About Scott Psychological Centre
Scott Psychological Centre is a counselling practice based at 360 Orchard Road in the International Building, serving clients islandwide. It is verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. The practice holds a 4.2 out of 5 rating across 20 Google reviews — a moderate sample that offers a reasonable directional signal. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range tier; specific session fees were not provided and should be confirmed directly.
Clients typically begin with a first consultation, during which the practitioner conducts an intake assessment to understand the presenting concern — whether that is anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, or workplace stress — and establishes goals for ongoing work. It is worth asking whether the initial session carries a different fee from subsequent sessions, what the cancellation and rescheduling policy is, and whether the practice works with insured clients or can provide documentation for employer mental health benefit claims. Sessions may be offered individually, as couples, or in family configurations depending on the presenting need.
To take the next step, contact Scott Psychological Centre by phone or via the enquiry form on their listing to ask about current availability, session format, and fee structure before booking your first appointment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
I would recommend anyone looking for help - highly professional therapist Rebecca Wright. She helped me during the worst time of my life when I felt broken and my world was ruined. We worked with war trauma, anxiety, and depression. I am from Ukraine and Rebecca has offered me free volunteer help in a very hard time for me. She works in a very kind and polite way. I had a feeling that I was talking to my friend, so kind she could deal with such huge mental problems. We are still working to keep my mental health in balance during the war in Ukraine. I would be grateful to Rebecca forever!
Rebecca did a fantastic job and changed my life. She is competent, charming, congenial and convincing. She provided me with additional reading material (philosophical and practical); result: no more procrastination, far better sleeping and so many happy moments - and most important: my fast thinking and sense of humour are back!
Rebecca came recommended to me by one of the best neuropsychiatrists in the field, when I was dealing with anxieties and trauma's from the past. At the time I was but a shadow of the man I used to be, but Rebecca managed to get me back on track to return to who I want to be. She is truly one of the best out there, and a truly lovely person to talk to as well. I literally felt a better man every time I left the room. I don't usually open up easily to people, but she made it feel like natural. I highly recommend her, and the team at SPC. If I hadn't left Singapore I'd still be going there!
Rebecca Wright helped me hugely when I was struggling with a number of issues. I connected with her immediately and got a lot out of our sessions. She is extremely professional, with a kind, gentle nature. I would highly recommend Rebecca to anyone looking to start therapy. Thank you Rebecca!!
I consulted with Rebecca during a critical phase of my life, 6 months of chemotherapy treatment. Through her kind and compassionate listening, she helped me focus the little energy I had left on positive aspects of my situation. This allowed me, through mindfulness and self-compassion, to expand my creativity and productivity that led to the publication of a book. This would not have been possible without Rebecca’s very effective support.

Scott Psychological Centre does not publish a specific session rate on its listing, so fees should be confirmed directly before booking. As a general guide, individual counselling sessions in Singapore typically range from S$100 to S$250 per 50-minute session at private practices, with the first consultation sometimes priced differently. Some practices offer package rates for a fixed number of sessions, which can reduce the per-session cost. Confirm whether a no-show or late-cancellation fee applies, as most counselling practices require 24 to 48 hours' notice. Ask also whether the practice issues receipts in a format accepted by your insurer or employer wellness benefit scheme. See the full counselling cost guide for Singapore →
A GP or specialist referral is not required to book an appointment at most private counselling practices, including Scott Psychological Centre. You can contact them directly by phone or form. The first session typically involves a structured intake conversation covering your presenting concerns, relevant background, and what you are hoping to achieve, rather than a clinical assessment in the medical sense. That said, a GP referral can be useful if you intend to claim under an integrated shield plan or corporate health insurance, as some insurers require a referral to process mental health benefits. If you are dealing with a complex condition such as a diagnosed mood disorder or trauma history, mentioning this when you enquire allows the practice to confirm whether their counsellors have relevant experience before you commit.
Counselling in Singapore is not yet a statutorily regulated profession in the same way as physiotherapy or TCM, meaning there is no single mandatory government licence for all counsellors. However, credible practitioners typically hold membership with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) or the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), which require recognised qualifications and adherence to ethical codes. Psychologists providing assessment and therapy services should be registered with the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP) under the SPS. Scott Psychological Centre does not list specific licences or professional memberships in the current data. Before booking, ask directly about the lead practitioner's qualifications, professional body membership, and whether they hold a practising certificate — this is standard due diligence for any mental health engagement. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
