About TutorCity
TutorCity is a tuition centre operating islandwide across Singapore, listed on KakiList as a verified and ACRA-registered provider. It holds a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5 drawn from 661 reviews, a robust sample that provides meaningful confidence in the rating. Pricing is indicated at the moderate range ($$), though specific per-session or monthly fees are not published and should be confirmed directly with the provider.
Families considering TutorCity should begin by enquiring about the level and syllabus fit for their child — whether that is PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, IB, IGCSE, or primary enrichment. It is worth asking whether tuition is offered in a small group setting or on a one-to-one basis, as this affects both the pace and the cost. Ask about a trial class before committing to a full term, and clarify whether sessions are held at the Proxima@Gambas centre in Gambas Crescent or whether any online delivery is available. Confirm the term commitment required and whether materials or workbooks carry a separate charge.
The most direct next step is to reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm subject availability, schedule a trial class, and receive a written breakdown of fees before making any payment commitment.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.

TutorCity has not published a specific per-session rate, so you will need to enquire directly for a current fee schedule. In the Singapore tuition market, group sessions typically range from S$30 to S$80 per session depending on the level and subject, while one-to-one sessions commonly run from S$60 to S$150 or more per hour. Some centres price by monthly package or school term rather than individual session, and a separate materials or workbook fee may apply. Ask whether a trial class is available and at what cost, and confirm whether sibling discounts or multi-subject packages are offered. Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or folded into the first month's cost. A trial gives you a practical way to assess whether the teaching style suits your child, whether the pace and level are appropriate, and whether your child feels comfortable in the environment. When attending a trial, observe how the tutor explains concepts, how questions from students are handled, and whether your child engages with the material. It is also a good opportunity to ask about class size and how homework or progress tracking is managed. Contact TutorCity directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about trial class availability and any associated cost before booking.
Tutor qualifications at TutorCity have not been published in the listing, so you should ask directly about the academic background and teaching experience of the tutors assigned to your child's subject and level. Relevant credentials to ask about include NIE or MOE teaching experience, university degree in the relevant subject, and familiarity with the specific syllabus — whether MOE, IB, IGCSE, or AP. Also worth confirming is how long each tutor has been teaching that particular level, and whether the same tutor will consistently take your child's class throughout the term. Consistency in tutor assignment tends to support better learning continuity. Raise these questions at the point of enquiry or during the trial class before committing to a term.
