About Babes N Tots Clinic Dr Edmund Koh

Babes N Tots Clinic Dr Edmund Koh is a paediatric clinic located at 46 Jalan Bukit Ho Swee, #01-878, Singapore 160046, serving patients islandwide. The clinic has been verified by KakiList, confirming operating details and contact channels. It holds a 3.9/5 rating across 58 Google reviews — a moderate sample that offers a reasonable directional signal. No regulatory licences have been listed on this profile, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed; parents are advised to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration directly before booking.

For a first visit, parents typically contact the clinic by phone or via the enquiry form to describe the child's presenting concern — whether a routine developmental review, the National Childhood Immunisation Programme schedule, a fever or respiratory illness, or a longer-standing developmental concern. Bring the child's health booklet, past medical records, and any referral letters. The consulting doctor will conduct a clinical assessment, order any necessary investigations such as blood panels or swabs, and discuss a treatment plan or referral pathway. If an Integrated Shield Plan is in place, check whether the clinic is on the insurer's panel, as out-of-pocket costs differ between panel and non-panel providers. MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits apply for outpatient chronic disease conditions listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme.

Contact Babes N Tots Clinic Dr Edmund Koh by phone or through the online form to confirm appointment availability, the consulting doctor's name and SMC registration, and whether the clinic holds a current MOH Healthcare Services Licence before attending.

Dr. Edmund is an experienced PD physician who truly cares about his patients. He took the time to listen to our concerns and asked thoughtful questions to understand my child's condition fully. He will also explain in easy to understand language about the possible causes and treatment options available His recommended treatment plan has been working well on relieving my child's symptom for the past 9 years, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The clinic staff were also nice and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Edmund to any family seeking Pediatric services. Update: I see the need to better align the public perception of Dr Edmund's practice. He is actually operating a clinic specializing in Pediatric Medicine (healthcare from birth through age 18), offering PD consultation services similar to the clinics situated in Thomson, Mt Elizabeth, Gleneagles etc. albeit at a lower price-point in comparison to the former. It would do Dr Edmund great injustice to rate his service fee against a General Practitioner (GP) who is providing first-contact care for patients of all ages. It is simply NOT an apple to apple comparison at all. Furthermore, the clinic staff are trained to inform "new" patient of the consultation rate at the point of registration. If the fee is deemed unacceptable, one is free to halt the registration process and seek medical attention elsewhere. Let us all practice graciousness in this society.

Dr. Edmund Koh is a baby whisperer. We've only seen him in our toddler's worst moments, but he's an immense professional and has helped nurse her back to good health each time. Dr. Koh has a passion for what he does.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Babes N Tots Clinic Dr Edmund Koh charge?

Paediatric consultation fees at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$60–120 for a first visit and S$50–100 for follow-ups, though fees vary by the complexity of the consultation and any procedures performed. Common additional charges include vaccinations under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (S$30–80 per dose at private clinics, though several NIP vaccines are subsidised at polyclinics), blood panels (S$60–200), swabs, and prescribed medications. For any planned investigation or procedure, request a written cost estimate that splits out the consultation fee, investigation costs, and prescriptions before proceeding. Integrated Shield Plan holders should confirm whether the clinic is on the insurer's panel prior to attending. GST applies on private medical services. Is Babes N Tots Clinic Dr Edmund Koh MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must be registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC); search by name at smc.gov.sg to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. No licences have been listed on this KakiList profile, which means parents cannot currently verify these credentials through this listing alone. Parents are strongly advised to contact the clinic directly to confirm the MOH licence number and the consulting doctor's full name and SMC registration before booking an appointment. For a paediatric clinic, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine on the SMC register is the meaningful credential beyond general SMC registration. Confirm both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry — neither alone is sufficient.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Babes N Tots Clinic Dr Edmund Koh?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For paediatric outpatient visits, confirm whether the clinic is on your insurer's panel before attending, as non-panel claims typically attract lower reimbursement or require pre-authorisation. MediSave can be used under the MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limit (S$500 per year general, S$700 for conditions listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme) and for certain vaccinations. For any planned procedure or investigation, request a financial counselling session so the clinic can provide a written estimate that separates insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket costs. Skipping this step is the most common reason families are surprised by their final bill. The National Childhood Immunisation Programme vaccines are fully subsidised at polyclinics for Singapore Citizens — confirm private-clinic pricing for each vaccine before proceeding.
