We Care Community Services is a counselling provider operating islandwide from its base at the Kembangan-Chai Chee Community Hub in Jalan Ubi. Getting started typically begins with an initial consultation where the counsellor takes a brief history of your presenting concern — whether that is stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, or another issue — and outlines an approach suited to your situation. You can reach We Care Community Services via WhatsApp, phone, or an online enquiry form to arrange a first appointment. It is worth asking whether sessions are conducted in person at the Kembangan-Chai Chee Community Hub, remotely, or both, and whether a recurring package or single-session arrangement is available. Confirm the cancellation policy before your first visit, particularly if you are self-funding rather than claiming through an insurer or employer assistance programme.
To book, contact We Care Community Services directly through WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check availability and confirm session fees before your first appointment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
I had a really good experience with WE CARE community service. From the beginning, everyone was friendly and easy to talk to. My counsellor, Ma'am Sida, made me feel comfortable and listened to me without judging. Even though at the start we had a little bumps. But i realise its actually a 'me' problem because of ego or should i say stubborness? HAHAHA! You can tell they truly care and really want to help. My Safe Buddy, Enid, is also great. Helps you feel safe and supported, knowing there’s someone there for you when you need it. It makes a big difference. Always welcoming me when i come to WE CARE. I’m very thankful for the kindness and support I received. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs help or just someone to talk to.
We approached WeCare during a challenging period with our teenage son and found the team responsive, professional, and supportive. With Counsellor Roy being firm, approachable, and effective in building trust, the sessions helped improve family communication and provided practical reminders and self awareness to both parents and child. WeCare offers a non-judgmental environment with programmes suited to different needs. We are grateful to Roy and the WeCare team. Not all struggles need to be faced alone.
WeCare Community Services has been a genuine blessing. The people here are caring, supportive, and non-judgmental—exactly what you need when going through difficult moments. They offer not just services, but hope, encouragement, and understanding. I’m thankful for their kindness and dedication to the community. Thank you for being part of my recovery.
Thanking Sida my counsellor. For having a beautiful session while on my recovery... Good job, she's very good in helping me on financial, coaching.. etc. alhamdulliah
WeCare have been instrumental in my recovery thus far. There is still work to be done, challenges ahead but with WeCare and the friends I have made there, I believe I can overcome them as they appear.

We Care Community Services indicates mid-range pricing, but specific per-session fees were not published at the time of this listing. Singapore counselling rates typically run S$80–180 per 50-minute session for private practitioners, with community-based services sometimes offering sliding-scale or subsidised rates depending on eligibility. Confirm whether a first-consultation or intake fee applies, whether packages of multiple sessions carry a discount, and what the no-show or late-cancellation charge is. If you plan to claim through an employer assistance programme or an insurer, ask whether the counsellor provides the documentation required for reimbursement. Most counselling providers in Singapore do not require a formal GP referral for a first appointment, although a referral can be helpful if you intend to claim from an insurer or if your situation involves a clinical diagnosis that a psychiatrist or psychologist is already managing. At a first visit, expect a brief intake form covering your presenting concern, relevant background, and any prior mental health history. The counsellor uses this to confirm that counselling is an appropriate fit or, if needed, to suggest a referral to a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist for more complex conditions. Contact We Care Community Services directly to ask about their intake process and whether any pre-session paperwork can be completed in advance.
Counselling in Singapore is not yet a statutorily regulated profession in the same way that physiotherapy or TCM is, so there is no single mandatory government licence. The main voluntary credentialling body is the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC), whose members hold recognised qualifications and follow a professional code of ethics. Some practitioners are also registered with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) or hold credentials from overseas boards. We Care Community Services does not list specific regulatory licences in this directory entry. Before booking, ask directly about the lead counsellor's qualifications, years of practice, and SAC or equivalent membership. You can verify SAC membership on the SAC's public directory at singaporecounselling.org.sg.
