When engaging a maid agency, the typical journey begins with clarifying whether you need a new-hire helper or a transfer helper, as placement fees differ — new hires typically run S$1,500–3,500, while transfers are generally S$500–1,500. Beyond the placement fee, households should budget for the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary if the household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Confirm what is bundled into the agency's package — mandatory FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application — versus what is billed separately. Source-country options typically include Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka, each with differing salary norms and skill profiles.
Contact Regent Maid Agency Pte Ltd via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to discuss your household's requirements, confirm the current EA Licence status, and request a full written breakdown of all fees before paying any deposit.

Was referred by a friend who introduced the agency to me. We are thankful to the agent Jing Hong for him patience and understanding throughout the entire process. He listened to our requirements, provided thoughtful recommendations, and never pressured us into making decisions. Even when we had hesitation or additional requests, he remained responsive and provided us with useful guidance. His willingness to go the extra mile truly stood out, and we felt well-supported at every stage. So far, the fresh helper we hired has been very helpful. It is clear that the training centre has trained her well, as she is able to carry out the tasks efficiently.
Really disappointed with Regent Maid Agency. Communication was a big problem from the start — messages were often ignored, and when I finally got a reply, the information was incomplete or inconsistent. It felt like I had to chase them for every little update. They also did not take my requirements seriously. I explained clearly the kind of helper I needed, but the candidate they sent over was completely different from what we discussed. On top of that, several hidden charges were only revealed at the last stage, which made the whole experience feel very dishonest. When I raised these issues, the staff showed no sense of responsibility and just kept pushing me to confirm quickly. I honestly expected a lot more professionalism, especially since this is not a small expense. Service was really poor, and I wouldn’t recommend this agency to anyone.
This is a long overdue review. Regent maid agency has been very helpful. My mums helper is with her for 1.5yrs. From the 1st replacement, they have been very helpful and until now, when I need advices, Alexis from Regent has been very kind and helpful. never once she didn't reply to my queries. I would definitely recommend Regent maid agency to my friends(which I did!) Keep up the good work!!
Regent Maid Agency has not only been helpful but also extends exceptional hospitality by promptly addressing our inquiries whenever needed. Patrick provided us with a wide variety of helpers who align with our family’s needs, ensuring we found the right fit. Beyond that, he offered valuable insights on how to onboard our helper efficiently, cutting down our waiting time significantly. What truly stood out was Patrick’s genuine effort to understand our concerns and tailor his recommendations accordingly. His professionalism, patience, and dedication made the entire process smooth and manageable. It has been a pleasure working with him, and we are incredibly grateful for all his support.
Deeply disappointed with the experience in hiring the second helper from the agency. Be careful if you are hiring helper for infants and prepare doing due diligence yourself as the agency failed in our case.

The placement fee for a new-hire helper typically runs S$1,500–3,500, while a transfer helper (already in Singapore on a current Work Permit) is generally S$500–1,500. On top of the placement fee, you will pay the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy of S$300, or S$60 at the concessionary rate if your household has a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability. Confirm what Regent's package bundles in — mandatory FDW insurance (~S$300–600/year), the Settling-In Programme, pre-deployment medical examination, and Work Permit application — versus what is charged separately. Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold an MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is publicly verifiable by name or licence number on MOM's online EA directory. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. No licence number is currently listed on this KakiList profile, so you should verify Regent Maid Agency Pte Ltd's licence directly on the MOM directory before engaging them. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; agencies rated A+ or A have stronger compliance records and better complaint-handling histories. Hiring through an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if a helper absconds or the agency closes, and can void your FDW insurance. Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
Standard replacement guarantees in the Singapore market run for approximately six months from the helper's arrival date, with one or two replacements included. Confirm precisely how many replacements are covered, what circumstances void the guarantee — for instance, documented incompatibility versus a change of mind — and what the cost is for additional replacements beyond the covered number. Also clarify the early-termination process. If a placement breaks down outside the guarantee window, the household bears the cost of the repatriation flight, unused levy refund administration, and Work Permit cancellation paperwork. Understanding these terms before signing protects you from unexpected expenses if the arrangement does not work out. Ask Regent Maid Agency Pte Ltd for all replacement and termination terms in writing before committing.
