About WINGS Counselling

About WINGS Counselling

WINGS Counselling is a counselling practice based at 179 Bartley Road, Singapore, offering services islandwide. The listing has been verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed. With only 5 Google reviews at a rating of 3.4 out of 5, this sample is too small to draw firm conclusions about service quality, and prospective clients should treat it as directional only.

If you are considering WINGS Counselling, the typical first step is an initial consultation where the counsellor assesses your presenting concern — whether that is anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, work stress, or another issue. It is worth asking about the counsellor's specific modalities (for example, cognitive behavioural therapy, person-centred therapy, or solution-focused approaches) and confirming whether sessions are conducted in person at Bartley Road, online, or both. Clarify session frequency, whether packages are available alongside single-session bookings, and the cancellation policy before committing.

To get started, reach WINGS Counselling by phone or through the enquiry form listed on their profile, briefly describe what you are hoping to address, and ask for the first available appointment slot and the session fee.

Horrible director who when I had a bad experience with a counsellor proceeded to call me and invalidate my experiences saying it’s just the counselling style. He was very overbearing during the convo. Will not be continuing here and will not recommend this place to anyone. His name is some H-something Hash-something.

I've been going to WINGS for some time now and its been a really pleasant and fulfilling experience; although they have very few full-time admin staff which could explain the long waiting periods- just give them a poke if you've been waiting too long for your liking but after you're processed and assigned a counsellor, they usually are very committed therapists who check in on you frequently. Their therapists are compassionate, gentle and very professional while still understanding your needs

Terrible service. Called to make an appointment for counselling on behalf of my partner but was told to fill up the form on website. After nearly 1 month still no news for appointment. Not interested to help people who are seeking help.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does WINGS Counselling charge per session?

Pricing details for WINGS Counselling are not publicly listed, so you will need to enquire directly for the current session rate. As a general reference, individual counselling sessions in Singapore typically run S$80–200 per hour at private practices, with initial consultations sometimes priced separately. Some counsellors offer reduced-rate packages when sessions are booked in blocks of four to eight. Confirm whether the quoted rate is per 50-minute or 60-minute session, whether a separate intake or assessment fee applies at the first appointment, and what the cancellation or no-show policy is. See the full counselling cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

Most private counselling practices in Singapore, including general wellness counsellors, do not require a GP referral to book an initial appointment. However, if you intend to claim insurance reimbursement, some policies require a referral letter or a diagnosis from a registered medical professional, so it is worth checking your policy terms beforehand. At a first session, you can expect to complete an intake form covering your current concerns, relevant background, and any prior mental health history. If your situation involves complex clinical needs — such as active suicidal ideation, psychosis, or a recent psychiatric hospitalisation — a counsellor may refer you to a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist rather than proceeding with counselling alone.

Is the practitioner at WINGS Counselling licensed?

In Singapore, counsellors are not currently regulated under a statutory licensing framework in the same way as physiotherapists (AHPC) or TCM practitioners (TCMPB). However, reputable practitioners typically hold membership with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) and may be registered with the Singapore Register of Counsellors, which sets standards for training, supervision, and ethics. Before booking, ask the counsellor directly for their professional qualification (for example, a Master's in Counselling or equivalent), their SAC membership status or other professional registration, and whether they carry professional indemnity insurance. No regulatory licences are currently listed for WINGS Counselling on this profile, so confirming credentials directly is especially important. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
