About The Relationship Room
The Relationship Room is a counselling practice based at One Raffles Place, Tower Two, offering sessions to clients across Singapore. It is verified by KakiList and holds a 4.8/5 rating across 72 Google reviews, which represents a moderate sample size. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range bracket; specific per-session fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the practice.
Prospective clients typically begin with an initial consultation to discuss their presenting concerns — whether relationship difficulties, communication breakdowns, grief, anxiety, or other personal challenges — alongside any relevant background. The practice offers counselling for individuals, couples, and families, and it is worth confirming at enquiry whether sessions are available in person at the Raffles Place office, remotely via video call, or both. Session format (single appointment versus an ongoing package), cancellation and rescheduling terms, and whether a written intake form is completed before the first appointment are all practical details to clarify upfront. If you intend to claim insurance reimbursement, check with your insurer whether a GP referral letter or a specific practitioner credential is required to support the claim.
To take the next step, reach out to The Relationship Room via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability, session format, and fees before booking your first appointment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
I visited several therapists to find the right fit and finally settled on Theresa, as she is highly professional, empathetic, and sincere. Throughout my journey with her, Theresa consistently practiced active listening and was genuinely present in every session. She helped me take the first steps on my healing journey, and I trust her deeply. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking therapy. Thank you, Theresa!
I'd like to commend Theresa for sharing her expertise and insights on navigating consent relationships at our recent panel discussion. Her knowledge and experience working with couples shone through as she provided the audience with useful principles and concrete tips on how to develop safe and respectful relationships built on consent. This knowledge is particularly useful for the youths in the room who are just starting to embark on romantic relationships!
It was an honour & privilege to hear from Theresa during her AMA session with Central Christian Church. She was knowledgeable and broke it down so that it was easy to understand and digest. The attendees of the event all feedback and complimented about how well it was to have Theresa share. I would highly recommend people to her.
Alicia is amazing. 10000/10. She really helped us with our relationship and us fixing our communication issues. We left the sessions as a stronger couple and with much growth. She discusses about topics with gentleness but still keeping things serious. She is really easy to talk to — she strikes a good balance between being a counsellor and being chill. I’ve always wondered if her favourite colour was green. I didn’t manage to ask her that in our last session with her. So I guess there’s 2 gigantic pros now in engaging her: 1. Your relationship will be set on a growth trajectory 100% 2. You’ll find out if her favourite colour is really green. But in all seriousness, I really really recommend her!
Theresa has deep knowledge and passion for counselling, and it really shows in how she connects with others – she’s warm, sincere, and incredibly generous in sharing her time and insights. You can tell she brings years of experience into every conversation, but it’s her heart and presence that really stand out. If you’re looking for someone who’s not only skilled but also truly kind and grounded, I can’t recommend her enough!

The Relationship Room does not publish a specific per-session rate on its public listing and is priced in the mid-range bracket. Singapore counselling and psychotherapy sessions typically run S$100–250 per 50-minute individual session, with couples sessions often commanding S$150–300 per session given the additional complexity. Some practices offer block packages of six or ten sessions at a slight discount. Confirm the first-consultation fee, whether an intake assessment carries a separate charge, and the cancellation or no-show policy before booking. GST may apply depending on the practice's annual revenue threshold. See the full counselling cost guide for Singapore →
Most counselling practices in Singapore do not require a GP referral for an initial appointment — you can contact The Relationship Room directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to schedule. However, if you plan to claim reimbursement through a corporate Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) or health insurance policy, your insurer may require a referral letter or specify that the practitioner holds a particular credential (such as registration with the Singapore Association for Counselling). Expect to complete an intake form before or at the first session covering your presenting concerns, relevant history, and any contraindications. This helps the counsellor confirm that the practice is an appropriate fit for your needs, or refer you onward if a higher level of clinical support — such as a psychiatrist — would be more suitable.
Counselling and psychotherapy in Singapore are not yet statutorily regulated, meaning there is no single mandatory government licence equivalent to the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) registration required of physiotherapists or occupational therapists. Credible practitioners typically hold membership with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) or the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), and may hold internationally recognised qualifications such as a Master's in Counselling or Clinical Psychology. No regulatory licences are listed on The Relationship Room's current KakiList profile. Before booking, ask the practice directly for the lead counsellor's qualifications, professional association memberships, and supervision arrangements — this is standard practice and any reputable counsellor will answer readily. Confirm the practitioner's licence on the relevant professional body's public register before committing to ongoing sessions.
