About Thrive Psychology Clinic
Thrive Psychology Clinic offers counselling services from its practice at 519 Balestier Road, Le Shantier, with coverage across Singapore. The clinic is verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channel. It holds a 4.7-out-of-5 rating across 25 Google reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable initial signal of service quality, though prospective clients are encouraged to read individual reviews before booking.
Enquiries can be made by phone or via the online contact form. At a first consultation, the psychologist or counsellor will typically conduct an intake assessment covering your presenting concern, personal history, and goals for therapy. Subsequent sessions are usually scheduled on a recurring basis, with the frequency and format — individual, couples, or family — agreed during that initial meeting. It is worth confirming session duration, the cancellation and rescheduling policy, and whether sessions can shift to teleconsultation if attendance in person becomes difficult.
To get started, reach out by phone or through the clinic's contact form to book an initial consultation at the Balestier Road premises, where you can discuss your concerns and agree on a suitable care plan.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
The place is wonderful, the staff are kind, friendly, and make you feel comfortable. The therapist is truly amazing, professional, caring, and easy to talk to. The environment is calm, clean, and welcoming, which really helps relax. Sessions has been helpful and nice, and I always leave feeling better. I recommend this place to anyone looking for great care
Thrive, together with Ms Jeslyn and Ms Vesilia helped my son to learn to manage his behaviour and importantly helped him grow to be what he is now. My family deeply appreciates the people there. Thank you all very, very much.
First visit was very comfortable for me and my son. Very clean and cozy place. Miss Jeslyn and the receptionist ladies was very accommodating and very friendly. It was recommended by a friend and a colleague and no regrets coming here. See you all soon🤗

i brought my child to seek treatment with Jesslyn. However, she used this paid session to decide which therapist she would assign my child to if i signed up for a package with them. no useful advice/assessment/ therapy was given/ made. i left after 20mins. was charged close to $200 even though no therapy was given. complete waste of my time and money.

Session fees at psychology and counselling clinics in Singapore typically range from S$120 to S$250 per 50-minute session for individual therapy, with couples or family sessions often priced higher. An initial intake or assessment session may carry a separate fee. Many clinics offer package rates for a fixed number of sessions, which can reduce the per-session cost. Confirm with Thrive Psychology Clinic directly whether a first-consultation fee applies, whether packages are available, and what the cancellation policy is for missed or late-cancelled appointments. Some health insurance plans and Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs) partially cover psychological services — check your policy before your first visit. No formal referral is required to book a private counselling or psychology appointment in Singapore — you can contact Thrive Psychology Clinic directly by phone or via the enquiry form. At the first session, the practitioner will conduct an intake assessment covering your presenting concerns, personal history, and therapy goals before agreeing on a treatment approach. A GP or specialist referral is not mandatory, but it can be helpful if you intend to claim under an insurance policy or if your concern involves a clinical diagnosis (such as depression, anxiety disorders, or ADHD) that may benefit from coordinated care. Clients with complex psychiatric needs, or those requiring medication, will typically be referred to or co-managed with a psychiatrist.
In Singapore, psychologists are registered with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), and those offering clinical or counselling psychology services may also hold registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) if they practise within its scope. Counsellors may hold accreditation with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC). These registers are publicly searchable and allow you to verify a practitioner's credentials before booking. No regulatory licences are listed for Thrive Psychology Clinic in the current directory data. Before your appointment, ask the clinic directly for the named practitioner's registration body and registration number, and verify this on the relevant public register. This is a reasonable step for any mental health provider and a reputable clinic will provide this information without hesitation. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
