About Awfully Chocolate Catering

About Awfully Chocolate Catering

Awfully Chocolate Catering provides event catering services islandwide from its base at 252 North Bridge Road, Raffles City Shopping Centre. The listing has been verified by KakiList, and the provider holds a 4.4-star rating across 396 Google reviews — a robust sample that reflects consistent customer experience. Pricing is structured on a per-pax basis, positioned in the mid-range tier.

When planning a catered event, begin by confirming the pax count and whether a minimum headcount applies — standard buffets in Singapore typically require 30 to 50 guests, while mini-buffets for smaller gatherings can start from 8 to 15 pax. Clarify the menu format (buffet, mini-buffet, bento, or live station), the dietary mix across your guest list (halal, vegetarian, no-pork-no-lard, no-beef), and whether a menu tasting is available before you commit. Confirm delivery and setup timing, whether chafing dishes and warmers are included or hired separately, whether a buffet attendant is provided on-site, and the teardown arrangement. Ask about the cooked-to-served window for hot dishes, the balance payment schedule, and the policy for handling leftovers safely.

To proceed, contact Awfully Chocolate Catering by phone or via the enquiry form on their listing, providing your event date, venue, estimated guest count, and any dietary requirements — then request a written quotation before paying any deposit.

I had such a wonderful experience with Denise from the Raffles City outlet. She assisted me with my purchase entirely over the phone, making the whole process seamless and stress-free. Not only did she patiently and cheerfully walk me through the cake flavour options and make thoughtful recommendations, she genuinely cared about getting it right. What truly stood out was her initiative and heart. Denise ensured the cake was carefully packed and personally waited at the taxi pick-up point so the collection would be smooth and convenient. That level of attentiveness and ownership is rare. It wasn’t just a transaction.. it felt like she was personally invested in making sure everything went perfectly. Small gestures like these create a big impact. Thank you, Denise, for going above and beyond. Exceptional service 🙏⭐

For the positives. Everything on offer looks simply stunning. Everything is incredibly clean, tidy and has been made with a huge amount of care and effort. However, I was severely disappointed with the lack of flavour in my Nutella tart. There was no flavour of Nutella or hazelnut. And the taste of chocolate was non-existent. Not worth the money would go elsewhere instead.

Got some pretty packing cookies for CNY for gift. Got the bitter chocolate cashews which is not too sweet. Lady at the outlet was very helpful & friendly answering all questions I have.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Awfully Chocolate Catering charge per pax?

Awfully Chocolate Catering uses per-pax pricing, which is standard for buffet and mini-buffet catering in Singapore. Market norms run S$15–25 per pax for standard buffets (minimum roughly 30–50 pax), S$25–40 per pax for premium spreads, and S$18–30 per pax for mini-buffets starting from 8–15 pax. Bento delivery typically runs S$8–18 per pax, and live-station formats S$30–60 per pax. Always confirm the minimum order, whether delivery and setup are included or billed separately, whether chafing dishes and warmers are provided, and whether a buffet attendant on-site carries an additional charge (typically S$80–150 per attendant). GST applies. See the full catering cost guide for Singapore →

What dietary options and halal certification does Awfully Chocolate Catering offer?

Before booking, confirm whether Awfully Chocolate Catering holds a MUIS halal certificate — the certificate should display a licence number and validity dates. 'No pork no lard' or 'halal-friendly' without MUIS certification is not the same as certified halal and will not meet the standard for guests who require strict halal compliance. Also confirm vegetarian options (lacto-ovo vs vegan), no-beef choices for Hindu guests, and any gluten-free or nut-free requirements. Ask about cross-contamination protocols if your guest list mixes dietary needs, and whether a menu tasting is available — most caterers offer a tasting session for orders above a minimum value, and it is worth arranging before paying the deposit.

Is Awfully Chocolate Catering licensed and how is food safety handled?

Legitimate caterers hold an SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence with a hygiene grade — A is the highest, followed by B, C, and D. Awfully Chocolate Catering does not currently list regulatory licences on this profile; confirm the SFA licence number and hygiene grade directly before booking, and request a copy of any MUIS halal certificate if halal certification is relevant to your event. For food safety, hot dishes should be served within a 2–3 hour cooked-to-served window, held above 60°C, and cold dishes held below 5°C per SFA guidelines. Confirm the setup arrival time, buffet replenishment protocol, and the policy for safe handling of leftovers. Confirm the SFA Food Shop or Catering Licence (and MUIS halal certificate where required), book a tasting before paying the deposit, and put the per-pax rate, minimum headcount, dietary mix, delivery and setup window, and balance schedule in writing.
