About Yi Ren Tang TCM
Yi Ren Tang TCM is a traditional Chinese medicine clinic located at 284 East Coast Road, Singapore, offering services islandwide. It holds KakiList verification, though ACRA registration could not be confirmed at the time of listing. The clinic carries a 5/5 rating across 19 Google reviews — a small sample, so this figure should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. No regulatory licence details were available for this listing.
Patients typically begin with an initial consultation in which the practitioner takes a full case history, assesses presenting conditions through tongue and pulse diagnosis, and discusses therapeutic goals — whether for pain management, stress, fertility support, digestive health, or general wellness. TCM treatment plans commonly combine acupuncture, herbal prescriptions, tui na, or cupping, and the frequency of sessions depends on the condition being addressed. It is worth confirming at the outset whether the clinic offers single sessions or recurring packages, the cancellation policy, and whether any treatments are claimable under MediShield Life or an integrated shield plan.
To take the next step, contact Yi Ren Tang TCM via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to describe your condition and request an initial consultation appointment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
I have shoulder pain and Lower back pain over past 2-3 years. Recommended by a friend, I tried Doris's pain management massage is quite good! my pain on shoulder is 90% after 4 treatments. The lower back pain also significantly improved highly recommended.
My wife and I (and daughter) have TCM massage with Doris @YRK on a regular basis. Doris has been treating my frozen/stiff shoulder and its something she deduced without my telling her the past problems I had / her work on my shoulders has helped me massively. I like the deep-tissue back massage and although sometimes painful with knots etc., Doris really manages to loosen tight muscles and my back always feels a lot better.
reasonable pricing...outside shop may look like nothing but Doris's massage is quite good! initially i went to her to do massage / treatment in hope to get pregnant soon and she did moxibustion for me and some other massage to help warm the womb...i was pregnant after the 2nd visit! okay might be due to other factors as well since i also coupled with other methods (e.g. food, etc).. now that im pregnant, recommended my hubby to her for massage and he said her massage is good too as it helps relieve his muscle ache since he always exercise and back will also pain if walk too long. they are very responsive on whatsapp too.
Getting to know Doris from her previous workplace and amazed by her skills. She knows exactly where my problematic area is by one touch and apply the right technique to relieve my pain. I also like her head and eyes Bojin (massage) which help to release my headache, prevent stroke and hair loss, and relax me after a rough day. Watsapp her to get an appointment. I like the fact that she does not look at the phone when she is working but she will message you back once she finishes her job. Her partner is also skilful, so you can bring a friend along. God bless Doris so more people can be blessed by her skill!

TCM consultation fees in Singapore typically range from S$30–80 for an initial visit, with follow-up sessions at S$20–60. Acupuncture, tui na, cupping, or herbal prescriptions are usually billed separately or bundled into a package — confirm which applies at Yi Ren Tang TCM before your first visit. Package deals for recurring conditions are common and can reduce the per-session cost meaningfully. Ask specifically about the no-show and late-cancellation policy, as some clinics charge a partial fee for missed appointments. If you intend to claim under an integrated shield plan or company medical benefits, verify in advance whether the clinic issues receipts in a format your insurer or employer accepts. No GP referral is required to consult a TCM practitioner in Singapore — you can book directly. At your first visit, expect to complete an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, known allergies, and presenting symptoms. The practitioner will then carry out a tongue and pulse assessment before recommending a treatment approach. If you have a complex or chronic condition — such as an autoimmune disorder, cardiovascular disease, or pregnancy — it is advisable to inform your GP before starting TCM treatment, particularly if herbal prescriptions are involved, as some herbs interact with pharmaceutical medications. A GP referral can also support MediShield Life or insurance claims in some circumstances.
In Singapore, TCM practitioners who perform acupuncture must be registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health. Registration is publicly verifiable on the TCMPB's online register — you can search by the practitioner's name before booking. Herbalists who compound and dispense Chinese herbal medicines are separately regulated. No licence details were listed for Yi Ren Tang TCM at the time of this listing. Before your first session, ask for the consulting practitioner's full name and TCMPB registration number, and verify it directly on the TCMPB register. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
