New patients typically begin with an initial consultation during which the physician conducts tongue and pulse diagnosis, reviews your presenting condition or health goal, and outlines a treatment plan. Common TCM services include acupuncture, tui na, cupping, herbal prescription, and moxibustion. It is worth confirming which modalities are offered here, whether the physician holds registration with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) — as required under the TCM Practitioners Act — and whether package sessions or single-visit bookings are available. Bring any relevant medical reports or blood test results to your first appointment, and disclose all current medications to avoid herb-drug interactions.
To get started, reach Yu Guo Chinese Physician via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form listed on this page to confirm appointment availability and the consultation fee before visiting.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
This is a very good TCM for kids. I would recommend to parents having kids that sick frequently especially attending infant care or child care center. Have been bringing my kids here since 5 years ago. My eldest boy has asthma and after coming here, his situation really improved so much. I am glad that I got the affinity to bring him here for treatment.
I had been to this clinic twice before, even brought my child here, and thought it was pretty good, especially the pediatric massage. But after my experience a few days ago, I don’t think I’ll come back again. (This is not directed at all the staff—the front desk service was excellent, with 100% polite attitude.) However, I’m not sure if I disturbed the doctor’s breakfast, or if he was simply impatient because it was early and busy, but when I asked questions, he snapped back at me: “Don’t you understand? Why do you keep asking?” and said it in a rude tone. Of course, I didn’t understand—that’s why I was asking. Is it wrong to want clarification? This was the most impolite attitude I’ve ever experienced from a traditional Chinese medicine doctor. That said, I believe the pediatric doctors there are still quite good.
Been visiting this TCM for my child. Doctor consultation and massage for children available. Be prepared to wait as it is always crowded, which also means they are good. The reason for 4 star is because of the wait.
The staff and therapist were very friendly and empathetic when I went for tuina, but didn't manage to heal my condition. My advice to anyone on the use of 'electrical nerve stimulation pads' by the therapist, please do consider and review carefully if your body is suitable anot. My body did not react well with the usage.
If i could give a 0 star, i would. Dr See Soo Tiong from room 5 had very very bad trembling hands, literally his hands was shaking and did acupuncture, it felt so unsafe and if he is medically unfit he shouldnt even do this already. The whole time he was very sarcastic and rude as well, please avoid at all cost!!!

No referral is required for a TCM consultation in Singapore — you may book directly. At your first visit, the physician will typically conduct an intake assessment covering your chief complaint, lifestyle, diet, sleep, and medical history, followed by tongue and pulse examination. Complete an intake form honestly and disclose any ongoing medications, supplements, or diagnosed conditions, as some herbal formulas interact with pharmaceutical drugs. If you have a complex or chronic condition, bringing a copy of recent blood work, imaging results, or a specialist letter can help the physician tailor the treatment plan. For conditions that may have an underlying biomedical cause, a GP referral can also facilitate insurance or MediSave claims for certain TCM services at approved clinics.
In Singapore, TCM practitioners who perform acupuncture or prescribe Chinese herbal medicine must be registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health. Registration is verifiable on the TCMPB public register at moh.gov.sg — search by the practitioner's name before booking. Yu Guo Chinese Physician does not currently list any regulatory licences on this platform. Confirm the consulting physician's TCMPB registration number directly with the clinic, and verify it on the public register before your first treatment. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
