About AscendCare Medical

About AscendCare Medical

AscendCare Medical is a paediatric clinic located at 11 Kee Seng Street, #01-02 Onze@Tanjong Pagar, Singapore 089218, serving families islandwide. The practice has been verified by KakiList, and holds a 5/5 rating across 50 Google reviews — a moderate sample that suggests consistent patient satisfaction. No regulatory licence information has been provided in the listing, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed; parents are encouraged to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration independently before booking.

For a first paediatric consultation, parents typically bring their child's health booklet and vaccination records so the doctor can cross-reference the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) schedule and assess developmental milestones against age norms. Common presenting reasons include fever and acute illness, skin conditions, respiratory complaints, feeding difficulties, growth monitoring, and developmental concerns. After the consultation, the doctor will outline a management plan, prescribe where appropriate, and advise on follow-up timing. For planned procedures or specialist referrals, request a written financial counselling estimate that separates insurance payout, MediSave withdrawal, and out-of-pocket cost before proceeding. MediSave can be used under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for selected chronic paediatric conditions, and Integrated Shield Plan (IP) riders may cover day surgery or inpatient admissions subject to deductibles and co-insurance rules.

To book an appointment with AscendCare Medical, contact the clinic directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form. Verify the consulting doctor's name on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg and confirm the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before your visit.

I had a great experience at Ascendcare Medical Clinic. I went in for an eye stye, and Dr. Michael was professional, attentive, and very reassuring throughout the consultation. He took the time to explain the condition clearly and recommended effective treatment without rushing the appointment. The clinic was clean, well-organized, and the staff were friendly and efficient. I felt well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend Ascendcare Medical Clinic and Dr. Michael for anyone seeking quality medical care.

Second time visiting this new clinic. Feels like a relaxing café with plants all around and was super clean with an air purifier. I was experiencing severe facial pain, cough and a blocked ear that has been bothering me for weeks. Instead of just explaining things verbally, the doctor took the time to show me an image and explained how the infection occurred and what I could do to feel better. Even though the clinic was busy with a few other patients, the staff was really nice and offered me water or tea. I think this was the first time I have ever visited a clinic that showed such a thoughtful gesture! They even took the initiative to check which medications were eligible for Medisave claims, so I wouldn’t have to pay the full price❤️

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does AscendCare Medical charge?

GP-level paediatric consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit; private paediatric specialist first consultations are S$120–250, with follow-ups at S$80–180. AscendCare Medical is listed at the '$$' price tier, which is broadly consistent with these ranges, but specific fees have not been published in the listing — contact the clinic directly for current pricing. Beyond the consultation fee, common add-ons include vaccinations (S$30–80 per dose depending on the vaccine), blood panels (S$60–200), and any prescribed medications. GST applies to private medical services. For any planned procedure, request an itemised written estimate that splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portion before proceeding. Is AscendCare Medical MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licence information has been provided in this listing. Before booking, verify two things independently: first, that the clinic premises hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — searchable on the MOH licensee directory; second, that the consulting doctor is registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, which also shows their specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine and any disciplinary history. For paediatric specialists, an MMED (Paediatric Medicine) or MRCP (Paediatrics) fellowship is the meaningful credential beyond basic SMC registration. Confirm both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry before your child's first appointment — neither alone is sufficient. ACRA registration for the operating entity has also not been confirmed in this listing. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at AscendCare Medical?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, subject to your plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For any planned procedure, obtain a Letter of Guarantee from your IP insurer before admission to avoid post-treatment claim disputes. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the S$500/year general withdrawal limit, or S$700/year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for qualifying chronic paediatric conditions such as asthma. The NIP childhood vaccination schedule includes partially subsidised doses at polyclinics; private clinic vaccination fees are generally self-pay. Request a financial counselling session at AscendCare Medical before any planned procedure — a responsible clinic will issue an itemised pre-treatment estimate that clearly separates insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket cost. Skipping this step is the most common reason families are surprised by the final bill.
