About Babes N Tots Clinic Dr Edmund Koh

Babes N Tots Clinic Dr Edmund Koh is a paediatric clinic located at 46 Jalan Bukit Ho Swee, #01-878, Singapore 160046, serving families islandwide. The clinic has been verified by KakiList, confirming operating details and contact channels. It holds a 3.9/5 rating across 58 Google reviews, a moderate sample that warrants some consideration. No regulatory licences have been listed on this directory entry, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed — parents are advised to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration directly before booking.

For a first paediatric consultation, families typically contact the clinic by phone or via the enquiry form to check appointment availability and confirm the presenting concern — whether a developmental milestone review, the National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) schedule, a respiratory or gastrointestinal illness, or a follow-up from a hospital discharge. At the first visit, the doctor will take a detailed history, conduct a physical examination, and advise on any investigations required (blood panel, swab, or referral for imaging). Parents bringing infants and young children should carry the child's health booklet with the NIP vaccination record. For planned procedures or specialist referrals, the clinic should provide a written referral letter and, where applicable, guidance on Integrated Shield Plan pre-authorisation and MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits under the Chronic Disease Management Programme for qualifying conditions.

To arrange an appointment, contact Babes N Tots Clinic Dr Edmund Koh directly by phone or through the online enquiry form, and confirm the consulting doctor's SMC registration and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before your visit.

Dr. Edmund is an experienced PD physician who truly cares about his patients. He took the time to listen to our concerns and asked thoughtful questions to understand my child's condition fully. He will also explain in easy to understand language about the possible causes and treatment options available His recommended treatment plan has been working well on relieving my child's symptom for the past 9 years, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The clinic staff were also nice and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Edmund to any family seeking Pediatric services. Update: I see the need to better align the public perception of Dr Edmund's practice. He is actually operating a clinic specializing in Pediatric Medicine (healthcare from birth through age 18), offering PD consultation services similar to the clinics situated in Thomson, Mt Elizabeth, Gleneagles etc. albeit at a lower price-point in comparison to the former. It would do Dr Edmund great injustice to rate his service fee against a General Practitioner (GP) who is providing first-contact care for patients of all ages. It is simply NOT an apple to apple comparison at all. Furthermore, the clinic staff are trained to inform "new" patient of the consultation rate at the point of registration. If the fee is deemed unacceptable, one is free to halt the registration process and seek medical attention elsewhere. Let us all practice graciousness in this society.

Dr. Edmund Koh is a baby whisperer. We've only seen him in our toddler's worst moments, but he's an immense professional and has helped nurse her back to good health each time. Dr. Koh has a passion for what he does.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Babes N Tots Clinic Dr Edmund Koh charge?

Paediatric consultation fees at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$80–180 for a first visit and S$60–130 for follow-ups, though the clinic has not published a specific fee schedule on this listing. Common add-ons include vaccinations (S$30–120 per dose depending on the vaccine), blood panels (S$60–200), swabs, and prescription medications — these are billed separately from the consultation. GST applies on private medical services. For planned procedures or specialist referrals, request a written financial counselling estimate that splits any insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. Is Babes N Tots Clinic Dr Edmund Koh MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licences have been listed for this provider in the KakiList directory. Before booking, parents should independently verify two things: first, that the clinic premises hold a current MOH Healthcare Services Licence, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory; second, that the consulting doctor — Dr Edmund Koh — holds active Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration with specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, searchable by name at smc.gov.sg. Neither licence alone is sufficient — both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry should be confirmed. The clinic's ACRA registration has also not been confirmed on this listing. The 3.9/5 rating across 58 Google reviews is a moderate sample and provides some directional signal. Verify the doctor on the SMC register and the clinic's MOH licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial estimate before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Babes N Tots Clinic Dr Edmund Koh?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays subject to the plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For any planned procedure, confirm pre-authorisation and obtain a Letter of Guarantee from your insurer before the procedure to avoid claim disputes after the fact. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient items under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient claims, and S$700 per year for conditions covered under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which includes asthma, diabetes, hypertension, and other listed conditions. Parents should ask the clinic whether the child's condition qualifies for CDMP coverage. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling session so the itemised estimate — insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket amount — is clear before treatment begins. Skipping this step is the most common source of bill surprises.
