About Belinda's Clinic for Children
Belinda's Clinic for Children is a paediatric clinic located at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, operating islandwide. The listing has been verified by KakiList, confirming active operating details and contact channels. It holds a 4.2-star rating across 25 Google reviews — a moderate sample size, though worth treating with some caution at this volume. No ACRA registration or regulatory licences have been confirmed in the current listing data, which limits the public trust signals available.
Families typically begin with a first specialist consultation, either as a self-paying walk-in at a private clinic (typical S$120–250) or via a polyclinic or GP referral letter, which reduces costs substantially for Singapore Citizens attending subsidised outpatient clinics. At a paediatric specialist, the first visit usually covers a clinical history review, developmental milestone assessment, presenting complaint examination, and — where indicated — referral for investigations such as blood panels, urine cultures, or X-rays. For well-child visits, the clinic may follow the National Childhood Immunisation Programme schedule and track growth and developmental milestones by age band. Families managing chronic paediatric conditions such as asthma or eczema may qualify for the Chronic Disease Management Programme, which allows MediSave withdrawals for selected outpatient treatments. Integrated Shield Plan holders should confirm pre-authorisation requirements with their insurer before specialist visits.

Very happy with the last minute same day appointment (new patient). Dr. Belinda was patient, friendly and extremely thorough.
Poor experience with Belinda. While we had a set of questions, she immediately pivoted the conversation to breastfeeding, and strongly suggested that we set-up a session with her recommended lactation consultant and start medications or risk the milk supply completely stopping within 2 weeks. This led to anxiety and sleepless nights for my wife. Meanwhile our other questions were brushed off as nothing to worry about, without any attempt to explain the rationale. 4 weeks on, our baby is almost exclusively breastfed (without any lactation consultant or medication), meaning that Belinda's diagnosis was off the mark.
Dr. B and her nurses are consistently professional, wonderful, and incredibly helpful. I appreciate her no-nonsense, balanced approach that respects our autonomy as parents while providing just the right amount of guidance. She is thorough and doesn’t rush to over-medicate. I met with several highly recommended doctors before my baby was born, and while they were all great, Dr. B stood out as the most attentive and detailed. I knew right away she was the perfect fit for our family.
Dr Belinda is a wonderful and very kind doctor. You can see that she genuinely loves kids. I am so grateful that she is my daughters pediatrician from birth. The reception team is also brilliant. They helped me avoid unnecessary appointments and pointed out what to watch out for when my daughter was not feeling great. Thank you!
I usually go to Dr Belinda for my second-born, but not sure why my first-born isn’t registered in their system. They do not allow me to walk in, nor to have appointment in the afternoon. The receptionist has no empathy at all. Dr Belinda is great and thorough, but receptionist needs to be trained further on patient management.

At a private paediatric specialist in Singapore, first consultations typically run S$120–250, with follow-up visits at S$80–180. Investigations billed on top include blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests (S$30–80), X-rays (S$80–150), and ultrasounds (S$150–400). Vaccinations under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme are available at many paediatric clinics and are typically S$30–80 per dose for privately purchased jabs not covered by the national schedule. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure or hospital admission, request a written financial counselling estimate that clearly splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and your out-of-pocket portion before proceeding. Every legitimate private clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also be listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by name to confirm active registration, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. No regulatory licences have been confirmed in the current listing data for Belinda's Clinic for Children. This does not mean the clinic is unlicensed, but it does mean you should verify both the MOH clinic licence and the consulting doctor's SMC entry independently before booking. For a paediatric specialist, SMC accreditation in Paediatric Medicine (or a relevant subspecialty such as Neonatology or Paediatric Neurology) is the meaningful credential beyond basic medical registration. Confirm both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry before your first appointment — neither alone is sufficient.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover most private specialist consultations, day procedures, and inpatient admissions, subject to your plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider structure. Confirm with your insurer whether pre-authorisation is required for specialist visits and request a Letter of Guarantee before any planned procedure to avoid claim disputes after the fact. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient expenses under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient chronic conditions, S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers paediatric-relevant conditions including asthma and selected chronic illnesses. Routine GP-style visits and developmental screenings are generally not MediSave-claimable on an outpatient basis unless the condition is on the CDMP list. For any planned procedure, request a financial counselling session at the clinic — ask for an itemised written estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket costs before committing.
