About Restoring Peace Counselling & Consultancy

Restoring Peace Counselling & Consultancy is a counselling practice based at Sim Lim Tower, Jalan Besar, offering services islandwide. The practice is KakiList-verified and holds a 5/5 rating across 23 Google reviews — a moderate sample that suggests consistent client satisfaction, though prospective clients should read individual reviews for context. Prospective clients typically begin with an initial consultation to discuss their presenting concern — whether that is anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, or workplace stress — along with their goals for counselling. The practice operates from multiple suites within the same building (#12-06, #12-09, and #09-09), so it is worth confirming which room your appointment is assigned to when booking. Sessions can be arranged via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form. It is advisable to ask about session format (individual, couples, family, or group), frequency, session length, and whether telehealth or in-person options are available.

To take the next step, reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the contact form to enquire about availability, the counsellor's background and approach, and session fees — and request an initial consultation to assess whether the therapeutic fit meets your needs.

After seeing a couple of therapists, I am glad I found Rose. She is truly trauma-informed and has helped me sit with many difficult instances. She works gently and creatively - walking through different modalities and helping you slow down to really process the past. If you're looking for deep work (beyond CBT), reach out to Rose and you will not regret it.

I met Rose as a teenager and she has been my counsellor for close to 10 years. I truly attribute a large part of my growth and healing to her compassionate, trauma-informed approach and professional commitment to her clients. I'm really grateful that our paths crossed all those years ago. I wouldn't be who I am today without her. It's also been very heartening to watch Restoring Peace grow into the practice it is today.

I recently turned 30, and looking back, I honestly don’t think I would have made it this far without Rose. She’s been kind, patient, and understanding through my toughest years, and I’m so grateful for her guidance. Life isn’t always easy, but the tools and mindset I’ve learned from her have helped me find peace and hope again. I’m in such a better place now, and I’ll always be thankful for her support. ❤️

Rose was the first counsellor I truly felt safe and comfortable enough with to share things I couldn’t with other therapists, even after months of therapy with them. She is a caring, compassionate, and highly skilled counsellor, experienced in key therapeutic approaches for treating trauma and shifting negative beliefs. I found EMDR, working with parts, and somatic therapy particularly helpful in addressing my difficulties. Each session helped me process the emotional pain I’d been carrying and I started noticing positive changes in how I feel. Healing from past trauma and learning how to regulate my emotions, especially anxiety, helped me regain a sense of control and confidence in myself — like I could finally start moving forward with my life again. Rose also supported me in improving my relationship with my husband. My only regret is not finding her sooner, it would’ve saved me so much time and pain. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs real help, especially those who have lost hope and think therapy doesn’t work (I’ve been there myself).

Thankful to be able to meet Rose as my therapist and counsellor. She has helped me greatly with my sessions when I was going through a tough time managing my emotions and my past hurts / trauma. Her techniques helped me greatly in learning to be aware of my body and also managing my emotions. She has helped me to de-escalate the overwhelming thoughts and emotions when I share my story. Really appreciate and thankful for the sessions and her time and patience. God bless you Rose.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Restoring Peace Counselling & Consultancy charge per session?

Restoring Peace Counselling & Consultancy is positioned at the mid-range ($$) tier, but specific per-session fees are not publicly listed. Singapore counselling sessions typically run S$80–200 per hour for private practice, with initial assessments sometimes priced differently from follow-up sessions. Some practices offer package rates for multiple sessions booked together, which can reduce the per-session cost. Confirm the session fee, cancellation and no-show policy, and whether any package options are available before your first appointment. Ask whether receipts are issued in a format accepted by your insurer if you plan to make a claim. See the full counselling cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

No formal referral is required to book with a private counselling practice in Singapore — you can enquire directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form. Most counsellors conduct a brief intake or first-session assessment to understand your presenting concern, background, and goals before agreeing on a therapeutic direction. If you have a complex clinical condition such as a diagnosed psychiatric disorder, it is worth mentioning this at the outset so the counsellor can confirm they have the relevant experience or refer you to a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist if more intensive support is needed. A GP referral is not required but can assist with insurance claims under some integrated shield plans or employer wellness benefits — check your policy before your first session.

Is the practitioner at Restoring Peace Counselling & Consultancy licensed?

Counselling in Singapore is not yet a statutorily regulated profession in the way that physiotherapy or TCM is, meaning there is no single mandatory government licence. However, credible counsellors typically hold membership with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) or are registered with the Singapore Register of Counsellors (SRC), both of which require recognised qualifications and adherence to a code of ethics. Clinical psychologists are registered with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) and, if they provide clinical services, with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC). No regulatory licence is currently listed for Restoring Peace Counselling & Consultancy on this profile. Before booking, ask directly for the counsellor's qualifications, professional membership body and membership number, and years of practice — and verify membership on the relevant body's public directory. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
