About TOUCH Mental Wellness

About TOUCH Mental Wellness

TOUCH Mental Wellness is a counselling service operating islandwide from its base at Bukit Merah Central. It has been verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 4.6 out of 5 rating across 27 Google reviews — a moderate sample that is reasonably indicative but worth reading in full before booking. Pricing is listed at the mid-range tier; specific session fees should be confirmed directly with the service.

Engaging with TOUCH Mental Wellness typically begins with an initial consultation where the counsellor gathers information about your presenting concern, mental health history, and goals. From there, you and your counsellor will agree on an approach — this may be a single session or an ongoing arrangement depending on your needs. It is worth asking at the outset whether sessions are individual, couples, or family-based, what therapeutic modalities are used, and whether a package or subsidised rate applies for lower-income clients given TOUCH's community service background. Cancellation and rescheduling policies should be clarified before your first appointment.

To take the next step, reach out to TOUCH Mental Wellness by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to ask about availability, session fees, and whether your presenting concern is within the service's scope.

We attended the Marriage Preparation Programme. Christine Kong was our trainer. This was an amazing workshop and the trainers have been such a blessing to us. The workshop gave us so many tools to strengthen our relationship and to approach difficult topics with each other. There was also a couple personality test which went in depth about our personalities and issues we may face. The trainers helped us unpack the report. I highly recommend this workshop and feel very blessed for having the chance to go through this :)

Such a kickass session, many thanks to Christine who was an incredibly kind trainer that went out of her way to help us out, even inviting us to her house to discuss. There were many very useful anecdotes from people in successful marriages. Course content was practical and focused on how to have honest conversations, showing love for each other, strategies to deescalate conflict and strengthen the marriage.

My first hand experience engaging a social worker, and it definitely was way better than I expected. Having had past experiences, I can assure that peggy is one the best out there at what she does. Truly grateful for all the help she’s given, many props to her for awhile going the extra mile at what she does best.

A big thank you to the nice, thoughtful and compassionate people like Jaswan, Jennifer and others whom had attended to our late mother for her appointments at the hospital. They visited her at the hospice and also came to comfort us at her wake. We are so blessed to have them !

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does TOUCH Mental Wellness charge per session?

TOUCH Mental Wellness lists its pricing at a mid-range tier, but the exact per-session rate should be confirmed directly as fees can vary by session type (individual, couples, or family), counsellor seniority, and whether subsidised or means-tested rates apply. Community-based counselling services in Singapore typically charge S$50–150 per session, with reduced rates for lower-income clients. Ask whether a package of sessions is available at a lower per-session cost, what the cancellation or no-show fee is, and whether any materials or assessments carry a separate charge. See the full counselling cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

Most counselling services, including community-based ones, do not require a formal GP referral to book — you can contact TOUCH Mental Wellness directly by phone or through their enquiry form. That said, a referral from a GP or polyclinic can be helpful if you intend to claim insurance or if your condition involves a clinical diagnosis (such as depression, anxiety disorder, or PTSD) that warrants coordinated care with a psychiatrist. At your first session, expect to complete an intake form covering your presenting concern, mental health history, and any current medications. Flag any contraindications or crisis-level concerns when you book so the team can ensure the right counsellor and format are assigned from the start.

Is the practitioner at TOUCH Mental Wellness licensed?

In Singapore, counsellors are not yet governed by a statutory licensing board in the same way as physiotherapists (AHPC) or TCM practitioners (TCMPB). The relevant voluntary bodies are the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) and the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) for psychologists. Practitioners who are registered members of SAC or are provisionally or fully registered psychologists under SPS have met defined training and supervision standards. Ask TOUCH Mental Wellness directly for the credentials of the counsellor assigned to you — specifically their degree, SAC membership status, and years of supervised practice. If psychological assessment or therapy for a clinical condition is involved, confirm whether the practitioner holds a relevant postgraduate qualification. No regulatory licences are currently listed on this KakiList profile, so verifying credentials directly before your first session is advisable.
