About The Clifford Pier

About The Clifford Pier

The Clifford Pier is a venue rental option located at 80 Collyer Quay, Singapore 049326, occupying a distinctive heritage waterfront setting in the Fullerton Bay area. KakiList has verified operating details and contact channels. Across 1,243 Google reviews, the venue holds a 4.5/5 rating — a robust sample that reflects consistent guest experience. Pricing is in the mid-to-upper range ($$), structured as packages rather than hourly hire.

Enquiries typically begin with confirming the event date, format, and approximate headcount, as capacity varies significantly between standing cocktail, banquet round-table, and theatre seating — cocktail configurations generally accommodate 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated number. Prospective clients should clarify whether food and beverage is in-house only or whether an external caterer is permitted (and whether a corkage fee applies), the standard A/V provision included in the package, aircon hours, noise curfew, and the setup and teardown access windows, which often fall outside the rented event window and need to be confirmed in advance. Accessibility (lift, ramp, and accessible toilets) and parking options nearby at Fullerton Bay are worth raising early. For wedding solemnisations, confirm whether the venue is a registered ROM solemnisation venue or whether a separate Justice of the Peace arrangement is needed.

To take the next step, contact The Clifford Pier via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to check availability for your event date, request a site recce, and obtain a written package proposal that details capacity, F&B policy, A/V inclusions, noise curfew, and rescheduling terms.

Review for wedding dinner. Food was more exotic than other menus from other hotels. Portion was just right and food was flavourful, just not as warm as we hoped it to be. Well curated menu though, from soup to fish to lobster, there was a good variety of dishes served.

I always watched Clifford Pier from afar as a kid because it was like a place, a landing point where foreigners come and go. As I stepped into the Fullerton Hotel today, I was surprised to see a corner exhibiting the history of Clifford Pier. Walking through the majestic lobby, I was transported between two eras. On one side, the opulence of a world-class hotel; on the other, a humble tribute to the souls who arrived here with little more than hope. The exhibit, located near the entrance to The Clifford Pier restaurant, features archival images and narratives that are a vital part of Singapore's story. It’s a thoughtful touch that adds immense depth to the Five-Star experience. Highly recommend taking a moment to appreciate this piece of history on your visit.

The Clifford Pier is one of Singapore’s most iconic landmarks, beautifully preserved within The Fullerton Bay Hotel. Once a landing point for immigrants in 1933, it now serves as an elegant dining destination with soaring arches, chandeliers, and panoramic views of Marina Bay. The atmosphere is refined yet welcoming, making it an outstanding spot not only for dining but also for photography—day or night, the views are truly spectacular. The menu blends heritage flavors with modern presentation, from signature dim sum and satay to seafood and creative desserts, all complemented by attentive service. Prices are premium, but the experience, ambience, and history make it well worth it. Ideal for romantic evenings, weddings, business events, or simply enjoying Singapore’s skyline, The Clifford Pier stands out as a rare place where culture, history, and modern luxury meet.

— A historic venue along the Collyer Quay, The Clifford Pier was formerly a pier that’s been since converted to a restaurant/wedding venue as part of The Fullerton Bay Hotel. The high ceilings provide ample breathing room even for large wedding parties, and the white arches the charm of celebrating your special day at a historic chapter of Singapore’s history. As a wedding photographer, photographing weddings at The Clifford Pier always feels exceptional and I look forward to more in the future. (Photos by @annopano)

-Review for the wedding dinner- Honoured to be invited here for a wedding dinner by my secondary school friend, and was treated to a good ambience and food! 👩‍❤️‍👨 The food was generally atas given the price point, and served in good intervals and most of it being hot - other than a pork rib which was served rather cold for most of us. Service was good too, though not the most attentive and professional at times, they did manage it well overall. Can’t recall my experience at the Dimsum lunch the previous time - will probably consider revisiting to enjoy the ambience here!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does The Clifford Pier charge?

The Clifford Pier uses a package pricing model rather than an hourly room rate. For heritage waterfront venues of this calibre in Singapore, full-event packages at comparable spaces typically run S$8,000–30,000+ for a substantial event, depending on the format, duration, guest count, and in-house F&B minimums. In-house F&B venues commonly replace the hall rental with a minimum spend per pax, so the total cost is closely tied to the food and beverage selection. Add-ons to budget for include extended-hours surcharges if your event runs beyond standard service windows, A/V upgrades beyond the base package, a liquor corkage if BYO applies, and any photography or videography permits the venue requires. GST applies. See the full venue rental cost guide for Singapore →

What capacity and F&B policy does The Clifford Pier have?

Capacity at The Clifford Pier varies by event format — standing cocktail configurations typically accommodate 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated count, with theatre seating falling between the two. Prospective clients should confirm the specific layout options and maximum numbers for their planned format directly with the venue team. The Clifford Pier, situated within The Fullerton Bay Hotel, operates in-house F&B. This typically means a minimum spend per pax rather than a separate hall rental charge, and external caterers are generally not permitted. Confirm the house wine and beverage list, any BYO corkage arrangements, and whether a menu tasting is available before committing. For wedding solemnisations, verify whether the space is a registered ROM venue or whether you need to engage a Justice of the Peace separately.

What's the booking and cancellation policy at The Clifford Pier?

Singapore venue bookings at this level typically require a deposit of 30–50% on signing to secure the date, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event. Popular Saturday evenings in wedding season — March, April, October, and November — book out six to twelve months ahead, so early enquiry is advisable. Confirm the noise curfew (typically 10–11pm for venues in mixed-use or residential-adjacent areas), parking arrangements, accessibility via lift or ramp, and what happens in a force-majeure situation such as a public-health restriction or extreme weather. Reputable venues generally allow rescheduling within six to twelve months without forfeiting the deposit, but this must be stated in writing. Conduct a site recce before paying any deposit so you can verify the layout, sightlines, and service flow for your specific event.
