For a first visit, parents typically contact the clinic by phone or through the online enquiry form to confirm appointment availability and presenting concern — whether a routine developmental review against National Childhood Immunisation Programme (NIP) milestones, an acute illness, or an ongoing paediatric condition requiring follow-up. A private paediatric specialist consultation in Singapore is typically S$120–250 for a first visit, with investigations such as blood panels, swabs, or X-rays billed separately. Parents with an Integrated Shield Plan should check pre-authorisation requirements and MediSave eligibility — selected outpatient consultations qualify under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) or the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits, though single acute-visit claims depend on the IP rider and insurer.

Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Dr Oh is spot on with her diagnoses, and always gives us great peace of mind with what next steps and treatment options to take for our kids. She has been our go-to doctor since day 1, and has consistently been reassuring, patient, and encouraging. Her assistants are also friendly and helpful, especially her long-standing assistant, Angeline. We are truly grateful for the care and support Dr Oh and her team have given our family over the years. We highly, highly recommend Dr Oh! 🙂
We’ve been bringing our kids here and have always had a very positive experience. Dr Oh is very good, friendly, and patient. She explains things clearly and gives practical suggestions that are especially helpful for mums managing more than one child. I never feel rushed during the consultation, and she takes the time to address concerns properly. The nurses are also very helpful and warm. Even when the clinic is busy, they remain calm and make sure we understand the medication instructions clearly. I really appreciate that they write down the dosage separately for each child, which makes it much easier for parents to follow at home and reduces the chance of confusion. The overall atmosphere of the clinic is comfortable and reassuring. It can get crowded at times, so it’s best to register early. Overall, it gives parents peace of mind knowing their kids are in good hands. Highly recommended!
Thank you Dr Oh from Kid Clinic Bishan for her detailed explanations and patient guidance. As new parents, we really appreciated the time she took to share clearly and reassure us on how to care for our newborn. Also a big thank you to the nurses who were very friendly, proactive, and helpful throughout our visit. Truly a comforting experience for first-time parents. Edited: nurses not nurse. All are friendly and helpful.
Dr. Oh is an extremely attentive and caring doctor. She has been taking care of my two daughters since birth. She is truly our savior “神医”and the only doctor we completely trust. The nursing team is also very friendly. We are sincerely grateful for the excellent medical services and support they have provided. Highly recommended.
We have been going to Dr Oh at Kids Clinic Bishan for the last 3+ years since having our boy. As first time parents, anxiety sometimes creep in. Fortunately Dr Oh guided us through those moments and in the process grew us into more confident parents and care-givers. Overall, Dr Oh displays expertise, empathy and explains clearly. Also great that she is friendly and we can speak casually with light-hearted humour especially during anxious moments. To add, Ms Angeline from the clinic has also been very helpful and guided us through some A&E/ specialist-related administration during our most recent visit.

Private paediatric consultation fees in Singapore typically run S$120–250 for a first visit and S$80–180 for follow-ups, though the clinic has not published a price list on this listing. Investigations are billed on top — a blood panel runs approximately S$60–200, a throat or nasal swab S$30–80, an X-ray S$80–150, and an ultrasound S$150–400. GST applies to private medical services. For any planned procedure or day surgery, request a written financial counselling estimate upfront that splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions clearly. No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or SMC registration details were provided in this listing. Every legitimate clinic operating in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, specialist accreditation in Paediatric Medicine, and any disciplinary history. Before attending, contact the clinic to obtain the consulting doctor's full name, then verify their SMC entry independently. Neither the clinic licence nor the doctor's registration should be taken on trust — both should be confirmed before booking, particularly for paediatric care where the doctor's specialist accreditation matters.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life can cover private specialist consultations and procedures subject to each plan's deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules — confirm pre-authorisation requirements with your insurer before the visit. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient claims under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits (S$500/year general outpatient, S$700/year for conditions on the Chronic Disease Management Programme list, which includes asthma and certain other paediatric chronic conditions). For childhood vaccinations under the National Childhood Immunisation Programme, MediFund and various government subsidies may apply depending on the child's citizenship status and the clinic's enrolment in subsidised programmes. For any planned procedure, request an itemised financial counselling estimate from the clinic — split by insurance, MediSave, and cash — before committing. Skipping this step is the most common source of billing surprises.
