The workmanship deserves a solid 5 stars, especially considering the amount of handmade and custom-made carpentry involved in the renovation. This review was written quite a few months after the completion and hand-over of the project, and so it details Stylemyspace's after-service. We engaged Brian around early May, when we decided to renovate our flat. His ideas were novel and totally outside the box, which was what led us to selecting him and his firm. To begin with, Brian was nothing short of extremely detailed and meticulous, as well as deeply pleasant to work with. We gave him a very challenging time frame of 12 weeks to deliver a huge renovation of a 4-bedroom executive apartment, and this was delivered (mostly) on time. His advice on electrical savings (buying lights across the border), laminate and paint combinations, as well as his flexibility in accommodating some of our requests (even at a late stage) was admirable. We are overall extremely satisfied. Additionally, Brian has consistently and quickly responded to our defect reports after the hand-over, quickly scheduling and sending workers to fix things (and the number of things that needed to be fixed was relatively minimal). In fact we thoroughly changed one set of windows after the renovation, and this was completed quickly as well. That being said, there is always a bit of room to improve. We were hoping for a little more input on electrical switch fittings that we hoped could be handled without our intervention. Some measurements for the carpentry turned out to be quite a bit larger than expected, with some extra tolerance that could have been more precisely measured and produced. The master bedroom carpentry layout was a little less than optimal, and there was a lot of back-and-forth especially for this room. However, barring all this, we would still strongly recommend Stylemyspace to friends and family. The result is superb, and we are happy to live in such a lovely space.

We had an excellent experience working with Brian on our home renovation. His coordination with the various parties involved was truly top-notch, ensuring everything moved smoothly from start to finish. Brian is meticulous and highly organized, providing us with a clear renovation timeline so we always knew what to expect and when to schedule our other vendors and deliveries. Throughout the process, Brian updated us promptly on the progress and even helped oversee the works while we were traveling for a week — something we were extremely grateful for. Brian’s structured approach really stood out. He produced his own detailed carpentry drawings, laid out clear electrical plans after a lengthy 6 hour discussion and consistently gave us proper explanations and heads-up before any work was carried out. As with any renovation, there were a few hiccups along the way — including a back-and-forth over the master bedroom walk-in wardrobe carpentry louvre doors that took about 1–2 weeks to fine-tune. But Brian handled everything professionally and rectified issues as quickly as possible. We also appreciate that Brian always made time for us. He answered all our questions promptly, sometimes even on weekends or late at night, truly going the extra mile to ensure we felt supported and confident in every decision. Brian’s professional advice elevated many of our ideas too. He successfully implemented our kitchen corner pantry tall cabinet idea, designed a functional tray cabinet above the oven, and even suggested lowering the hood slightly below the top cabinet line for better ergonomics and performance — all thoughtful details we now enjoy daily. When we were in the process of buying our fittings and furnitures, we often consulted Brian for his advise and ideas as to match with our home theme - lights, sofa colors, curtains, dining table tops, and the list goes on. We highly recommend Brian to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and genuinely dedicated interior designer. Our home turned out exactly as we envisioned — and even better. 🙌🏼🏡✨ Thank you, Brian!

My wife and I chose Mac and his team to help us renovate our small one bedroom space. We removed all existing built-ins and put in our own cabinetry and basically replaved everything. We were able to work closely with Mac through a handful of one-on-one meetings, taking it one step at a time. He kept closely to schedule which is so important with move-in dates. He gave us great advice but also allowed us the space to make the decisions, educating us to ensure we were fully informed. Overall, it was a very pleasant collaboration and were very pleased with the outcome.

As a first-time home owner, I was a little apprehensive about the renovation process, having heard and read about many horror stories that left people with incomplete projects or an excessively long and time-consuming renovation journey. Which is why I am pleasantly surprised and thrilled by how smoothly my renovation journey has gone with Brian and Stylemyspace. I met with Brian as part of an initial selection and shortlisting process for IDs that were recommended to me by Qanvast. Before our meeting, Stylemyspace reached out and requested that I share i) the floor plan of my unit; ii) some photos of the flat; and iii) some design styles I like. Having sent all of that in advance, I entered the initial meeting unsure of what to expect, and eventually left feeling very confident about selecting Stylemyspace for the renovation. At the first meeting itself, Brian had the flat floor plan on a big screen where he helped us do a rough planning of the space and showed us a variety of old and new projects he had done as visual cues for us to understand the concept. As such, I felt confident that he could bring my vision for my flat to life. Subsequent meetings were extremely fruitful, including a thorough review of all the cost estimates. He was upfront about the costs and only proceeded with additional items once I confirmed I was okay with them. Not once did I feel pressured to go with something I wasn’t 100% certain about, and I didn’t get any surprises in terms of hidden costs. Both the masonry and carpentry work were of high quality, and although there were a few minor issues towards the end of the project, Brian promptly assisted us in rectifying them. Moreover, Brian also accompanied us to shop for items like floor tiles, lights and bathroomware, while always being available to provide inputs during the furniture shopping process. Overall, he did an excellent job with the project and has been extremely helpful with touch-ups and other minor issues that we spotted. I am really glad that I decided to go with Brian and Stylemyspace for my renovation. Thanks to them, it was hassle-free and the project was delivered on time.
