We engaged Veronica Ong as our interior designer for our 4-room resale flat renovation, and we were very happy with the experience. The entire project was completed on schedule within 8 weeks. Veronica is extremely detailed and meticulous in her works. She also has a sharp eye for modern design and gave us tasteful, practical suggestions for our home. Throughout the process, she responded very promptly to all our queries—even after the handover, she remains just as responsive and supportive. One of the things we appreciated most was her good working relationship with her sub-contractors. She was able to manage and control them, giving us good confidence and was able to ensure that the work was carried out with great quality and minimal hassle for us. Additionally, the fan/lighting supplier that she brought us to was very reasonably priced with modern designs and wide range of choices. Veronica is also incredibly hands-on. She went above and beyond by personally removing old doors and moving cement bags to keep the work progressing smoothly. On one occasion when our air-con routing was poorly done by Gain City, she personally came down on-site late at night to help resolve the issue. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with Veronica’s professionalism, design expertise, and commitment. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and talented interior designer.

Engaged Todz'Terior for a full renovation and was assigned Wayne as the ID. The entire experience was frustrating and unprofessional, and I do not recommend Wayne or this firm. During the renovation, Wayne gave little to no design input and acted more like a contractor. He rarely sent photo updates unless requested, and worse, he repeatedly bypassed our group chat to contact my mother directly, knowing she is less knowledgeable about renovation standards and easier to convince. He didn’t take notes during site visits, causing constant repeated reminders. Promised Azora vouchers also came with hidden restrictions only revealed later. His technical knowledge was weak, and when we rejected unsuitable light bulbs, Wayne reacted rudely and told us to “go buy them ourselves.” On top of that, Wayne was often very condescending when we asked questions or sought clarifications, making the process even more unpleasant. After handover, defects were everywhere: uneven tiles, messy paint lines, holes in grout, chipped carpentry, badly installed AA tracks, and more. Wayne tried to convince me the AA tracks were “supposed” to be that way until I insisted multiple times before they were finally corrected. He also downplayed or dismissed other problems. He was absent for most rectification works, leaving us to deal with contractors directly. Even the stove was improperly fixed until I insisted multiple times. Overall, Wayne showed poor professionalism, weak technical knowledge, and zero accountability. Workmanship from Todz'Terior is far below acceptable standards. Avoid Wayne and Todz'Terior at all costs. Updated response: 1. Uploaded photos of uneven paint job and uneven tile and even sharp protrusion from the grout, unfortunately these uneven tile and grouting issue are at areas with highest foot traffic in the house. 2. My mom is the primary contact however a group chat has been created with me, my mom and wayne in it for reno discussion purposes, questions that were asked on the group chat by me was replied by wayne to my mom privately instead. 3. If your "extra mile" is gaslighting me then yes, you've been through a marathon.

A big thank you to our ID Ivy Yap for the reno of our BTO. From the start to the end of the project, even though our project is on the minimalist side with just the essentials, we can feel her effort and passion for the reno of our house from scratch and really appreciate her. Her responsiveness is just top notch. We are always busy with work and left the Reno entirely up to Ivy, I think she went down to site more than us haha. When we do not know what to do or have questions, Ivy is always there to answer them and provide solutions. At times, she will propose practical suggestions which we took up and it really adds much value to our entire design and brings it together as a whole. Ultimately our project is the perfect balance of functionality and aesthetic. In short, if you are looking for an ID that loves to build your dream house as much as you, please look for Ivy as your ID.
