Clients typically begin with an initial consultation to discuss their presenting concern — whether that is anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, work-related stress, or another personal challenge. At that first session, the counsellor will assess your goals, explain the therapeutic approach, and agree on a cadence of sessions that fits your schedule and budget. SACAC Counselling can be reached by phone or via the enquiry form to arrange an appointment.
To take the next step, contact SACAC Counselling by phone or through the online form to book an initial consultation and confirm session fees, availability, and the credentials of the practitioner who will be working with you.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
I worked with Marlot during a challenging period, and she helped me reframe situations and find clear, practical ways forward. Her patience, empathy, and the thoughtful tools she shares made a real difference. She’s a true gem, and the company would be lucky to have more counselors like her.
I had an absolutely positive experience with SACAC Counselling. Claudio is a great therapist and a genuinely kind & decent human being! His serene disposition made me feel incredibly comfortable to open up and talk about my situation freely and with complete honesty. The best part is that he is so unassuming and modest that he never took credit for my progress, and yet, he often came up with these golden nuggets of perspective and advice when I least expected it. Grazie mille, Claudio! The centre itself is modern yet tranquil, and the counselling rooms are comfortable without being distracting - A really conducive environment!
The therapists are great, not so much for the admin staff. For a counselling centre, they lack empathy, acumen and can’t even do basic things like make the people waiting feel comfortable. Just a bunch of admin people sitting around and occupying themselves with busywork.
Found the whole experience ineffective and impotent at even starting to chip away at any mentioned issue. Therapist promised to follow up with additional material post session via email but never got to it. He mentioned it again the following session that he would and never did. I decided not to pursue it further. If you can’t even trust the therapist to promptly provide additional reading resources to complement the in-person sessions, I’m not sure if there’s even a concerted effort to reinforce a new pattern of behaviour/thinking. During one of the sessions, I also received feedback that my grieving timeline is a lot longer than usual. Well, not sure how that’s helpful if I tried everything myself before asking for help. I didn’t come here to feel worse about things. Better off writing in a journal for free if not taking your time and money elsewhere! If all else fails, let time do its magic!
I had a positive experience with SACAC, and I really appreciated Joyce's support. Her guidance was crucial in navigating challenges, and she offered valuable insights during our sessions. SACAC provides excellent counselling services, and Joyce's expertise made a significant impact on my journey. Thanks so much!

SACAC Counselling does not publish a fixed rate on this listing. Singapore market norms for private counselling typically run S$100–250 per 50-minute session for individual therapy, with couples or family sessions often priced higher. Many practices offer a package rate if you commit to a block of sessions, which can reduce the per-session cost. Ask at your first contact whether an initial consultation carries a separate fee, whether a sliding-scale or subsidised rate is available, and what the cancellation or no-show policy is. Some employee assistance programmes (EAPs) and insurance policies cover counselling — check your plan before paying out of pocket. See the full counselling cost guide for Singapore →
A GP referral is not required to book a private counselling session, though having one can help with insurance reimbursement claims and gives the counsellor useful background on any related medical history. At a first visit you will typically complete an intake form covering your presenting concern, relevant personal history, and any current medication before meeting the practitioner. If your situation involves a diagnosed mental health condition, medication management, or risk of harm, the counsellor may recommend a concurrent referral to a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist. Confirm at the time of booking whether the practice works with complex presentations or refers those cases elsewhere.
Singapore does not yet have a statutory licence for counsellors equivalent to the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) register used for physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Reputable counsellors typically hold a postgraduate qualification in counselling or psychology and are registered with a voluntary professional body such as the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) or the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS). Before booking, ask directly for the lead practitioner's qualifications, professional body membership, and years of clinical experience. If your concern overlaps with a mental health diagnosis, confirm whether the practitioner holds a clinical psychology credential or works alongside one. No regulatory licences have been confirmed for SACAC Counselling on this listing. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
