About 777 BBQ Steamboat Buffet

About 777 BBQ Steamboat Buffet

777 BBQ Steamboat Buffet is an event caterer based in Tampines, offering BBQ and steamboat buffet catering islandwide across Singapore. The listing is KakiList verified, though no ACRA registration has been confirmed. It holds a 3.9 out of 5 across 57 Google reviews — a moderate sample that gives a reasonable indication of service quality, though individual experiences may vary.

For event catering enquiries, start by confirming the pax count and minimum headcount, as buffet caterers typically require a minimum of 30–50 guests. Clarify the event format — whether you need a standalone BBQ pit setup, steamboat with induction burners, or a combined spread — and the dietary mix your guest list requires, including halal, no-pork-no-lard, vegetarian, or no-beef options. Check whether equipment such as grills, steamboat pots, burners, chafing dishes, and serving utensils is included in the quoted price, and confirm whether a buffet attendant will be on-site to manage the spread. Ask about the delivery and setup window relative to your event start time, teardown timing, and whether a deposit is required to secure the booking.

To get started, reach out to 777 BBQ Steamboat Buffet via WhatsApp or phone to share your event date, location, estimated headcount, and dietary requirements, and request a written per-pax quotation before confirming the booking.

We went on a weekend night and we liked that it was quiet. We were also offered a car park coupon by the lady selling drinks. The current buffet promotion of $19.90 for adult and $9.90 for children is really value for money. They have a wide range of seafood and marinated meat. For this price, they even have beef. I didn't try the beef so I can't quite comment on the quality. For the seafood, prawn, fish and scallop were fresh while I was expecting the mini lobster to be better. Marinated chicken was pretty good in my opinion. They offer cooked food and also ice cream. I've already recommended this place to a friend. Glad that it didn't disappoint too!

Been hearing from a few friends about this “mookata” buffet stall located at a corner of Tampines industrial park coffeeshop and decided to try it out on a Tuesday evening. The coffeeshop was almost empty and all the other food stalls were already closed when I arrived at around 8.30pm. Currently they are having this promotion at $19.90 nett per pax. Super value for money! I’m actually looking forward for their crayfish but I think they replaced their crayfish for mini lobsters. They have several types of chilli sauces. From super spicy to mild spicy. My personal favourite was their sweet chilli, while my friend enjoyed their sour chilli (the one that is dark green in colour). Two choices of soups to choose from. Tom Yum and Chicken soup. I chose the Chicken soup. A little bland to start off; but after dropping in crabs, lala and prawns, it became a tasty seafood soup. Their meats and vegetables are cleanly and neatly kept in the sliding door refrigerator, while their seafoods are kept open with ice all over to keep it fresh. I’m a little disappointed with their meats though. Even the marinated ones tasted pretty dry after barbecuing it with butter. So I will highly recommend you to go for their seafood instead. They have Lala, flower crabs, mussels, squid, scallops, bamboo clams, prawns and mini lobsters. I’m a little guilty and embarrassed to say that me and my friend wiped out two full trays of their mini lobsters, probably around 80 to 100 pieces of it. However they are generous and kind enough to ask us if we would like more mini lobsters before they close their stall for the night. Best way to cook their mini lobsters and prawns is to peel the shells off BEFORE cooking them, otherwise the shells may stick to the meat making it difficult for you to peel. Be sure to mix in plenty of garlic (you have to request) and butter before cooking them. Overall, service is good. Food is kept clean and tidy. Freshness of food is decent. Prices are extremely reasonable. Would definitely recommend it to friends who are looking for super affordable bbq + steamboat buffet!

2nd visit feast on more seafood and ice cream. Chicken soup is better than Tom Yum. Their chilli damn shiok. Wide array of marinated meat. Fresh seafood. Most importantly buffet. Worth it for the price. $26.80 Mon to Thur $28.80 Fri to Sun Remember to do booking via whatapps of Facebook. Just whack the crayfish, flower crab, prawn, lala, mussel, bamboo shoot, scallops. Marinated meat were nice too. Got chicken, pork and fish. Processed food alot too. Vegetables very little. Soup base either chicken or Tomyum. Got free flow catering food but soso and cold. Ice cream free flow too. Drinks not included. Kopitiam setting.

This new zi char stall recently just started operations for about a week plus. According to the staff, they were previously located at Bedok North blk 123. The coffeeshop zhichar stall have changed hands quite a few over the last few years. Ordered the fishhead steamboat since the weather was cold that night, order 3 other dishes mainly the prawn rolls, prawn paste chicken wings and a stir fry baby kailan with garlic. steamboat was okay, soup has the distinctive sour taste, probably from the sour plum and tomatoes. Their prawn rolls were not bad as well, they were handmade according to the staff.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does 777 BBQ Steamboat Buffet charge per pax?

Per-pax pricing for BBQ and steamboat buffet catering in Singapore typically runs S$18–35/pax for standard spreads, with premiums for live-station setups or larger ingredient selections. A minimum headcount of 30–50 pax is common for this format. Confirm what is included in the quoted rate: charcoal or gas grills and steamboat pots, ingredients and marinades, disposable or reusable crockery and utensils, delivery and setup, and teardown. Items that may be billed separately include a buffet attendant (typically S$80–150 per attendant), additional equipment rental, and a delivery surcharge for non-central or landed addresses. GST may apply depending on the operator's registration status. See the full catering cost guide for Singapore →

What dietary options and halal certification does 777 BBQ Steamboat Buffet offer?

No regulatory licences — including a MUIS halal certificate — are currently listed for 777 BBQ Steamboat Buffet. Before booking, confirm directly whether the kitchen holds an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence and whether any halal certification is in place. 'No pork no lard' without a MUIS certificate is not equivalent to certified halal and will not meet the standard for guests who require strict halal. Also ask whether vegetarian, no-beef, and other dietary options are available within the BBQ and steamboat menu, and how cross-contamination between meats is managed at the setup. For mixed dietary guest lists, confirming these details before signing any agreement is important.

Is 777 BBQ Steamboat Buffet licensed and how is food safety handled?

No SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence is currently listed for 777 BBQ Steamboat Buffet. Confirm the licence status and hygiene grade directly — A is the highest grade, followed by B, C, and D — before booking, particularly for events above 20 guests where food-safety incidents carry greater risk. For BBQ and steamboat formats, cooked items should be served within a 2–3 hour window from preparation to consumption, with raw ingredients stored at the correct temperature before grilling. Confirm the setup arrival time, whether chafing dishes and heat sources maintain safe holding temperatures, and the policy for handling leftover food at teardown. Avoid committing a deposit before the licence status is confirmed in writing. See the full catering cost guide for Singapore →
