderful time with their teacher, Cheryl, creating both 2D and 3D art pieces! Each week, the children will have the opportunity to explore different art materials and techniques, allowing them to create artworks that are meaningful and uniquely their own! :)
Not many art therapist has that special touch with children. Wan Ting is one of them. She is caring and does not make the child feel judged or uncomfortable. Over 2 years, I can see my child growing more assured, more independent and able to focus. I only wished I had found her earlier. As a parent, I also feel supported by her as I don’t feel I have to walk through the challenges alone. Thank you Wan Ting. May your work continue to touch lives.
Wan Ting is an incredibly supportive presence for both my son and me. She is always readily available to answer my questions, providing professional and insightful guidance. I appreciate her flexibility in offering initial sessions online, allowing my son to feel comfortable before in-person meetings. Furthermore, she skillfully calibrates each session to best suit my son's current level of openness and engagement.
We hired Wan Ting to conduct a 2-part workshop for our preschool teachers - Supporting children with ASD through Art. Our teachers and principals had very good feedback of Wan Ting and her programme as she is a practitioner by training. She shared authentically and provided relevant examples to aid the teachers. One important point was that she reminded all of us to also be aware of our emotional and mental state before going into class as it sets the tone and precedence for the day! We will highly recommend Wan Ting!

Singapore counselling rates typically run S$80–200 per 50-minute individual session for private practitioners, with couples sessions often at a higher rate. First consultations may be priced differently from ongoing sessions. Ask whether packages of multiple sessions are available at a reduced rate, and confirm the cancellation and no-show policy before committing. Some group programmes are priced on a per-term basis rather than per session. See the full counselling cost guide for Singapore →
Most counselling practices in Singapore do not require a GP referral for a private booking, though having one can support insurance claims under certain Integrated Shield plans or employee assistance programmes. It is worth checking with your insurer before your first session. Your first visit will typically involve an intake conversation covering your presenting concerns, relevant background, and what you hope to achieve. Come prepared to discuss the duration and intensity of your difficulties. If your concerns involve clinical-level symptoms — such as suicidal ideation, psychosis, or eating disorders — the practitioner may refer you to a psychiatrist or psychologist alongside counselling support. Confirm what documentation, if any, is needed at the first appointment when you make your booking.
Counselling in Singapore is not yet a statutorily regulated profession — there is no single mandatory government licence equivalent to, say, AHPC registration for physiotherapists. The key voluntary credentialling bodies are the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) and the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS). Practitioners with SAC Registered Counsellor status or SPS Chartered Psychologist status have met defined training and supervised practice hours. No regulatory licences are listed for Red Balloon Therapy in the current KakiList data. Before booking, ask directly for the lead practitioner's professional membership, qualification level (diploma, degree, or masters in counselling or psychology), and years of supervised practice. Confirm whether the practitioner carries professional indemnity insurance, which is standard for reputable private practitioners. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
