About The Psychology Atelier
The Psychology Atelier is a counselling practice located at 25 Seah St, Singapore 188381, serving clients islandwide. It has been verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed. It holds a 4.6-star rating across 9 Google reviews, though the small sample size means this figure should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Pricing is indicated at a mid-range level; specific session fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the practice.
Clients typically begin by submitting an enquiry through the contact form on the practice's website, after which a first appointment is scheduled. At the initial consultation, the counsellor will conduct an intake assessment covering your presenting concerns, personal history, and goals for therapy. It is worth clarifying whether sessions are individual, couples, or family-based, and whether the practice works with particular presentations such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, or workplace stress. Confirm the session frequency, session length, and cancellation policy upfront, as well as whether the counsellor's approach — for example cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic therapy, or acceptance and commitment therapy — suits your needs. Package options versus pay-per-session arrangements are also worth discussing at this stage.
To take the next step, submit an enquiry through The Psychology Atelier's contact form to check availability and arrange an initial consultation.

The TPA space was used for my own therapy practice for almost 2 years. The team with JJ & Hong-hui has never been short of professional, highly communicative and also accommodating to my practice's needs. If not for personal circumstances, I would continue using their space. I will not hesitate to recommend their space to other practitioners as it is centrally-located, clean and conducive for your practice's needs.
I had Dr Lin as therapist when I was struggling with my grief, and it has helped tremendously. She understood my needs for things to make sense, and she was able to guide me by asking the right questions, and it indeed opened my eyes to a whole new understanding of the situation, or my own emotion. After more than a year, Dr Lin suggested that we took a time off as she thought that I was capable of working things out on my own and I really appreciated the vote of confidence (and she was right!). Though therapy may not be for everyone, for me, it did work, and I shall always be grateful for the experience.
I've been working with Victoria for more than a year and it's been a wonderful experience. Victoria never fails to create a safe and empathetic space during our sessions, which has been incredibly instrumental in allowing me to work through and navigate difficult topics and experiences. She's very respectful of my autonomy and agency as a person, and always manages to offer insights with compassion and gentleness. I'm very grateful for the trusting relationship we have built.
I started therapy with Jocelyn almost a year ago. She was genuine, open to listen, empathetic and non-judgmental - all of which are traits that I believe most people who are looking for therapists would be very appreciative of. She helped me to gain awareness of where feelings are in my body and I grew to understand these physical reactions to certain emotions, which was extremely helpful in regulating my nervous system. Jocelyn asks insightful questions, which always prompted me to reflect on my life and childhood experiences. This really assisted me with overcoming the difficulties that I was facing and I’m now equipped with the necessary skills and mindset shifts to lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life. The administrative process was quite straightforward and detailed. In fact, the admin replies promptly and is always ready to answer any queries I may have. The Psychology Atelier is a calming place to be in. It’s cosy, there’s a small selection of books which can be borrowed and the therapist’s office is furnished with comfortable rugs and a really soft sofa. It made me feel welcome and relaxed to be able to open up more about my feelings. Thank you TPA, Jocelyn and JJ for playing a part in my healing journey!
Not a client of the The Psychology Atelier but we utilized the space for a non-therapy setting. It's along Seah Street, centrally located and accessible via a lift. Communication is prompt, and there are a number of spaces available for rent depending on your needs. Each room is artfully decorated and exuded a sense of calm, and is a much-needed oasis in the heart of the city.

The Psychology Atelier does not publicly list specific session fees, and pricing is indicated at a mid-range level. For context, counselling and psychotherapy sessions in Singapore typically run S$100–200 per 50-minute session at private practices, with initial consultations sometimes carrying a slightly higher assessment fee. Package rates for a block of sessions may offer a modest reduction compared to the per-session rate. Confirm the exact fee, session duration, and cancellation or no-show policy in writing before your first appointment. Also ask whether the practice issues receipts in a format compatible with Medisave or private health insurance claims, as coverage for counselling varies by insurer and policy. No formal referral is required to book a session at The Psychology Atelier — most private counselling practices in Singapore accept self-referrals directly. You will typically complete an intake form covering your current concerns, relevant history, and what you hope to achieve through counselling before or at the first session. If you have a complex clinical presentation — such as a diagnosed psychiatric condition, active suicidality, or a need for medication assessment — the counsellor may recommend a parallel consultation with a psychiatrist or your GP. Having a GP referral can also be useful if you plan to claim under an Integrated Shield Plan or employer insurance, as some policies require a referral letter to process a counselling-related claim.
Counselling in Singapore is not yet a statutorily regulated profession in the same way as physiotherapy or TCM, so there is no single mandatory licence. The relevant voluntary credentialling bodies are the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC), which awards the Registered Counsellor (RC) designation, and the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) for psychologists. Practitioners registered with SAC or holding a full practising certificate from SPS have met defined education, supervised practice, and ethics requirements. No specific regulatory licence has been listed for The Psychology Atelier. Before booking, ask the practice directly for the counsellor's academic qualifications, professional registration number, and the body they are registered with, then verify the registration on the SAC or SPS public directory. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
