I cannot thank the team at VES enough for the care, compassion, and dedication they showed to my dog Philippa during one of the most stressful weeks of my life. At the time, I was working as a veterinary nurse in a general practice. When Philippa became critically unwell, it was clear that her condition was far beyond what could safely be managed at a GP level, and bringing her to VES was the best decision I could have made. From the moment she was admitted, I felt a sense of relief knowing she was in good hands. The ECC vets and nurses were so lovely throughout her week-long stay in the ICU. Despite Philippa being an older and rather grumpy lady, the nurses were constantly loving on her and showed her so much patience, gentleness, and affection. Seeing how comfortable and cared for she was meant more to me than I can put into words. Thank you! 🥹 Because of a concurrent immune-mediated condition, Philippa was unable to undergo surgery straight away. Once she was stable enough, Dr Daniele took the time to sit with me and talk me through the surgery she required. I was extremely anxious, but his kind and compassionate demeanour, along with his clear and patient explanations, gave me complete confidence in going forward with the procedure. The surgery went smoothly, and she recovered well from it. I am also grateful to Dr Darren for his guidance in managing Philippa’s immune-mediated condition and for tailoring a treatment plan that supported her after her discharge. I am very happy to say that six months on, Philippa has made a full recovery and is now back to living her best life. To the entire team at VES, thank you for the dedication and compassion you showed throughout Philippa‘s stay. ❤️ While specialist veterinary care does come at a cost, I never once felt pressured into unnecessary treatments. Every decision was clearly made with Philippa’s best interests at heart. I would wholeheartedly recommend VES to anyone who wants their pet treated with the same care and love.
We were referred to Veterinary Emergency and Specialty (VES) 🏥via our vet 👩⚕️ for consultation with a heart 🫀specialist. We have never ❌ been here before and realised that it is a very new set up. It’s located at Whitley Road 🏘️ so it is pretty central to travel 🚘 to and they have a big parking 🅿️ area at the front. Once our Vet handed the case file 🗂️ to VES, everything was set up for the appointment. A phone ☎️ call to confirm, Whatsapp 📲 to give info 📝 on what to do before appointment 📆 (fasting…etc) then finally a final confirmation 🗣️ before actual day. Arrived and the hospital 🏥 is big, bright 💡, new and very modern. Dogs 🐶 go to the right ➡️ hand side, Cats 😻 go to the left ⬅️ hand side waiting area. (The rest of the pet goes where? 🤷♂️LOL 🤣) Then fill ✍️ up the online form 📋 and the Doctor 👨🏼⚕️ will attend to you on time ⏰. Head out to the consultation room and discuss 💬 the possible treatments. We then left our cat 🐈⬛ there to be checked while we headed out for lunch 🍜 and coffee ☕️ before coming back to pick him up. What I like…. The hospital set up is bright, clean, modern and well designed. ✅✅✅✅ Our Doctor was a European 🇪🇺 and took his time to speak to us, answered all our questions and explained exactly what he will be doing with our cat and then finally, the expected actions are itemized 🧾 into a bill. The same sequence took place at check out. We got back into the room and he explained the test 💉🩻 results, our options….etc No rush ⏳, always backed his recommendations with facts or experience. Overall, it was a good 👍 experience despite it being a hospital and my cat is ill 😌. It was very reassuring for my wife and I 🫶. I will recommend you head over prepared with a list 📝 of questions to ask 💬the vet and not be led by the nose, partake in your pet recovery.
my 13 year old maltipoo, cece, passed on peacefully at home on november 1st after being diagnosed with heart failure and precursor immune mediated anemia. in the two months leading up to her death, she was cared for by the wonderful vets and nurses of VES. she was in and out of the hospital multiple times for checkups, procedures and treatments. she used to hate going to the vet’s but something was different at VES. she never seemed stressed, she always came back to us happy and bright, well groomed and rested. thank you for loving her like she was your own. we always knew she was in good hands whenever we had to leave her there. we, as owners, are very grateful for the support that was shown to us during this difficult time. there were many difficult decisions about the extent of investigations we should pursue and treatment options that we could consider. at every consult, we were given the time, information and guidance to make the best choices we could for her. thank you to the team at VES for walking alongside us on this journey and for the care you gave both us and her through it all.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Heartfelt Thanks to Mars Veterinary Health Group & Mount Pleasant Gelenggang My beloved dog Princess underwent an urgent soft tissue sarcoma surgery on 4 November, and I am deeply grateful to the amazing team who made this journey so much easier. Special thanks to Ms. Yan Ping, Field Director from Mars Veterinary Health Group, for her incredible kindness, compassion, and professionalism. She truly cares for her clients and their pets — always patient, understanding, and supportive. She went above and beyond to coordinate Princess’s care and comforted me through one of the most difficult times. Her love for animals and empathy toward pet owners are truly exceptional. Also, heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Nic Chng and his wonderful team at Mount Pleasant Gelenggang. Dr. Nic took the time to explain every detail, performed the surgery skillfully, and provided excellent post-surgery care. His calmness, warmth, and attention to Princess’s recovery reflect the highest level of veterinary professionalism. Thank you both for your compassion, dedication, and outstanding care. Because of you, Princess’s surgery was a success, and she is now recovering beautifully. Truly grateful from the bottom of my heart! 🐶💖
I will forever be grateful to Dr Alex, Dr Sharon and Dr Amelia for saving my dog Abu’s life. Thank you to all the nurses and the entire VES team for treating her with so much care and love. The hospital is also exceptionally clean!! Abu’s blankets and towels were changed every day, which meant a lot to me during such a difficult time. Thank you, VES, for giving Abu another chance at life.

VES Hospital (Pet Emergency) is listed at the moderate price range ($$), but specific per-service fees have not been published on this listing. In the Singapore market, individual pet cremation typically ranges from S$150 to S$600 or more, depending on the pet's size, species, and the level of service chosen — individual cremation with an urn and memorial keepsakes will generally cost more than a communal arrangement. Additional costs to confirm with the provider may include collection or transportation of your pet, any ceremonial add-ons, urns, plaques, or memorial items, and whether GST applies to the service. Contact VES Hospital (Pet Emergency) directly by phone or enquiry form to request a full breakdown before committing. See the full pet cremation and funeral cost guide for Singapore →
Vaccination requirements are not typically applicable for pet cremation and funeral services, as the animal is deceased at the point of engagement. However, if VES Hospital (Pet Emergency) offers any ancillary services such as temporary boarding or holding prior to the cremation, standard vaccination documentation — such as DHPP and rabies for dogs, or FVRCP for cats — may become relevant. It is advisable to confirm directly with the provider whether any documentation is required at the point of collection or drop-off. Having your pet's most recent veterinary records accessible can be helpful in case the provider needs to verify any details about the animal's medical history.
VES Hospital (Pet Emergency) has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed the operating details and contact channels listed. However, no ACRA business registration has been confirmed for this listing, and no regulatory licences — such as AVS licensing — are recorded on this directory entry at this time. For pet cremation facilities in Singapore, it is worth asking the provider directly whether they hold any relevant Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) approvals and what their protocols are should any issues arise during the handling process. Confirming insurance coverage and their procedure for dignified handling of remains is also reasonable before proceeding. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
