Patients typically begin with a first consultation, during which the physiotherapist takes a detailed history, assesses mobility and function, and identifies the presenting condition — whether that is post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury, chronic pain, neurological recovery, or musculoskeletal complaint. From this assessment, a personalised treatment plan is developed, which may involve manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy modalities, or dry needling depending on the diagnosis. Sessions may be booked as single visits or as part of a recurring package; it is worth clarifying upfront the expected number of sessions, the cancellation policy, and whether the clinic works with your insurer for direct billing or requires self-payment with a receipt for reimbursement.
To get started, reach Thomson Medical Physiotherapy via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to describe your condition and preferred appointment slot, then attend an initial consultation to receive a tailored assessment and treatment plan.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the AHPC public register before treatment.
I have been under the care of Jonathan for left foot chopart injury since Sep 2025. He is a very nice & professional physiotherapist. My leg was initially very pain & swollen. I am thankful that I am not required to go for surgery. With the help of personalise treatment plans using ultrasound, heat therapy & exercises, i have now recovered and able to walk normally. The service staff is also very helfpul as making appointment is so hassle free and an easy process. Thanks for taking care of me during this recovery journey! Strongly recommend Jonathan for those who need help in physio as the experience is so different from visiting those in restructured hosp.
Being relatively active, I thought I had done all I could to stay healthy and nimble, and I never imagined needing surgery or physiotherapy. But mishaps happen, and recovery soon became my main focus. When I visited On Point, I was hoping to find someone who could guide me through my recovery. Jonathan has certainly been that person. I was looking for a therapist who could provide personalized advice and help me regain my strength and mobility. Knowing that consistency is key, I wanted my physiotherapy sessions to be something I looked forward to — and they have been. After attending weekly sessions at On Point for five months, I’m glad to say I can continue living my regular lifestyle, enjoy the sports I love, and even travel overseas for holidays. Finding a therapist who genuinely supports me in my recovery has been truly invaluable.
Jonathan at On Point Physiotherapy is the best physiotherapist I’ve ever worked with. He’s knowledgeable, very direct, and brings a great sense of humor to every session. In just a short time, he improved my shoulder pain from a partially torn rotator cuff far beyond what I thought possible. Highly recommended!
I started my sessions in June for a grade 3 PCL tear and was recommended to On Point Therapy. As it was my first time going for physiotherapy, I didn’t know what to expect, but the team patiently guided me through the dos and don’ts and prepared me for the road to recovery. The no-frills clinic is well equipped with technology such as ultrasound and radio frequency machine that really sped up my recovery & eased the pain around my knee. Physio Jonathan also took time to understand what were the equipment accessible to me outside of physio sessions so i could also strengthen up before the next visit. This meant that we could adjust the intensity of the activity & weights accordingly every session for a more personalised treatment plan. After experiencing a misdiagnosis and treatment plans that made my injury worse, im very cautious about my care - and it makes me extra grateful to have found a clinic I can trust with my recovery.
I had ankle ligament surgery and did my rehab with Jonathan from On Point Physiotherapy. He made the whole recovery process much smoother and more reassuring than I expected. Jonathan used a range of treatments—including ultrasound, acupuncture, and advanced therapy—to help reduce swelling and manage pain early on. Thanks to his approach, I was able to start walking again sooner than I thought possible. His strength training sessions were also well-targeted, helping me regain balance, stability, and confidence in my ankle. He’s patient, knowledgeable, and truly attentive to your progress—not just going through the motions. Thank you, Jonathan, for your care and support. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and genuinely dedicated physiotherapist.

Physiotherapy session fees in Singapore typically run S$80–180 per session for a standard 45–60 minute appointment at a private clinic, with an initial assessment often priced slightly higher than follow-up sessions. Some clinics offer package rates for a fixed number of sessions that work out cheaper per visit than booking individually. It is worth confirming whether your Medisave or integrated shield plan covers physiotherapy — Medisave can be used for physiotherapy at approved institutions under specific conditions, and some corporate or personal health insurance plans reimburse outpatient physiotherapy with a valid receipt. Ask Thomson Medical Physiotherapy directly for their current fee schedule and to clarify the cancellation or rescheduling policy before your first appointment. You do not typically need a GP referral to book a private physiotherapy appointment directly, though a referral letter from your doctor or specialist can be useful if you are claiming through insurance or if your condition involves post-surgical recovery where a care handover note is helpful. At the first visit, expect to complete an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and details of the presenting complaint. The physiotherapist will then conduct a physical assessment before any hands-on treatment begins. If your condition involves a contraindication — for example, recent fracture, active infection, or unexplained swelling — the physiotherapist may refer you back to a doctor before proceeding. Bringing any recent imaging reports, surgical discharge summaries, or specialist letters to your first session will help the assessment move efficiently.
In Singapore, physiotherapists are regulated by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Ministry of Health. All practising physiotherapists must hold current AHPC registration, which is publicly verifiable on the AHPC online register at healthprofessionals.gov.sg — search by name to confirm the individual's registration status and any conditions on practice. No regulatory licences have been listed for Thomson Medical Physiotherapy in the current provider data, so it is advisable to ask the clinic directly for the treating physiotherapist's AHPC registration number and verify it before commencing treatment. This is standard practice and any reputable clinic will provide it without hesitation. Confirm the practitioner's credentials before your first session.
