About Robert Catering Services

About Robert Catering Services

Robert Catering Services provides meal delivery for seniors across Singapore, operating from its Kaki Bukit premises. The business is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It holds a 3.9/5 rating across 67 Google reviews, a moderate sample that gives a reasonable directional signal of customer experience.

Families arranging meals for an elderly relative will want to confirm several practical details at the outset: the range of dietary options available (soft or blended meals for those with swallowing difficulties, low-sodium or diabetic-friendly menus, halal or other dietary requirements), delivery frequency and time windows, minimum order commitments, and whether packaging is suitable for reheating independently. It is also worth clarifying whether a care assessment or consultation is offered to tailor the meal plan to the senior's nutritional and medical needs, and how substitutions are handled when a preferred dish is unavailable.

To get started, contact Robert Catering Services by phone or via the enquiry form to discuss your relative's dietary requirements, delivery address, and preferred schedule.

Please don’t order from this caterer 1. Portion is small. I ordered for 40 and there’s not enough food. My guest is not full and some didn’t even dare to eat. Most of them didn’t even get a second round. For example, they gave 18L of apple juice for 40 pax. If you do a quick search on ChatGPT, it says that 18L is too little. The rice also if I section, only enough for 35 pax (pls see photo). I had to order more food in. 2. The log cake was supposed to be based on 40 pax (see picture). The cake is so small that I have to cut half. No plates and fork provided for the log cake. 3. Not enough cutleries and utensils provided. Should have provided more tissue paper, plates, cups and fork for the dessert. I had to buy more fork and plates 4. Service recovery is terrible. Robin told me that my guests have huge appetite and the food was too good. That’s why not enough portion. The phone call was just explaining that they are very experienced and know the portion to cater. They claimed to cater more than 40 pax. I told them that no matter what they say, it’s a fact that there is not enough but nothing was done. Then I shared that was I going to leave a bad review and he said ,”ok, go ahead” Update: Robin called again the next day and repeated the same thing. They said that they are in the caterer industry for decades and know how much to cater. Then they said that my guests had huge appetite. They were just pushing their responsibility away and not giving any compensation. What’s the point of calling if you are going to repeat the same thing? Sad to say, I won’t recommend due to portion. Order at your own risk if you want your guest to be hungry.

The beehoon and pineapple rice is not bad . Portion is little . Delivery guy is friendly . But the person that pick up the collection is abit blur has mentioned I have my own tong and ladle and I have put one side and they acknowledge and saw it . Ended still took my ladle and tong back ?… angry Suppose to collect back at 9.30pm but reached 9pm ? nevertheless they give you time to pack up ur food if you want to . Overall not too bad . {Ordered from FoodLine.sg for 24 Nov 2025}

Honestly didn't have much expectations, but the food impressed! The fried rice was really good and the tofu dish was very tasty as well, but the best was the chicken curry. It was thick and very lemak, just the way I love it! We were 10 pax, and we completely finished the veggies, prawns, tofu and fish. Would absolutely love to order with Roberts again in future if the standard is consistent. {Ordered from FoodLine.sg for 28 Dec 2025} foodline

Food was up to expectation for the reasonable price. The mini buffet came with sufficient serving spoons and ladles, trash bags and cutlery. Food arrived on time. {Ordered from FoodLine.sg for 25 Oct 2025}

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Robert Catering Services charge?

Robert Catering Services has not published detailed pricing publicly. For meal delivery services targeting seniors in Singapore, costs typically vary by number of meals per day, portion size, dietary complexity (standard vs soft/blended vs medically tailored), and delivery frequency. When you enquire, confirm the per-meal or daily rate, whether there is a minimum order or subscription commitment, any delivery surcharge for your address, and whether packaging, reheating containers, or cutlery are included. Ask whether a trial period or shorter initial commitment is available before locking into a longer arrangement. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →

Does Robert Catering Services offer live-in or visit-based care, or is it purely meal delivery?

Robert Catering Services is listed specifically as a meal delivery provider for seniors rather than a care or companionship service. This means the scope is limited to food preparation and delivery — it does not appear to include personal care, medication management, or caregiver visits. Families who need broader support alongside meal delivery — such as home nursing, befriender visits, or physiotherapy — should coordinate with separate AIC-registered home care providers. Confirm with Robert Catering Services exactly what the delivery service covers, including whether a staff member enters the home or simply delivers to the door, and what happens if a delivery is missed or the senior is unwell.

Is the food prepared safely and are any licences held?

Robert Catering Services is ACRA-registered and KakiList-verified. However, no regulatory licences — such as an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence — are currently listed for this provider. For any food preparation and delivery business serving vulnerable seniors, an SFA licence with a published hygiene grade is an important safety indicator. Before committing to a plan, ask Robert Catering Services to confirm their SFA licence number and hygiene grade, whether the kitchen is inspected regularly, and how food is kept at safe temperatures during delivery. If halal meals are required, ask for the MUIS certification. Insist on a trial delivery to assess food quality, portion size, and punctuality before signing any ongoing arrangement.
