Support for persons on the autism spectrum in Singapore, offering education, employment, and family empowerment for independent living
Autism Resource Centre Singapore handles a steady flow of Paediatric requests. That focus shapes how they quote — expect practical questions about the scope of work and the property before any figures are discussed.
Autism Resource Centre Singapore covers all of Singapore, which is useful if you live in a less-central estate or need a provider that can follow a recurring job to different addresses. The business is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the operating details and contact channel. If you want to gauge whether Autism Resource Centre Singapore is the right fit for your job, the fastest path is a WhatsApp message with photos of the issue, your postal code, and a rough preferred slot. Most providers on KakiList respond within a few hours during business hours and can quote before scheduling a visit.
I have autism, and am currently in need of a part time job- I was told to contact them for help, and did. I was told that to be assessed, they would need proof of my autism before I could recieve help. My diagnoses was done almost 17 years ago, in another country, and the papers of which are still my psychologist. I was told then that either I went to a poly clinic, which I highly doubt has people qualified to diagnose someone with autism, or I wouldn’t get help. This is ridiculous. At this point I’m begging for help and I’m told that I essentially need to prove my autism before I can recieve help for a job. As an adult with autism this is the most heart breaking and honestly insulting thing that can occur. I live with autism 24/7. I highly doubt that the people who work here even understand a bit of how hard it is to exist within a system that’s ableist.
