A typical first visit begins with an initial consultation and physical assessment to understand your presenting condition — whether that is a musculoskeletal injury, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related strain, or a chronic pain complaint. Your physiotherapist will discuss treatment goals, outline a proposed plan (which may include manual therapy, exercise prescription, or modality-based treatment), and advise on session frequency. Enquire about group versus one-to-one sessions, whether a recurring package or single-session booking suits your needs, and the cancellation policy before committing.
To get started, reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to book an initial assessment and confirm current appointment availability.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Dr Sai at Synergy has been OUTSTANDING to care for and treat multiple wrist, back, neck and other body pain issues for me, my husband and our son's recent post op rehab after knee surgery. We've been with him for 5+ yrs and enjoy every single visit with his attention to detail, personalized care and engaging conversations. Truly exceptional service and great facilities at both the Orchard and Eastgate clinics.
Saw Sai again after a few years gap to help with a recurring back flare up. He saw me a couple of times and the treatment was truly excellent - back loosened up, pain gone and flexibility significantly improved. I would strongly recommend. He is also a charming and urbane man who is great fun to chat to.
Highly recommend MedX Spine for chronic back pain relief (spinal decompression). Sai is very logical and his approach made the real difference. I am back to normal now following a bad lower back injury I picked up from tennis 🎾 🐻
Well recommend... Unique treatment in Singapore..Mr.Sai is professional and experience Physiotherapist. Clinic has all latest technologies. I went for get treatment for my neck pain. He really understand and explain me the cause and after few visit I able to almost recover
I have been visiting Synergy Physiotherapy. I have been very impressed with professionalism and depth brought by clinic owner Sairam. The clinic is very well equipped. Sairam's knowledge and passion about his craft is extra ordinary. I have visited a few other clinics but i have never received the attention, expert advice and care given by Synergy. Fees is lesser than other clinics. Location is central . So, overall, it makes an extremely value for money place too. I highly recommend the place for anyone looking for rehab. and if you are interested in Cricket and world politics, Sairam has some rich and entertaining views there too ;)

Physiotherapy consultation fees in Singapore typically range from S$80–180 per session for a private clinic, depending on session length, the complexity of the condition, and whether modalities such as ultrasound, dry needling, or taping are included. Package rates for multiple sessions are often available at a slight discount versus single-session pricing. Confirm the first-consultation fee separately, as some clinics charge a higher rate for the initial assessment. Ask whether consumables such as taping materials or hot/cold packs are billed on top, and whether GST is included in the quoted rate. Cancellation and no-show fees vary by clinic — clarify this before booking. See the full Physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →
A GP or specialist referral is not required to book a private physiotherapy session directly — you can self-refer. However, if you intend to claim against an insurer, employer medical benefits, or Medisave (for certain approved conditions), a doctor's referral letter will typically be required by the insurer or to meet claim eligibility criteria. At your first visit, expect to complete an intake or health-screening form covering your medical history, current medications, and the nature of your complaint. The physiotherapist will conduct a physical assessment before treatment begins. If you have imaging results such as MRI or X-ray reports, bring these along as they can meaningfully inform the treatment plan.
Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is verifiable on the AHPC public register at go.gov.sg/ahpc-register — search by name before your appointment. No AHPC or other regulatory licence is currently listed for Synergy Physiotherapy & Sports (East Coast) on this KakiList profile. Before booking, ask the clinic for the full name and AHPC registration number of the physiotherapist who will treat you, and verify their standing on the public register. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
