I'm truly grateful and glad to have met and engaged Andrew as my interior designer. He is very responsible and responsive, and despite the various changes that we made during the course of our house renovation, he was able to coordinate and work with his team to get things fixed. His team of carpenters, painters and electrician are also very experienced, friendly and helpful, which really makes the entire process a lot less stressful. Like any renovation, there will be challenges and rectifications to be made along the way, but I'm glad that we were able to work closely together and professionally to get things sorted out. The final outcome is exactly what we have dreamed of and planned to achieve. The project was also completed within our budget and schedule (well, slightly more but understandable given the complexity and changes). I must say that we are extremely pleased and thankful to have engaged Tab Gallery and Andrew (especially given so many horror news about irresponsible renovation companies that we've heard). A Truly Outstanding Renovation Experience with Kelvin from Tab Gallery Design I recently completed a home renovation, and I am genuinely grateful to have been matched with Kelvin from Tab Gallery Design. From the very beginning, Kelvin proved to be an exceptionally hands-on and dependable Interior Designer. The moment his company was selected to submit a proposal, he arranged a site visit to understand my needs in detail. This was followed promptly by a comprehensive proposal complete with a drawn-out floor plan and a fully itemised breakdown of all work to be carried out. Not a single detail was overlooked. Throughout the entire process, Kelvin was approachable, contactable, and consistently helpful. His responses were always prompt—often immediate—and he never hesitated to go the extra mile, so long as it was within his capability. He also provided a clear renovation timeline, allowing me to track each stage of the work and understand what was happening in my home at any given time. The materials selection phase was made incredibly convenient. We discussed options for floor and wall tiles at his office before heading next door to the tilers to choose the actual tiles. A few days later, we finalised the selection of wood and colour schemes. Kelvin also designed the wardrobes and kitchen cabinets exactly to my specifications, ensuring that everything aligned with my preferences and lifestyle. Once these were completed, a 3D rendering of the entire home was produced—an exciting preview of what was to come. When renovation works officially began, hacking of walls, floors, cornices, and the old kitchen cabinets proceeded smoothly and according to schedule. Kelvin handled all official paperwork with HDB, ensuring full compliance before starting any major work. He even coordinated with the gas pipe company directly, which saved me a great deal of hassle. At one point, a water leak was discovered in my kitchen ceiling; Kelvin immediately advised me to contact HDB for inspection and rectification. His proactive attitude really impressed me. What stood out most was Kelvin’s on-site presence and clear communication. He visited regularly, kept me updated at all times, and ensured every detail was executed according to plan. His honesty was refreshing: if something I wanted could be done, he made it happen; if it wasn’t possible, he explained why. Never once did he shirk responsibility or attempt to push things aside. This gave me immense confidence in him throughout the project. I would also like to thank HomeMatch.sg—especially Regina—for connecting me with the right Interior Designer from the start. Her effort in sourcing several proposals made the selection process organised and efficient. Thanks to Kelvin’s dedication and professionalism, my home is now as good as new—a true Home Sweet Home.
