We chose Spacious Planners because of our ID Jeannie. We had decided to have a major renovation done for our current home, and went to Jeannie to help us with space planning for our family of 5. Jeannie and Chia Chia were both attentive to each and every family member's needs and requests. They made a house visit to take note of what we needed, and also had conversations with us to find out what we wanted in our various personal spaces. We were quite ready to start renovations according to the first design as it fit most of our requirements. Our final house design looks very close to the first designs with a few changes. From the day they took over the house to the handover day, Jeannie kept us appraised with the work progress and kept us updated at every step of the way. Even with the surprise changes that had to be made, they presented to us solutions that suits our needs. Considering that it was an overhaul of the house, the time taken by Jeannie and her team was about 2.5 months. They delivered earlier than expected. We highly recommend Spacious Planners to anyone looking to renovating their place. In fact, we have sent some of our friends Jeannie's contact. Friends and family alike both find it amazing that they managed to plan so much more space than what we had before the renovation. Thank you Jeannie & Chia Chia for the many hours that went into the discussions, designing and co-ordination for the renovation of the house.

I owe Sze Leng an apology for my late posting. Sze Leng was recommended by my ex-boss, and we decided to engage her for the renovation of our whole house in 2023. There are a few things I truly appreciate about working with her: - Design: Her style was modern, elegant, yet very practical. I had a few ideas in mind, but she always asked about the purpose and whether the design would remain relevant in years to come. - Price: Very reasonable. I asked around for several quotations, and trust me—you really get your money’s worth with SP. - Project & time management: This was the most critical factor. Because of the renovation, we had to move out and rent a place. Our rental apartment was only available for a maximum of three months, with no extension possible. Sze Leng completed the renovation in just 2.5 months, with only minor touch-ups needed afterward. I would definitely recommend Sze Leng to anyone who values quality and punctuality in renovation projects. Recently (Oct 2025), I engaged Sze Leng again to build customised bookshelves for the children’s rooms. The cabinets were completed in less than a month after we finalized the design!

We engaged Spacious Planner last quarter for quite an extensive renovation of our home. An ID and PM were assigned to us. The project went well. We received good recommendations from both and the project was completed with minimal challenges. Would be better if we spend more time during the design phase. However, they managed our expectations well, only that the project took longer than we wish. We would recommend them to others as we were pleased with the outcome generally. After almost 2 years of renovation with them, I found many defects like cracked wall tiles and electrical issue. Despite call & text, though was responsive but not helpful and seems kind of not interested. Even during the reno, we have to inspect their work, caught a few incidents on improper installation. Never in mymind that we as clients need to do project management for them. The recommended supplier was dishonest about one of the lighting prices as it's almost doubled of other supplier, my mistake is to fully trust their recommendation. My toilet bowl was changed as it does not has what we requested and was last minute, now everytime i see this toilet bowl I think of their recommendation. Engage then means you better monitor their works & quotation. 23Oct - here's some issues & for you to reach out to me. 4Nov - Found the tripping caused by faulty oven and not electrical fault, solved. Sealant completed, but still never cleaned properly Tiles replaced. Over charging not solved Toilet bowl not solved. Overall my comment since after completion is SP is good at design but failed to ensure site compatibility, good at finishing work fast but failed to ensure work are done properly, tiling guy changed in the middle of the project caused unequal workmanship, poor or no project manager on site to ensure work are carry out proper and quality workmanship, as owner you better monitor yourself and be presence at site. SP good at promises but failed at living up to them. Saved money on clearing rubbish, the whole house was filled with rubbish for the reno, have to wait till no place tob walk then cleared. 21Dec With regards to your 3 points 1. Supplier Pricing We trusted your ID in his recommendation, only when found out that the pricing was much higher than other shop & even online. The explanation was ridiculous and thought we're naive and don't understand. I let it go as we've other purchases which is much larger than the smart lighting. Also your supplier is related to the ID, which give me doubt if the costing given is standard market price. Some additional background info that we changed to this supplier from the previous by your ID recommendation. 2. Toilet Bowl Change When we confirmed during the selection for a wall hung tornado flush, there wasn't any comments it wasn't available. The payment was made full and it seems everything was OK, over $10k was bought from this same supplier as above. Only during installation, we were told there wasn't any available tornado flush model. We got no choice but to accept the replacement, only to found out that it was not working properly. Why last minute? Trusted you with our requirements and make full payment based on our requirements and yet changed last minute, why? 3. Workmanship & site management Is our renovation too simple or not worthy to ensure it's done properly? There's no proper management and upkeeping of the place was messy due to uncleared rubbish every where, the reason was to save cost and cleaned at 1 go rather than everyday. No doubt it's not possible for the ID to be at site full day but no clear instructions was given to the workers, since we were there most of the time and caught non-compliance installation which is different from our requirements. Fortunately we are there to inform your contractors our requirements to avoid any further wrong installation. Your ID didn't perform a proper job as he's not around most of the time and keep changing workers on electrical, plumbing, tiling & carpentary. If everything is done properly and monitor. we won't asked your to rectify. How you managed or reinforced your future works is none of my business, you being in this business for so many years can still make the same common mistakes in any projects. I'm not sure what else will breaks or cracks in future, but it's certain that I got no other choice but to contact you again. I'm being reminded of your poor workmanship everytime I flushed my toilet.

ID Sze Ling gave good recommendations on the colours to use for the painting of our house. Her advice on the type of lights and design of toilet table top with cupboards turned out nicely. The planning of the renovation works and timelines to complete were properly executed. My wife and I are pleased with the final look after the renovation.
