Prospective clients typically begin with an initial consultation, during which the physiotherapist assesses the presenting condition — whether that is post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury, musculoskeletal pain, or chronic discomfort. From there, a treatment plan is established covering session frequency, modalities to be used (such as manual therapy, dry needling, or exercise-based rehabilitation), and whether a recurring package or single-session approach better suits the individual's goals. It is worth confirming the cancellation policy and any package commitment terms before booking.
To arrange an appointment, reach The Sports Care Centre via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form. Bringing a referral letter or imaging reports (if available) to the first session can help the physiotherapist triage your condition more efficiently.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the AHPC public register before treatment.
I’m so grateful for Timothy's exceptional care during my ankle fracture rehabilitation. His expertise, patience, and guidance helped me recover strength and mobility far quicker than I imagined.
Thankful to have Timothy as my physiotherapist. He treated my wrist and back injuries with great care and professionalism and my recovery has been smooth and steady. Highly recommend!
Really appreciated the sport massage sessions that I've had with Denise. Denise was able to quickly pinpoint my problem areas during the sessions, and also assigned exercises that would help me to alleviate my symptoms outside of those sessions. Would highly recommend!
Had a sports massage session with Denise. She is very knowledgeable in spotting my tight areas (which I grew to thought they were normal over the years). Didn’t had any problems with daily living but thought that the joint cracks on my shoulders and back were normal but she spotted and helped with some deep tissue/muscle massage. She also taught me some simple exercises to do at home/in the office. Denise is also very friendly and approachable in sharing her knowledge in her specialty. Thankful that my colleague intro me this place and sports massage. 10/10 will recommend for stiff shoulders/spots :)
I had a sports massage with Denise, who was amazing. She helped to loosen my hips and quads, and showed me different exercises to increase the mobility of my hips. She also massaged the tightness from from my upper back and neck, which are stiff from long days at a desk job. On top of that, she is an extremely friendly person who is easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

The Sports Care Centre is listed at a mid-range price point ($$), though specific per-session fees are not published on this listing. As a general reference, physiotherapy consultations in Singapore typically range from S$80–150 per session at a private clinic, with follow-up sessions sometimes at a lower rate. Package deals covering a fixed number of sessions are common and usually offer a small saving over individual session pricing. Confirm the first-consultation fee, whether a separate assessment charge applies, and the package terms — including expiry and cancellation — before committing. Ask whether materials such as taping or consumables are included or billed on top. See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →
Most private physiotherapy clinics in Singapore, including sports-focused practices, accept self-referrals without a GP letter. However, bringing a referral from a doctor or specialist can be useful if you intend to claim through MediShield Life, an integrated shield plan, or a corporate health insurance policy, as some insurers require a referral for physiotherapy to be claimable. The first visit typically involves a structured intake assessment — the physiotherapist takes a history of the injury or condition, performs functional and movement tests, and discusses your goals before any hands-on treatment begins. Disclose any contraindications (recent surgery, implants, pregnancy, blood-thinning medication) at booking so the clinic can advise on suitability of specific techniques.
Physiotherapists in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is individually held by the treating therapist, not the clinic as a whole. You can verify any physiotherapist's registration on the AHPC public register at www.ahpc.gov.sg before your appointment. No regulatory licences were listed for The Sports Care Centre in this listing. This does not necessarily indicate non-compliance — individual practitioners may hold current AHPC registration — but it is advisable to confirm the name and AHPC registration number of the physiotherapist you will be seeing, and to verify this directly on the AHPC register before treatment.
