The journey of finding the right reno company was tough. Thankfully, we came across Renodiction on Tik Tok and decided to check them out. ID Malik was assigned to us and from the moment he came over for a discussion, we knew this was the right one. The whole process was a smooth one. Malik was super responsive and made sure that timeline was followed closely. Regular updates were given. I am going to be blunt and straightforward, even if it may pinch some people a little. When I first started looking for a renovation contractor, I had certain assumptions about renovation companies and their owners. So you might think this review is going to be negative — but actually it is the complete opposite. This is about the excellent service provided by Renodiction and our interior designer Malik Chong. To be honest, at the beginning I had some hesitation. The owner of the company is from a minority background. Never in my life i have engaged like that and the ones popular are mostly from the majority. So naturally you would be like huh, hmmm should I. I realised later that my own assumptions were completely unnecessary because the level of professionalism and service they provided proved everything. The pricing was reasonable, the communication was clear, and the customer service was excellent. My “Prime Minister” (my wife) gave the green light after speaking with Malik, and from that moment the renovation journey became smooth and stress-free. What impressed me most was how Malik treated the project like it was his own home. He even took the effort to ask my children for their opinions, negotiating with me on their behalf over simple things like the colour of their rooms. For the kitchen, every small detail was carefully done according to what my wife wanted. Frankly speaking, I have never experienced such a stress-free renovation before. Throughout the renovation, Malik kept us updated daily. We would receive videos, photos, and explanations of the work completed so we always knew what was happening on site. That level of transparency really built trust. More importantly, he worked with honesty and conscience. If he felt we were overdoing something or spending unnecessarily, he would advise us and guide us back to the right decision instead of simply charging more. To me, this reflects the culture of Renodiction’s management. Of course every company needs to earn, but they clearly believe in doing business without stretching the client’s pocket unnecessarily. If you are looking for a renovation company that values honesty, transparency, and genuine service, I strongly recommend Renodiction and Malik Chong.
