About St Regis Singapore

About St Regis Singapore

St Regis Singapore is a venue rental provider located at 29 Tanglin Road, offering event spaces for functions ranging from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations. The property is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. With a 4.5-star rating across 3,987 Google reviews, the venue carries a robust and reliable sample of guest feedback. Specific package pricing is not publicly listed and should be requested directly.

Enquiries typically begin by contacting the events team via phone or the online enquiry form to discuss the event date, format, and estimated headcount. Capacity varies significantly by layout — a standing cocktail reception accommodates roughly 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated figure, while theatre seating sits between the two. It is worth confirming whether food and beverage is managed in-house or whether external caterers are permitted, along with any corkage arrangements and whether the venue maintains an approved-caterer list. Key logistical details to clarify include audio-visual provision (PA system, projector, screen, microphones), aircon hours, noise curfew, parking availability, setup and teardown access windows outside the rented period, and lift and ramp accessibility for guests with mobility needs. For wedding solemnisations, confirm whether the venue holds registered ROM solemnisation status or whether a Justice of the Peace must be arranged separately.

To move forward, contact St Regis Singapore directly by phone or via the enquiry form to request a site visit, discuss your event format and headcount, and obtain a detailed package proposal with all inclusions, exclusions, and booking terms in writing before paying any deposit.

My recent stay at The St. Regis Singapore was extremely disappointing and far below the standard expected from a luxury five-star hotel. Firstly, early in the morning there was construction or renovation work taking place inside the hotel. Guests were not informed in advance, and the loud noise woke us up unexpectedly. For a hotel of this level, failing to notify guests about renovation work is very unprofessional and shows a lack of consideration for guest comfort. Secondly, at around 8:30 AM, housekeeping rang our doorbell asking whether we needed room cleaning, even though the housekeeping indicator light was clearly not turned on. This was unnecessary and intrusive, especially at such an early hour when guests are normally still resting. Another serious issue involved the laundry service. We did not receive our laundry, yet the staff initially insisted that the clothes had already been delivered and collected. Only after several hours did they finally bring our clothes to the room. This reflects poor communication and service management within the hotel. Most concerning, however, were the serious privacy and safety issues during our stay. On several occasions, hotel staff used their key cards to enter our room without ringing the doorbell or notifying us in advance, even while we were inside the room. This was extremely shocking and made us feel very uncomfortable. Entering a guest room without proper notification is a serious breach of privacy and raises significant safety concerns. Guests should feel safe and respected in their own hotel room, but unfortunately this basic expectation was not met. For a brand such as St. Regis, guests expect professionalism, respect for privacy, and a high level of service. Sadly, this stay showed the opposite. The hotel management seriously needs to review its operational procedures and staff training. Overall, this experience was highly disappointing and completely inconsistent with the reputation and price level of a luxury hotel like St. Regis. This is absolutely unacceptable for a hotel under the St. Regis brand.

Very good service! Rooms were nice and clean, toilet amenities were top notch. Kumar (butler) served us our welcome drinks and was extremely helpful and kind to us throughout our entire stay. Kumar is very knowledgeable about the history of St Regis and even went on to explain the details to us. Very cool. At 630PM they open a bottle of champagne with a knife, very nice! The room service food was amazing, I love the salmon. I think about it everyday, I will want to eat it again. The gym is well equipped, they have a cool machine that can analyse your body, fat percentage, muscle mass. However I was a little upset that the staff do not really know what is going on, so they told us that Sophia opens at 630pm for dinner and we can just come down from our room and dine in. They did not inform us that you HAVE to make a booking otherwise there wouldn’t be any tables for you. We checked in around 3PM or so and waited till 630pm, went down, and they told us they had no tables and we had to wait till 830pm for an available table. By that time we didn’t eat for the entire day so we were upset and didn’t want to wait another 2 hours, which was why we had to order room service. Hopefully the staff can be more mindful and let us know? If we had known we would have booked the table at 3PM immediately. Other than that, the hotel is lovely, rooms are so comfortable, the pillows and bed are so soft. Toilet is amazing as well! The breakfast was super tasty too.

We stayed at the St Regis Suite to celebrate our son’s birthday and the butler service was truly excellent. The staff were all very friendly and polite, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Sarah for the wonderful surprise — it meant so much to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again.

Location was nice, bit of walk from the train station but the bus is right infront to Orchard Road. Direct bus to the airport as well which is a plus. Service was excellent and breakfast was amazing. Bed was comfortable and everyday Good Night Tea in room. We didn't have time to dine in at the restaurant yet but got recommended by Front Office Staff that it is a Michelin star venue. Definitely will revisit again in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does St Regis Singapore charge?

St Regis Singapore does not publish a standard rate card publicly, so pricing should be requested directly from the events team. As a guide, Singapore function rooms typically run S$100–500 per hour, while ballroom-scale spaces range from S$300–1,500 or more per hour, often structured as per-event packages from S$1,500–8,000+ for smaller venues and S$8,000–30,000+ for full-day ballroom bookings. Confirm what is included in any quoted package — aircon hours, basic audio-visual equipment, on-site staff, and cleaning. Add-ons to budget for include external-caterer corkage (typically S$3–8 per pax), liquor corkage if bringing your own, extended-hours surcharges, and photography or videography permits. A setup and teardown access window outside the rented hours is standard but must be confirmed in writing. See the full Venue Rental cost guide for Singapore →

What capacity and F&B policy does St Regis Singapore have?

Capacity varies by event format — standing cocktail typically accommodates 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated number, with theatre seating falling between the two. Contact the events team directly to obtain the floor plan and specific capacity figures for your preferred space and layout. For food and beverage, luxury hotel venues of this calibre commonly operate with in-house catering as the primary option, often with a minimum spend per pax replacing or supplementing the hall rental. Confirm whether external caterers are permitted, whether a corkage fee applies to BYO food or beverages, and whether the venue maintains an approved-caterer list. For wedding solemnisations, ask whether the venue is a registered ROM solemnisation venue or whether you need to arrange a Justice of the Peace independently.

What's the booking and cancellation policy at St Regis Singapore?

A deposit — typically 30 to 50% of the total package value — is standard to secure an event date, with the balance usually due one to two weeks before the event. Popular Saturday evening slots, particularly during Singapore's wedding season in March, April, October, and November, can book out six to twelve months in advance, so early enquiry is advisable. Before paying any deposit, confirm the noise curfew (typically 10 to 11pm for venues in or near residential areas), parking arrangements, accessibility provisions including lifts and ramps, and the rescheduling policy in the event of a force-majeure situation. Reputable venues generally allow postponement within six to twelve months without forfeiting the deposit. A site recce during an active event or at a comparable time of day is recommended before committing. See the full Venue Rental cost guide for Singapore →
