About Assist Care Nursing And Services
Assist Care Nursing And Services provides home nursing and eldercare services across Singapore, operating from Ang Mo Kio and covering all areas of the island. The provider is KakiList-verified, confirming that operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 4.8/5 rating across 20 Google reviews — a modest sample that is nonetheless consistent and warrants consideration alongside direct enquiry.
Engaging a home nursing service typically begins with a care assessment to establish the elder's mobility, medical conditions, and daily support requirements. Families should clarify whether clinical nursing tasks — such as wound care, catheter management, tube feeding, or medication administration — are needed, or whether personal care and companionship is the primary goal. It is also important to determine whether care is required on an hourly visit basis or whether a more intensive arrangement involving extended daily hours is needed. All key decision-makers in the family should be involved early, as care plans frequently require adjustment over time. A short trial period at the outset allows both the family and the caregiver to confirm that the arrangement is a good fit before longer-term commitments are made.
To take the next step, reach out to Assist Care Nursing And Services via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to arrange an initial care assessment and discuss the level of nursing support required.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
Update: After speaking with Ms Ling, we have been able to settle the partial refund issue. Much appreciation to Farhan, who has taken it onto himself to help with the customer chat service and explain the situation, and for putting me in touch with Ms Ling. My only other feedback is for the agency to improve communications with the client, or provide more updated timelines if they can. This updated review and rating is now purely based on the nursing services rendered. I do highly recommend Assist Care Nursing, especially if you need urgent nursing or palliative care. I reached out to Assist Care Nursing on the 12th of April to seek urgent help with my late father's palliative stay at home, as NUH was rushing to discharge him and I was unable to arrange for additional help in time. Ms Ling was prompt in replying back, and was very in-depth in asking questions and checking what was needed to arrange for my father's care. A nurse roster and schedule was quickly arranged, and the charges are also broken down clearly. Throughout my father's care, the various nurses (Omedar, Moe, Thin, and Soorya) made his final days as comfortable as possible. Besides nursing and administrating medication, they also kept him company, spoke to him, groomed him, and Omedar (the only male nurse in the roster) was kind enough to help with showering him. A big thank you to the nurses and Ms Ling for answering the call and overseeing a patient's final journey to the end.
I was very worried no one takes care of my father when my maid suddenly return home. Through a friend recommendation, I got to know Assist Care Nursing Service. The planner Ling was very patience and listened to our problems. She immediately send over Meena who was very professional and helpful. I am so thankful that I had contacted them.
We had a great experience with Assist Care. Ling was so quick & helpful. In spite of her being on holiday, she got back to me quickly, & with a list of nurses for a week. Nurses she sent were very good, experienced, kind & caring . Ling was also quick to return money when we had to cancel the nurses when my mum passed on. Very efficient. I would definitely recommend this company if required in future, they will be the first I will call. I had other companies before I called her, non were so quick & helpful. Thank you so much for your help when my family were all so tired & desperate for help on my mum’s last days . God bless all of you Gloria Teo & family
Assist Care provided nursing services for my father in May 2023. It had been a delightful experience from the first phone I made to enquire about their services. My questions were answered clearly, and arrangements very promptly made for nurse rosters. Nurses who attended to my father took their work very professionally and were gentle and caring in attending to my bedridden father. They interacted and communicate with my mother and the family patiently and compassionately, and were punctual in reporting to work. Ling rendered assistance & professional advice promptly over the days we needed help (eg with oxygen dispenser). We are grateful for the attentive care given to my father, and Assist Care helped ease our final journey with my father.
Ling was truly a lifesaver. My grandmother required very immediate and sudden care and Assist Care Nursing was able to provide that. Thank you for your patience, understanding, responsiveness and for providing services and support. The nurses that were sent to look after my grandmother (Jennifer and Priyanka), took great care of my grandmother and supported her with her daily activities and her physio exercises. Would definitely recommend them!

Assist Care Nursing And Services operates on an hourly pricing model, with rates in Singapore's home nursing market typically ranging from S$25–60 per hour for personal care and S$60–120 per hour or more for clinical nursing visits, depending on the complexity of care and qualifications required. Daily or monthly packages may be available for more intensive arrangements. Beyond the hourly rate, confirm whether there are additional costs for public holidays, peak-hour visits, or travel to your area. For live-in or extended arrangements, clarify whether agency fees, caregiver insurance, and administrative costs are bundled or billed separately. Request a written breakdown before committing to any plan. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →
Assist Care Nursing And Services is listed under home nursing, which typically refers to visit-based care rather than live-in arrangements. Visit-based nursing covers scheduled hourly sessions for clinical tasks such as wound dressing, injections, catheter care, or post-hospitalisation recovery support, as well as personal care including bathing assistance and mobility support. If your family requires around-the-clock supervision, you should clarify directly whether extended daily hours or live-in options are available. A trial period of one to two weeks is advisable to assess whether the care frequency and scope are sufficient before settling into a longer arrangement. Confirm the replacement policy if a caregiver is unavailable due to illness or leave.
For home nursing services, caregivers providing clinical care should hold recognised nursing qualifications — such as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) credential — and ideally be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board under the Allied Health Professions Council framework. For non-clinical personal care roles, relevant training certificates and dementia care training are meaningful indicators of competence. Assist Care Nursing And Services does not currently list regulatory licences on KakiList. Before engaging the service, ask directly about the qualifications of the assigned caregiver, whether the provider holds AIC or MOH registration for home nursing, and what insurance is in place to cover caregiver injury or incidents involving the client. Putting the care plan, hours, rate, and caregiver details in writing will protect all parties. Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
