About Waka Waka Singapore

About Waka Waka Singapore

Waka Waka Singapore is a venue rental provider located at 407 Havelock Rd, #05-01, offering event space for hire across Singapore. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels. The Google rating stands at 3.8 out of 5 across 380 reviews, which is a robust sample and worth reading in detail before booking. Pricing follows a package model at a mid-range price point; confirm the full cost breakdown directly as rates vary by format, duration, and add-ons.

When enquiring, confirm capacity for your specific event format — standing cocktail capacity is typically 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated figure, with theatre seating sitting between the two. Ask about the F&B policy: whether in-house catering is required, whether an external caterer is permitted (and what corkage applies), and whether there is an approved-caterer list. Clarify aircon hours, A/V provision including PA system, projector, screen, and microphones, noise curfew, and whether setup and teardown time falls within or outside the rented window. Check parking arrangements, lift and ramp accessibility, and accessible toilet availability. If you are planning a wedding solemnisation, confirm whether Waka Waka Singapore is a registered ROM venue.

To take the next step, contact Waka Waka Singapore by phone or via the enquiry form on the listing, state your event date, format, and expected headcount, and request a full written quote covering all inclusions, the deposit schedule, and the rescheduling and cancellation terms before paying anything.

I was really looking forward to taking my child to Waka Waka Kids Play Area, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The entire place felt unclean and poorly maintained. The play equipment looked dirty and sticky, and the floors didn’t seem to have been cleaned properly in a long time. For a children’s play area, hygiene should be the top priority – but here it clearly isn’t. I was uncomfortable letting my child touch anything, let alone play freely. With so many kids passing through every day, proper sanitisation and upkeep are essential, but this place completely fails in that aspect. Until they seriously improve their cleanliness and maintenance, I definitely would not recommend bringing your children here. It’s just not worth risking their health.

Really poor experience. It’s dark, dirty, in need of repair and dangerous - exposed sharp metal elements and hinges, missing netting, easily accessible multi-plug sockets etc. Amazing that they have the balls to charge $33 for this. Also full of kids who are too old to be charging around a soft play, with their parents ignoring them. Avoid at all costs - so many better options in the area.

Honestly quite disappointed with this place. The treehouse is nice and big and has some nice bridges but otherwise this place has not only seen better years but I noticed from older photos that they’ve given up some space and some sections are gone. Some items are in need of maintenance and just left around with Velcro showing. The older photos also show a much brighter play space but the interior of the treehouse is quite dark. What’s also very disappointing is the arcade games section. We have already paid a high fee and the games require tokens to be bought. Sorry this is the first and last time I’m bringing my daughter here. There are better playgrounds that are much more value for money.

Super adventurous, clean and safe space for kids! Kids loved the exciting slides, bouncy castle, and younger toddler play area. We had a birthday party here and Ivan the manager was super prompt, helpful and accommodating. Everything went smoothly due to his great help, and all our requests were met.

A nice place to bring the kids to play. This indoor play ground is big and spacious. It is also much less crowded now with the safe distancing requirements. Their snacks platter and drinks are also reasonably priced. Will come back for sure as the kids love it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Waka Waka Singapore charge?

Waka Waka Singapore prices on a package basis, so the total cost depends on the event format, duration, and day of week. As a reference point, function rooms in Singapore typically run S$100–500 per hour with a 2–4 hour minimum, while mid-sized event spaces are often packaged from S$1,500–8,000 for a half-day and upwards for full-day bookings. Confirm what the quoted package includes: aircon hours, basic A/V (PA, projector, screen), on-site staff, and cleaning. Common add-ons billed separately include external-caterer corkage (typically S$3–8 per pax), liquor corkage if BYO, extended-hours surcharges, and photography or videography permits. Setup and teardown access is sometimes outside the rented window — clarify this before signing. See the full venue rental cost guide for Singapore →

What capacity and F&B policy does Waka Waka Singapore have?

Capacity varies significantly by layout — standing cocktail format typically accommodates 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated number, with theatre seating in between. Ask Waka Waka Singapore for a floor plan and confirm the maximum headcount for your specific setup before putting down a deposit. On F&B, confirm whether catering is in-house only, whether an external caterer is permitted (with or without corkage), or whether there is an approved-caterer list. In-house F&B venues typically set a minimum spend per pax that replaces the hall rental fee. If you plan to bring your own wine or spirits, ask about the BYO corkage rate. For wedding solemnisations, confirm whether the venue is a registered ROM solemnisation venue or whether you need to arrange a Justice of the Peace separately.

What's the booking and cancellation policy at Waka Waka Singapore?

Venue deposits in Singapore are typically 30–50% of the total package, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event. Popular Saturday evenings — particularly during wedding season in March, April, October, and November — can book out six to twelve months ahead, so enquire early if your date is fixed. Before paying, confirm the noise curfew (typically 10–11pm in venues near residential areas), parking arrangements, and whether the venue is accessible by lift, ramp, and accessible toilet. Ask about the rescheduling policy if a force-majeure situation such as a public-health restriction requires postponement — reputable venues generally allow rescheduling within six to twelve months without forfeiting the deposit. A site recce before paying the deposit is standard practice and strongly recommended. Do a site recce, confirm capacity for your specific event format (cocktail / banquet / theatre), and put the F&B policy, A/V inclusions, noise curfew, setup/teardown access, and rescheduling terms in writing before paying the deposit.
