About Active Global Respite Care Pte Ltd

About Active Global Respite Care Pte Ltd

Active Global Respite Care Pte Ltd is an islandwide eldercare provider based at 51 Goldhill Plaza, Singapore, specialising in home nursing services. The company is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It holds a 4.8/5 rating across 882 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reliable signal of consistent service quality. Pricing is structured on an hourly basis at a mid-range tier.

Families typically begin by conducting a care assessment to map the elder's mobility, medical needs, and daily support requirements. From there, the key decisions are whether visit-based home nursing is sufficient or whether longer daily coverage is needed, and how medical tasks — such as wound care, tube feeding, catheter management, or post-hospitalisation monitoring — fit alongside personal care and companionship. Multiple family decision-makers are often involved, and Active Global Respite Care can help coordinate this process. A trial period is advisable before committing to a longer arrangement, allowing the elder and family to assess caregiver fit.

To take the next step, contact Active Global Respite Care Pte Ltd by phone or via the enquiry form to arrange a care assessment and receive a quote based on the hours and scope of nursing support required.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Nurse Bibiana for the exceptional care she provided to my mum following her fistula surgery in early January 2026. From the very beginning, she was kind, patient, and highly attentive in managing my mum’s daily wound dressing. Her professionalism and gentle approach gave us great reassurance during a challenging period. What we are especially grateful for is the extra effort she took to guide our helper step by step on how to perform the dressing properly. She ensured that our helper was fully equipped with the necessary knowledge and confidence to care for my mum on Sundays, when the polyclinics are closed. This thoughtful guidance has made a significant difference in maintaining continuity of care at home. We truly appreciate her dedication, compassion, and commitment to her patients’ well-being. Thank you, Nurse Bibiana, for going above and beyond.

I would like to sincerely express my appreciation for Sri Rahayu (ICS: Interim Care Service). Although I do not stay with my father, I am closely involved in managing his care during a very challenging period of his health. Having Rahayu there to assist him has given me reassurance and peace of mind. Caring for someone who is physically weak and fully dependent requires patience and compassion. Rahayu carried out her duties responsibly — assisting with daily hygiene, changing pampers, managing his oxygen needs, and ensuring his comfort — all with gentleness and sincerity. What I appreciate most is the way she treated my father with dignity and kindness. As his daughter, that means more to me than words can express. During a time when I was juggling many responsibilities, her support truly eased my burden. She is hardworking, willing to learn, and always tries her best. I am deeply grateful for her service and sincerely hope she will be placed with an employer who values and respects her dedication. May she continue to be blessed for her kindness. 🤍

I engaged Global Active Care Giver for two weeks of interim care services for my late mother. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. Both caregivers assigned were from Myanmar and did not appear to be medically trained or qualified nurses. Throughout the care period, I had to personally instruct and closely monitor them on what to do. When my mother was unable to perform any exercise therapy, the caregivers would mostly sit down and use their phones instead of providing proactive care or assistance. The contract clearly stated working hours from 8am to 8pm, yet both caregivers consistently left early at 7pm, which is a direct breach of the agreed service terms. I only managed to use their service for two days, as my mother sadly passed away on the second day. I immediately contacted their admin staff, Shanix, to inform them that I needed to stop the interim care service. Despite the circumstances being completely beyond our control, I was informed that cancellation fees would still apply. I had hoped the company would show compassion and waive the fees given the situation, but they insisted on charging me regardless. Overall, I found the service to be lacking in professionalism, compassion, and value. The caregivers felt more like domestic helpers rather than certified or trained nursing staff. I would not recommend Global Active Care Giver, especially for families seeking proper medical or professional caregiving services during such critical and emotional times.

Syaqilah and Zuhairah have been caring for my mum for the past three years, and their compassion and dedication have been truly commendable. My mum always looks forward to their visits and genuinely enjoys communicating with them. As a senior living at home alone, these visits have helped fill her life with meaningful routines and companionship. They have become an important part of her daily activities and her senior journey. Thank you so much, from both me and my mum. Keep up the wonderful work.

We engaged Active Global Interim services a second time. This time, Nan Yin Hla was assigned to us. She is the best, very professional and skillful. Her English is good. She is a fast learner. My brother is mentally slow and mild autistic, IQ of 5 years old but Nan was able to communicate well with him. He had a fall mid Dec. Upon discharge, he needed help in showering and continued physio. The OT at the hospital taught him the showering skills but Nan enhanced it by ensuring he was able to do it himself, reminding him of the tactics, so that he would not aggravate the torn muscles on his left shoulder. She was very caring that his safety is first. She complimented him when he did a task well. She was also very encouraging to him. She relieved me during the time before the CNY and 2 days after. We had a real good time with Nan. Now he is good to go to Active Global Day Care. Can’t say enough of my thanks and appreciation for Nan. She had taken care of many cancer patients and elderlies. They are not able to write reviews in this manner but speaking on behalf of patients needing care, Nan she well deserves recognition and rewards from Active Global management.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Active Global Respite Care Pte Ltd charge?

Active Global Respite Care Pte Ltd prices its home nursing services on an hourly basis, positioned at a mid-range tier. Typical home nursing rates in Singapore run from around S$20–30 per hour for basic personal care up to S$35–60 or more per hour for skilled nursing tasks such as wound care, nasogastric tube management, or post-surgical monitoring. Longer daily engagements and recurring arrangements may be quoted at a day-rate or package rate rather than strictly by the hour. Confirm in writing whether the quoted rate covers all tasks in the care plan, whether public holiday surcharges apply, and whether consumables such as dressings, catheters, or medication management are billed separately. For live-in or extended arrangements, clarify whether the caregiver is employed directly by the agency or deployed as a freelancer, as this affects insurance coverage and liability. Visit-based or extended care — what does Active Global Respite Care Pte Ltd offer?

Active Global Respite Care Pte Ltd provides home nursing services across Singapore on an islandwide basis, with pricing structured hourly. Visit-based arrangements typically involve a nurse attending for a defined window — commonly two to four hours — to carry out clinical tasks such as wound dressing, vital sign monitoring, or medication administration, then leaving. Extended-coverage arrangements involve longer daily shifts or full-day support, which suits elders who need consistent monitoring or personal care throughout the day. A trial period of one to two weeks is advisable before committing to an ongoing arrangement. This gives the elder time to adjust, allows the family to assess whether the caregiver's approach and demeanour are a good fit, and helps refine the scope of tasks actually needed. Confirm the replacement policy in advance — specifically, what happens if the assigned nurse is unwell or unavailable.

Is the caregiver trained and insured?

Home nursing services in Singapore involve clinical tasks that should be carried out by trained and, for regulated procedures, licensed practitioners. For skilled nursing — wound care, tube feeding, urinary catheter care, post-discharge monitoring — the attending professional should hold a nursing qualification registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) under the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) framework. Personal care workers carrying out non-clinical support do not require the same registration but should have recognised eldercare or caregiving training. Active Global Respite Care Pte Ltd does not currently list regulatory licences on its KakiList profile — confirm directly with the company which categories of staff they deploy, the qualifications held, and whether professional indemnity or caregiver insurance is in place to cover incidents during a session. For clinical nursing engagements, ask for the assigned nurse's SNB registration number before the first visit. Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
