About Autism Recovery Network ARN

About Autism Recovery Network ARN

Autism Recovery Network ARN is a paediatric healthcare provider operating from 458A Joo Chiat Road, Singapore, serving families islandwide. KakiList has verified its operating details and contact channels. It holds a 4.6 out of 5 rating across 59 Google reviews, which represents a moderate sample and provides a reasonable directional signal of patient and family experience. No regulatory licences are currently listed in the provider's record, which limits independent verification of its clinical credentials at this stage.

Families seeking paediatric services for a child with autism or a suspected developmental difference will typically begin with a first specialist consultation, during which the clinician reviews any existing developmental assessments, observes the child, and outlines a diagnostic or therapeutic pathway. For autism specifically, a formal diagnostic assessment — drawing on structured tools such as the ADOS-2 and developmental history — usually precedes any intervention plan. It is worth confirming whether the provider offers diagnostic assessment, early intervention therapy (such as speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, or Applied Behaviour Analysis), or both, and whether the multidisciplinary team includes SMC-registered paediatricians or psychiatrists alongside allied health practitioners. Families should also clarify the referral pathway: a polyclinic or GP referral letter to a public hospital's Child Development Unit offers a subsidised route with longer waits, while a direct private appointment is faster and self-funded, with the first consultation typically running S$120–250.

To take the next step, contact Autism Recovery Network ARN by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to confirm the scope of services offered, the qualifications of the clinical team, and whether a written financial estimate covering consultation, assessment, and therapy fees can be provided before any commitment.

Our journey with ARN over the past few months has been truly wonderful. We enrolled our child a few months ago and the progress we’ve seen has been remarkable. He has started communicating with us and is now responding with words—something that was not happening earlier. We have also noticed significant improvement in his eating habits. Earlier, he was very selective with food, but with the support and guidance from ARN, he is now able to finish his meals and is gradually trying new foods as well. The team has helped immensely in developing these skills. The teachers have been extremely compassionate and supportive throughout our journey. If you are looking for therapy services for your child, ARN is truly an excellent place to consider. Thank you ARN, for all the care, patience and support you’ve given our child.

Amazing centre that will help your child in their development journey. I enrolled Mufaro and he was treated with love and care. He started with no tolerance to sitting and struggled hugely with attention span, speech delay and no social skills. Today Mufaro sits well, understands well and is making progress towards his speech. The ARN social class is also incredible and the teachers will recommend it once your child is ready. The centre has amazing teachers who will connect with your child. Highly recommend if your child needs help on ABA, speech, learning challenges and other delays. They will be in good hands.

We are firm believers in the power of therapy for our daughter, Eva. When we learned that Eva has autism, we began early intervention as soon as she was 18 months old. As parents, we’ve always seen ourselves as her strongest advocates — determined to provide her with every opportunity for growth and a sense of normalcy in education, just like any other child. To us, autism is not a disability, but a special gift that comes with unique strengths and learning styles. Since then, we’ve explored a wide range of therapies including ABA, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Craniosacral Therapy, among others. While therapy is a long-term commitment, our journey has given us valuable experiences with many educators and therapists along the way. We enrolled Eva at ARN in January 2023, and we’ve been with them ever since. Consistency is key — Eva attends sessions twice a week, and even more during school holidays. Over time, we’ve witnessed tremendous progress and success in her development. What truly sets ARN apart is their structured monthly evaluations conducted by the Center Supervisors. Parents are personally updated after each evaluation — either during the session itself or, for working parents like us, through detailed video updates and email reports. This transparent communication has been incredibly helpful in allowing us to track Eva’s progress, understand her behavior during sessions, and reinforce the same strategies at home. We also appreciate that ARN’s teachers are highly trained and closely monitored by the Center to ensure quality and consistency. There’s a clear structure and curriculum in place, which gives us great peace of mind as working parents. Overall, our experience with ARN has been nothing short of remarkable. We are deeply grateful for the care, professionalism, and commitment shown to Eva’s growth and well-being.

It’s been a wonderful journey with ARN for the past few months. We admitted our kid here a few months back and he has already started showing improvements in communicating with us. Now he responds to actions which was never the case earlier. Teachers have been very compassionate and supportive all through. Supervisor’s inputs every month has been invaluable and ensured the curriculum is adjusted accordingly to meet the kid’s learning needs. If you’re looking for early intervention programs or therapy services for your kid, look for no other place than ARN.

Over the past several months, my child has been attending sessions at Autism Recovery Network, and the progress has been truly inspiring. When he was first diagnosed with ASD, we were unsure of what kind of improvements to expect, but the dedicated team at ARN has exceeded all of our hopes. His teacher shows so much patience and warmth, making every session engaging and effective. The supervisor is always available to guide us, helping us understand the strategies being used so we can continue to support him at home. The staff’s consistency and professionalism have made a huge difference. Most importantly, my son’s communication skills have grown tremendously. He is now able to express himself in ways we once thought might never happen. We are so grateful to the ARN team for their dedication, compassion, and expertise.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Autism Recovery Network ARN charge?

First specialist or developmental paediatric consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$120–250, with follow-up reviews at S$80–180. For autism diagnostic assessments, a full evaluation (structured observation, parent interview, standardised testing) is usually a separate fee of S$800–2,500 depending on the instruments used and the number of sessions required. Therapy sessions — speech-language, occupational therapy, or behaviour intervention — typically run S$100–250 per session in the private setting. On top of the consultation, investigations may be billed separately: developmental screening questionnaires, genetic referrals, hearing tests, or neuropsychological assessments each carry their own costs. Any planned diagnostic package should be quoted with a written financial counselling estimate that splits insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions clearly. GST applies on private medical services. See the full paediatric cost guide for Singapore →

Is Autism Recovery Network ARN MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, any specialist accreditation (for example, in Paediatric Medicine or Child Psychiatry), and disciplinary history. No licences are currently listed in Autism Recovery Network ARN's KakiList record, so it is important to ask the provider directly for its MOH clinic licence number and the SMC registration details of the clinician or clinicians you will be seen by. For autism-related services, also clarify whether the team includes SMC-registered doctors (who can issue a formal diagnostic report accepted by MOE Special Education Branch, DSS, and SG Enable) or allied health practitioners (speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists) who are regulated by their respective allied-health boards. Both are legitimate, but the distinction affects which downstream funding and school-placement pathways are open to your child.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Autism Recovery Network ARN?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations and day procedures subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. Confirm pre-authorisation requirements with your insurer before a first appointment. MediSave can pay for selected outpatient services under the S$500 general outpatient limit or S$700 under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers a defined list of chronic conditions — confirm with the clinic whether autism-related consultations qualify under the CDMP pathway. Many autism-specific therapy sessions (ABA, speech, OT) in private settings are not MediSave-claimable and must be paid out of pocket. The Enabling Lives Initiative (ELI) grant administered by SG Enable and the MOE Developmental Support Programme offer separate funding channels for early intervention that do not run through MediSave. For any planned assessment or therapy package, request a written financial counselling breakdown itemising insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
