About Suntec Convention Centre

About Suntec Convention Centre

Suntec Convention Centre is a venue rental provider located at 1 Raffles Blvd, Singapore 039593, serving clients islandwide. It is verified by KakiList and holds a 4.5/5 rating across 10,002 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides meaningful confidence in the visitor experience. Pricing is package-based, indicated at a mid-to-upper range ($$).

When enquiring about a booking, confirm the capacity figure for your specific event format — standing cocktail events typically accommodate 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated headcount, while theatre seating falls between the two. Ask whether F&B is provided in-house, whether external caterers are permitted (and whether a corkage or per-pax charge applies), and whether there is an approved-caterer list. Clarify what is included in the package: aircon hours, A/V provision (PA system, projector, screen, microphones), in-venue staff, and cleaning. Confirm the setup and teardown access windows, which are often outside the rented hours. Ask about noise curfew, parking availability, accessibility via lift or ramp, and SCDF fire-safety certification for the space. For wedding solemnisations, confirm whether the venue is a registered ROM solemnisation venue or whether a separate Justice of the Peace must be arranged.

To take the next step, contact Suntec Convention Centre by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing. Provide your event date, estimated headcount, preferred event format, and any dietary or A/V requirements so they can advise on the most suitable package and room configuration.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Singapore Ink Show 2025 – Amazing Experience! This was my first time attending the Singapore Ink Show, and it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I’m someone who usually just goes to work and home, so stepping into this event was something completely new for me. The moment I entered, the vibe, music, and energy were unreal. You can feel the passion from every artist, booth, and visitor. There were so many talented tattoo artists from around the world — each with their own unique styles and stories. Watching live tattoo sessions up close really showed the level of skill and dedication behind every piece of art. I even got to meet my god bro there who took leave just to attend, and it made the whole experience even better. The place was well organized, and the crowd was full of friendly, creative people. This event reminded me how much art can bring people together. If you love tattoos or just want to see something inspiring, I 100% recommend coming to the next Singapore Ink Show. It’s worth every minute. Can’t wait for next event! 🎟️🔥

I visited the Smart Home IT Sale exhibition at Suntec a few days ago (should be on 16 Nov 2025). I actually spent more time at the area outside the hall. Overall, I was happy with the ambience and found the booth attendants approachable and friendly. Entry was smooth, though I did experience some slight difficulty navigating my way through Suntec Mall before finally locating the venue. I managed to snag some great bargains there, and even brought home a free gift! All I had to do was take part in a simple, no-strings-attached lucky draw (check out the pic of my OSIM cleaning glove 😊). Thumbs up to the organizer and all the participating companies and their staff for making my visit such a pleasant experience. It may seem like I’m “over-appreciating” things, but some will understand why, especially after reading about my last experience at another exhibition. P/S: If the lighting in the area outside the hall could be brighter, that would make the experience even better!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Suntec Convention Centre charge?

Venue rental pricing at Suntec Convention Centre is package-based and varies by hall size, event format, and duration. As a broad Singapore market reference, function rooms typically run S$100–500 per hour with a 2–4 hour minimum, while larger convention halls and ballrooms sit at S$300–1,500+ per hour, with full-day packages ranging from S$8,000 to S$30,000 or more depending on the space. Confirm what is included in the quoted package — aircon hours, basic A/V (PA, projector, screen, microphones), in-venue staff, and cleaning — versus what is billed on top. Common add-ons include an external-caterer corkage fee (typically S$3–8 per pax), liquor corkage if bringing your own beverages, extended-hours surcharges (typically 1.5×–2× outside standard operating hours), and photography or videography permits. Contact Suntec Convention Centre directly for current package rates. See the full venue rental cost guide for Singapore →

What capacity and F&B policy does Suntec Convention Centre have?

Suntec Convention Centre offers multiple hall and meeting room configurations, so capacity varies significantly by space. As a general rule, standing cocktail formats accommodate roughly 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated headcount for the same floor area, while theatre seating falls between the two. Request a floor plan and confirm the maximum numbers for your specific format before proceeding. For F&B, confirm whether in-house catering is available, whether external caterers are permitted (with or without a corkage charge per pax), and whether there is an approved-caterer list. In-house F&B venues typically set a minimum spend per pax that replaces the hall rental fee. If you plan to serve alcohol, clarify the bar service arrangements and whether a Liquor Licence is in place. For wedding solemnisations, confirm whether the space is a registered ROM solemnisation venue or whether you need to arrange a Justice of the Peace independently.

What's the booking and cancellation policy at Suntec Convention Centre?

Standard industry practice for venue bookings requires a deposit of 30–50% of the total package value to secure the date, with the balance typically due one to two weeks before the event. Popular Saturday evenings — particularly during wedding season in March, April, October, and November — can book out six to twelve months in advance, so enquire as early as possible if your date is fixed. Before paying any deposit, conduct a site recce to confirm the space meets your requirements. Clarify the noise curfew (typically 10–11pm for venues in or adjacent to residential areas), parking availability, accessibility (lift, ramp, accessible toilets), and what happens if a force-majeure event requires postponement — reputable venues generally allow rescheduling within six to twelve months without forfeiting the deposit. Put the F&B policy, A/V inclusions, noise curfew, setup and teardown access windows, and rescheduling terms in writing before signing. Do a site recce, confirm capacity for your specific event format (cocktail / banquet / theatre), and put the F&B policy, A/V inclusions, noise curfew, setup/teardown access, and rescheduling terms in writing before paying the deposit.
